Chapter 95: Mavis Vermilion (+18)

"Good Luck, Asia"

Lucias said with a light smile on his face as he lowered his head to kiss Asia on her lips, causing the girl to blush with a sweet smile on her face before glancing at the dimensional rift in front of her.

Two dimensional rift were present in front of them coming from the same dimensions, albeit in different timelines and reality.

Asia, together with Irene, will go to a timeline 470 years before the original timeline of the dimension since they need to easily locate the dragons of the dimension. 

While Lucias, together with Erza and Mordred, will go to a different reality that is only a century before the original timeline of the dimension.

"I wish you good luck, Lucias"

Asia said before looking at the rift in front of them with a sharp expression on her face, unlike the usual soft and sweet expressions that she always had when Lucias was around.

"Dad, where are we going?"

Erza asked with a curious expression on her face while she tightly held her father's sleeve.

"We're going to visit your previous home, Erza"

He said before he entered the dimension rift in front of him, causing both Mordred and Erza to follow him from behind. Leaving Asia and Irene who watched them dissapear from the room along with the dimension rift from before.

"We should also move, Irene"

-with Lucias-

"Hold on to me"

He said to the two girls beside him as all 3 of them fell from the sky, causing them to immediately grab his arms tightly in their embrace.

"[Teleportation]"

He casted, causing their bodies to quickly disintegrate into mana before safely landing on the ground, far from the villages to avoid causing a commotion.

"You two can let go of me now"

He said as he looked around their location to see where they currently are.

"Dad, where are we?"

Erza asked Lucias who was looking around their location before sighing in relief as they arrived at the exact location that he wanted to.

"Tenrou Island, stay close to me at all times and wear this"

He said as he grabbed two large leather clothes with a small button connecting two ends of the leather, creating a simple hood that was enough to hide their facial features.

"Let's go"

He said as he wore the same leather cloth on his body before creating a teleportation circle below them.

"Don't allow anyone to see your facial features, got that?"

Lucas asked as he watched Erza wear the hood on her head, before the 3 of them teleported on top of a large half cylindrical building. In the middle of the building was a large insignia of a red lizard, with the building itself seemingly attached to a large mountain behind it.

"We will observe for the meantime"

He said as he casually sat down on the top of the building.

"Observe?"

Mordred asked causing Lucias to point at a little girl with short pale blond hair and bright eyes, hurriedly running inside the building with a large bag on her head that looks like common ingredients used for cooking.

"That girl is our target, two days from now, this place will be attacked by another guild and during that time. We will interfere and save her"

"We aren't going to save the entire guild?"

Erza asked as she stared at her father who had a large smirk on his face.

"I couldn't careless to what happens to this guild. Our primary objective is the little girl from before. Our job will be much easier if this entire place was wiped out except for her"

Lucias said causing Mordred to slightly frown from his words.

"Isn't going a bit too far?"

"No, they were all destined to die except for her and a girl named Zera, so even without us here. They'll all die eventually once this place is attacked, and we can't change the past far too much or else we'll risk destroying the plans I've prepared. This event is a major turn in that little girl's life"

He explained before spreading his mana around the building to easily locate the little girl once the attack started.

"Just trust me, Mordred. I know what I'm doing"

He said with a light smile on his face before turning his gaze back to the gate below them where the little girl entered.

The 3 of them silently standing above the building while hiding their presence to avoid anyone noticing their existence.

"How long are you gonna keep loafing around?"

A tall man with a tatoo of the insignia of the guild said in a low tone to the little girl who was happily reading the book in her hands. 

Swatting the book in the girl's hand to the ground, causing the little girl to tremble in fear.

"I'm sorry... b-but I already finished cleaning the guild"

The little girl timidly said as her small body shivered in fear, wearing dirty and tattered clothes that made it look like she was a slave to the guild.

"Huh!?"

The man grunted as he picked up the little girl by her collar from the ground, causing her body to hang like a lifeless doll as she timidly faced the man's anger.

"What I'm saying is you still gotta clean outside the guild, ya freeloader!"

He said, causing the girl to obediently nod her head in response as he threw her to the ground before stomping on the book that the little girl was reading before.

"You really aren't no use, aren't ya brat!?"

He said as he destroyed the book on his feet while the little girl just watched him with a sad expression on her face.

"Pfft- What? Does she think she can learn magic?"

"What a stinking brat! Hurry up and start cleaning!"

The group of 4 men sneered at her as she silently grabbed the broom on her previous seat, before making his way out of the guild to start cleaning.

"Oy, Mavis"

The man called, causing the little girl to stop in her tracks.

"Those are some nice shoes you have, who bought them for you?"

He said as he casually sat down on the sofa with a large grin on his face.

"... The guild master, Lord Zeeself..."

She answered with looking back, tightly holding the broom in her hand.

"Got that right"

He said with a large smirk on his face as he stared at the little girl in front of them.

"It looks terrible on you, so give em back"

The man said, causing Mavis' shoulder to shiver in response as she hesitantly looked back at the group of men behind her.

"B-But... T-This is the only shoes I have"

"Huh!?"

He shouted as he slammed the table with an extremely angry expression on his face, causing Mavis to flinch in response.

"DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID!?!? YOU USELESS GOOD FOR NOTHING!"

He shouted while the other 4 men to sneer at her direction like they were watching an entertaining show.

"..."

Mavis hesitated, standing still on her place before slowly removing the shoes on her feet with trembling hands, leaving them by her side.

"Good. Now get out of here!!"

The man shouted causing Mavis to walk out of the building while the men behind her laughed loudly while looking at her direction.

"... So, Mordred. Still want to save them?"

Lucias asked while standing on top of a nearby house together with Mordred and Erza who both frowned from what they saw, causing Mordred to clench her fists in anger.

"Those fuckin-"

"Calm down"

Lucias said as he grabbed her by her arm to stop her from charging and killing the men inside the building.

"They aren't worth it, Mordred. They'll die anyway so leave them be"

He said causing Mordred to grit her teeth as she tried to struggle out of his grip, only to fail due to the amount of strength that Lucias had.

"Tch"

She clicked her tongue in irritation before reculantly going back to her place, looking at the group of men with a murderous glare in her eyes.

"Calm down, they won't be smiling for long"

Lucias said with a large grin on his face as they continued Mavis to obediently broom the stone ground outside of the guild, without crying even once even if she was treated like a slave by those men.

After she finished cleaning the guild, she then quickly went towards the kitchen to wash the dishes with a light smile on her face.

"I'm quite surprised at her ability to stay positive despite all that"

Lucias said as they watched Mavis go from one place to another, doing all of the chores left behind by the guild members for her to do.

"... I think we should meet her before the attack starts"

-with Mavis-

After doing all of her chores and tasks dump at her, Mavis tiredly walk towards the stable where she stayed at. The room given to her by the guild master after was dragged into the guild to repay her parents debt after they died.

Grabbing the towel hanged at the wooden fence close to her bed, a small hill of straws used to feed the animals at the stable. Wiping her small petite body covered in scratched and dirt to clean herself and get ready to sleep.

"..."

Mavis remained silent as she wiped her body with the towel before wearing her tattered clothes. Fixing the hill of straws for a bit to give her a comfortable stop to sleep in.

"Good night"

She said as she laid down on the bed of straws, but froze as she noticed the 3 figures who were staring at her with a curious expression on their faces.

"W-Who are you?"

She cautiously asked as her gaze landed on the 6 year old girl at the front of the group. The girl has long silky red hair and very delicate features due to the constant care that she recieved from Lucias during her growth.

The little girl stared at her with sparkling eyes before giving her the small box in her hand.

"??"

"I'm giving you my precious cake, you're quite skinny so you should eat more"

The little girl said while looking at her figure. Unlike most children that she saw in the past, her body was skinny, and her height was short even though Mavis was a 2-3 years older than her. She was extremely malnourished to the point that Erza, the little girl observing her, looked at her in worry before taking out another box of cake from thin air.

"W-Who-"

"My name's Erza Belserion. Hurry up and eat, I know you haven't ate much today"

Erza said as she gave her a plastic fork to use, so that she could eat the cake in front of her.

"Lucias Frey, don't worry, we aren't here to hurt you"

Lucias kindly smiled at her direction before taking out a bottle of fresh milk from his inventory before placing it beside her. Looking at the little girl with a soft expression on his face to avoid scaring her away. 

"???"

Mavis stared at them with her large eyes in confusion as she didn't understand why were they helping her, but slowly relaxed due to the approachable and friendly vibe that Lucias was emitting.

"C-Can I really?"

Mavis asked while staring at the luxurious slice of strawberry cake in front of her with a hesitant expression on her face, as she knew herself how expensive the cake in front of her was.

"It's for you"

Erza assured as she took a piece from the cake and directly fed her, causing Mavis' eyes to brighten as the soft cake melted in her mouth.

"Mn!"

She hummed as the sweetness of the cake spread through her mouth, causing Lucias to unconsciously smile from her cute reactions.

"It's a good thing I always bring a stack of food from my inventory"

He said before taking out a bowl of noodles and a piece of steak from his inventory and placed it in front of Mavis who was happily eating the cake.

"I don't think she will be able to finish all that"

Mordred, who was watching him by the side, said as she stood close to the entrance of the stable to keep guard.

"It doesn't matter, as long as she's full, then we cna just throw away the leftovers"

He said before kneeling on the ground and touching the floor with his hands, injecting his mana to the ground, causing a large tub of soil to appear in front of him.

"This size should be enough"

He said as he pressed his arm on the tub, causing it to turn into a metallic tub as Lucias used [Reconstruction] on the atoms of the soil to turn it into metal.

"[Create Water]"

He casted, causing large amounts of clean water to come out of his hand onto the tub in front of him.

"This should be enough"

He muttered as he filled the tub with water before submerging his hand in the tub of water.

"[Ignite]"

He casted while controlling his mana to avoid vaporising too much of the water inside, just enough for it to warm up so that it wouldn't burn Mavis.

"Erza, go and help her take a bath after she's done eating"

He said to Erza who was eagerly feeding Mavis by the side, finishing the two pieces of cake as she started to feed her the bowl of noodles at Lucias took out.

"Mn"

Erza nodded her head in response causing Lucias to warmly smile before placing a comfortable set of pajamas for Mavis to wear, and a fragrant soap and shampoo at the side of the tub.

"Take off your clothes. Just wiping your body isn't enough to clean you. I'll help you wash your body"

Erza said causing Mavis to hesitantly look at her direction before obediently following her to the tub of warm water.

"O-Onee-chan?"

"Onee-chan? I'm younger than you so you can just call me Erza"

Erza said as she helped her take off her clothes, causing Mavis to shyly hid her chest and crotch with her arms before glancing at Lucias who was watching them from the side, with slightly flushed cheeks.

"You, come with me for a second!"

Mordred shouted as she pulled Lucias outside of the stables, causing Mavis to sigh in relief before sitting on the ground where Erza pointed.

"Why do I need to get out? She's just a child!"

Lucias asked Mordred who was pulled him out of the stable.

"You might not mind it but she does! Your looks are a bit dangerous even for children, and the way you look at her... how suspicious"

"... You make it sound like I target little girls. I was just checking her wounds so that I can heal her, and what's with "how I look at her"? I just looked at her normally like how I did when I first took a bath with my daughters!"

Lucias said with a wry smile on his face while looking at Mordred who had a slight frown on her face.

"Don't label me as a lolicon, even though I do have a fiancée that looks like a little girl, they are a few centuries older than me. I have a buttom line when it comes to age. I wouldn't target a little girl like her"

Lucias defended with a slight frown on his face, causing Mordred to snort in response.

"You..."

Lucias said but stopped as he helplessly sighed, before the two of them heard someone open the entrance behind them.

"We're done"

Erza said as she gave them a thumbs up, causing both of them to walk back inside the stable.

Mavis had a look of awe on her face as she played around with her new clothes, her skin was now smooth and her hair wasn't as rough as it was before. 

"T-Thank you!"

Mavis said as she bowed her head towards the 3 who just came back from outside with an extremely grateful expression on her face, causing Lucias to smile at her direction before patting her head.

"You must have suffered a lot for the past years. Don't worry, as long as were here, we will take care of you, I'll take you to see the faires that you like so much someday"

Lucias said as he crouched down to look at her directly in her eyes, causing her to brightly smile in response as she hurriedly grabbed his hands.

"Really!?"

"Really, I promise to take you to them in the future... but not now"

Lucias said before glancing at Erza who was standing at his side.

"Erza, can you stay with Mavis for the night? I'll prepare a comfortable bed for the two of you to sleep on, alright?"

Lucias said causing Erza to nod her head as she watched Lucias created a soft bed from the soil using [Reconstruction], while Mavis looked at Lucias in awe and excitement due to the display of magic in front of her.

"Mister! Can you teach me how to use magic?"

Mavis asked with sparkling eyes as she arrived in front of Lucias, looking up at him with an adorable expression on her face.

"Sure, if you sleep early for today. I'll teach you how to do magic starting tomorrow. How does that sound?"

"Mn!"

Mavis brightly smiled at his direction with pure excitement visible in her eyes.

"Then go to sleep. I'll come back here tomorrow to pick you two up"

Timeskip

"Where the hell did you get this tent?"

Mordred asked as she pointed at the medium-sized tent located at the hill above the entire guild.

"I bought it with me before we went here. Even though it is a bit small, it can fit both of us so we'll be using this for the meantime"

He said as he started a campfire close to the front of the tent to keep them warm for the night, placing one blanket and two soft pillows inside the tent.

"Both of us? Don't tell me we'll sleep together?"

"We are going to sleep together. I always wanted to experience what it feels like to camp outside... Even though we only have one tent, and its a pain in the ass to build another tent using my skills, so deal with it for the time being. It's not like I'll do anything to you during our sleep"

Lucias said before forcefully teleporting Mordred inside the tent, causing her to look at him in shock.

"Why did you do that? Don't tell me you're planning something?"

Mordred asked while looking at him in suspicion as he entered inside the tent, zipping the entrance close before he comfortably laid down beside her.

"Don't flatter yourself. I won't do anything to you"

Lucias said as he turned his back on Mordred who suddenly showed a large grin on her face.

"Hoh? Is that so?"

She said as she leaned on Lucias who was preparing to sleep.

"Or maybe you don't have the guts to touch me?"

Mordred said as she poked her finger at his cheeks, causing Lucias to narrow his eyes in response.

"Pfft- hahahaha no need to look at me like that! I was just joking with you"

Mordred said with a large smirk on her face before laying back down on her side of the tent.

"... What? Want to try something with me?"

"Stop teasing me, or I'll really do something to you"

Lucias said as he turned his head towards Mordred who has a provoking smile on her face.

"Really? You're character isn't really like that, you're a sissy that needs his own woman to take the initiative."

She said with a large grin on her face.

"Go ahead and do something to me, I told you it ain't going to work"

Mordred said causing Lucias to grab her hands and pin them above her head, causing him to look at him in surprise.

"Oy! What are you doi-"

She tried to shouted but was cut off as Lucias suddenly kissed her neck, causing a tingling sensation to spread throughout her entire body.

Loud shouts and clashing of swords echoed throughout the entire territory of the guild as Mavis widened her eyes in shock to what she witnessed.

"DIE!!!"

A nearby guild member of the blue skulls shouted as he swung his sword at Mavis, causing her to shiver in fear as she closed her eyes.

"Ugh!!!!"

The man shouted as a sword suddenly pierced his chest from his back, causing his to spat out blood as Erza suddenly sliced him into two from his stomach up to his head.

"Let's go!! Don't just stand there!"

Erza shouted as she quickly pulled Mavis towards the forest to escape the bloody battlefield. Mavis on the otherhand just stared at her surroundings in shock before her eyes landed on a black haired little girl trapped below a collapsed building.

"ZERA!"

Mavis shouted as she got out of Erza's grip before quickly making her way to Zera, pulling her out of the piles of debri before running towards Erza.

"Let's go! If we stay here we'll get killed! Let's run!"

Mavis shouted as she pulled Zera who weakly stood up from the ground.

"LITTLE BITCH, YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!"

Five men shouted as they ran towards them while brandishing their swords, causing Mavis' complexion to pale as she hurriedly pulled Zera away.

"Di-"

They shouted but froze as they felt something thin slice their necks, causing them to fall on the ground as their heads fell behind their backs.

"It looks like we aren't too late"

"Mister!!"

Mavis shouted towards Lucias who came just in time and killed all of the 5 men with ease.

"Let's go"

Lucias said as he quickly healed Zera's wound before grabbing both of them in his arms.

"Where's Mordred?"

Erza asked in confusion as she didn't saw the familiar tomboyish girl who followed them in this dimension.

"... She's sick so she needed to sleep a bit more"
