Chapter 94: Lucias' Strength

"Then, can we take this conversation back at our place? The situation of the world isn't really that 'safe'"

Rimuru said towards Camael who stood in front of them with her arms crossed on her chest, giving off a cold and domineering aura as the other Ancient Angels arrived behind Camael.

"Not safe, you say? What happened while we were gone? Did the True God of this dimension finally acted up?"

She asked causing Rimuru to look at her in surprise as he never guessed that she could pinpoint it correctly.

"What? Don't tell me she really did it? Just because we were gone, she started acting arrogant? It looks like order in this world was lost along with us years ago. Tell me, what did she do?"

She asked with an intimidating frown on her face causing Rimuru to scratch his cheek in response.

"We're currently at war, against her and the other True Gods that she bought in this dimension"

Rimuru answered truthfully causing Camael's veins to buldge on her forehead due to anger and annoyance.

"Tch. Why are we the only dimension given an incompetent True God like her? For her to actually bring other Gods with her. Isn't she afraid thay the primordial being would lash out because of her actions?"

Camael said in a low tone, causing the primordial beings who were watching the scene to smile in response.

"Wow! She's very sharp, how did she know that we're involved in the war?"

Order said with a sweet smile on her face while Chaos sat down by her side with an interested expression on his face.

"We're the overseer of all the realms outside our own. It's a bit reasonable why she taught like that. Bringing True Gods to their own dimension would cause the fall of order and balance in that world. Normally, we could've just dealt with this easily but... she brought too many True Gods in the dimension. Dealing with them would cause major chaos in other dimensions. So we have to rely on father for this"

Void explained as the 'creator' nodded her head in agreement.

"What your sister said was true, especially now when I can't interfere too much due to 'their' interference. We have to rely on your father to deal with this situation since he is the only one capable of walking in the mortal realm with ease"

The 'creator' said as they all continued to watch the events in anticipation.

"So... Why did she suddenly started the war? I'm sure that she wasn't as unreasonable as starting a dimensional war over nothing"

Camael questioned ss he stared at the 5 people in front of her. Even though she felt a powerful presence coming from Rimuru, Ophis , amd Great Red. She didn't really knew anything about them since the Ophis and Great Red wasn't born during their time, and Rimuru didn't even belong to the dimension.

"Another True God ascended from this dimension, and it must be settled by blood since Xaosis' demands was far too much for our True God to fulfill"

"Another True God has been born while we were gone?"

Camael asked in shock as the Ascension of a True God wasn't that easy, unless they received external help from the primordial beings or the Origins themselves, but she knew that was impossible since those being never really associated themselves with the beings of other realms. 

But this was good news for them since they can finally replace the incompetent True Goddess that they had.

"It looks like the 'creator' is on our side... but dealing with several True Gods will be difficult even with out help"

She said causing Rimuru to smile confidently in response.

"We can deal with them. That's the reason why they still haven't made major movements yet, snd they had to rely on an army to eliminate us. The new True God has bought and raised the finest soldiers across dimension. So dealing with us wouldn't be easy. With your help, our military prowess could increase further in the war"

Rimuru said causing Camael to look at him in surprise.

"It looks like a lot of things have changed when we were all sealed in the void. Can you tell us all the details about everything that happened while we were sealed? It's a bit risky for us to move if we don't know our own environment"

"Sure! But let's go back first. It's a bit dangerous to stay her-"

He said said but was cut off as a loud and deep voice suddenly echoed in their direction, causing all of them to look at the source of the voice.

"My, you all have already delt with this beast? That's quite surprising"

The voice said as thousands of Gastreas suddenly surrounded their location, causing Rimuru to frown while Camael and the Ancient Angels frowned in response.

"That woman is insane if she brought this lunatic to our dimension"

Camael said causing Rimuru to glance at her direction.

"You know this guy?"

"That's the True God of Greed. We have chased him out of our dimension in the pasy everytime he trespass, but... it looks like it won't be easy dealing with him now"

Camael said as she noticed the incredible amount of power surging from his body, unlike the power that he contained millions of years ago before they were sealed.

"I'd like to thank you ladies for helping us capture this beast... then we'll be taking it now"

He said with a large grin on his face, causing the Gastreas around him to shriek in reponse as they immediately moved closer to their direction.

"Approximately... 100,000, huh?"

Camael said as the Ancient Angels behind her all readied their weapons as they formed a circular formation since the Gastreas surrounded them at all sides.

"At least we'll lose a few soldiers, but... we can win as long as we deal with that idiot"

Camael said as she pointed at the True God's direction, while Rimuru wore his mask on his face as he got ready to fight. 

"I can hold him off for a while, but I can't guarantee that I can win"

He said causing Camael to smile in response.

"We'll eliminated all of this insects at once so give us some time to deal with them. I'm aware that no mortal beings could defeat a True God like him"

She said as the ancient angels all summoned thousands of [Divine Lance] in the sky, to lower their numbers as much as possible before they fought them head on. Even though they were powerful, their numbers only numbered to 12,000 and against an army of 100,000 and a True God. The chances of them losing is very likely.

"Angels! In position!"

She shouted as a line of ancient angels suddenly walked in front of their own army.

"[Aegis]!"

All of them shouted in unison as a golden translucent shield suddenly appeared in front of them, creating a circular shield to the casters at the back of the formation.

"Kill as much as possible!! We have faced several situation like this years ago so I can trust that all of you already know what to do!"

"Hai!!"

All of them shouted in response as they all got ready for battle.

"Are we going to fight again?"

Ophis asked in a tired tone as Great Red clench her fist in anticipation while looking at the army in front of them.

"100,000 is still just a small number for us... but with that guy interefering, it will be hard to come out victorious"

Rimuru said as two dragon wings suddenly sprouted out of his back before flying above the sky.

"Kill them all!!"

The True God shouted as the army suddenly charged towards their direction, causing the Ancient angels to immediately fire their lances at them, causing the Gastreas who made contact with the lance to burn into ashes due.

"Keep firing!! If I see anyone of you slacking, I'll throw you in the frontlines, am I clear!?"

"Hai!"

All of the angels in the backline shouted as 10 of them suddenly lifted their wands up in the air, causing a ball of divine light to appear above the sky.

"[Radiance Light]!"

The angels shouted as concentrated beams of bright gold mana suddenly came out of the balls of light above them, manually moving it's direction around them as the Gasteas within a few kilometre radius around them was sliced to shred by the light.

"[Lightning Shower]"

Rimuru who was above the sky casted one of the spell taught to him by Lucias, causing the clouds to darken as black lighting rained down on the army of Gastreas.

Even with the large barrage of attacks from their enemies, the Gastreas kept charging without hesitation like they felt no pain nor fear, they only had one thing in my mind and that is to kill the army in front of them.

"Tch. This is why I hate fighting mindless enemies"

Camael said in irritation as she watched a Gastrea jump towards them, only to be killed by Rimuru's black lighting, causing his organs to splatter on the angels on the ground.

"Hmph!"

Gilgamesh hummed as thousands of magic staffs suddenly appeared above them, before firing concentrated beams of mana towards their enemies at all sides. Bursting many Gastreas at once while Enkidu created two giant stone walls at both sides before bringing them close together, squashing all of the Gastreas in between as their blood splashed on their side.

"[Domain Activation]"

The True God said as his mana suddenly expanded on the battlefield, causing all of the ancient angels and Rimuru to gasp in surprise as a weird sensation suddenly entered their bodies 

"Great sage, what's happening?"

[Answer: The domain of Greed has been activated, all beings inside will be affect and will lose a portion of their strength every second that last]

The voice of a woman explained inside his head, causing Rimuru to grit her teeth before charging towards the True God.

The True God who saw him fly towards him, grinned in response before creating a protective barrier around him.

"Your struggles are futile, slime"

The True God mocked with a large grin on his face but to his surprise, Rimuru stopped before coming into contant with his barrier and opened his palm behind him, targeting the thousands of Gastreas who chased him.

"[Gluttony]"

Rimuru said, causing ominous violet mana to come out of his palm and swallow the entire army behind him, creating a large dome of mana behind him as it slowly contracts, dissecting all of the Gastreas inside into individual matter as Rimuru suddenly felt a sudden rush of power enter his body.

[Skill: Quick Evolution has been acquired successfully]

The notification said as Rimuru suddenly got grabbed by the True God in front of him on his neck.

"Ugh-"

Rimuru said as she tried to activate his Gluttony skill but was cut off by the True God who spread his own mana on Rimuru's body.

"I'm going to have fun playing with you"

The True God said as Rimuru turned partly into slime before swallowing the True God's arm whole.

"Tch"

The True God clicked his tongue as he tried to pull him off, but failed as Rimuru started trying to digest his arm.

"You little! Get off me!!"

The True God shouted but Rimuru didn't stop as he suddenly injected his own mana into the arm, causing the mana in his arm to reach lethal levels.

"Shit!! Get the fuck off me!! [Stea-"

The True God shouted as he tried to cast [Steal Skill] on Rimuru to steal his skill [Gluttony] but was stopped as a powerful punch suddenly buried itself to his face, causing his entire head to crash to the ground at full force.

"Stealing from a slime like that... How utterly low of you, True God-san"

A familiar voice said with a large grin on his face, causing the True God to glare at his direction with his bloodied face.

"LUCIAS FREY!!"

The True God shouted in anger causing Lucias to step on his head at full force.

"I don't really like people shouting at me. [Domain Activation: Generousity]"

He casted, causing his own mana to expand around the battlefield as the domain of the True God from before suddenly collapsed due to the sudden intervention of the Domain of Virtue.

"Don't get too cocky, Lucias Frey!!"

He shouted as he tried to activate one of the powers of his domain to steal Lucias Frey's strength, causing his entire arm to burn with divine flame due to the backlash of casting the spell.

"ARGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! What did you do!?!?"

"Pfft- you're an idiot if you think you could use a spell under the sin of [Greed] in my presence. As long as nothing breaks my domain, you're skills are useless in front of me"

He said as he stomped his foot on his face, creating a massive crater on the ground before glancing at the Ancient Angels who were having a hard time fending off the remaining Gastreas.

"You did a great job, Rimuru"

He said as the [Bible] suddenly appeared on his arm before he activated [Heaven's Domain] to provide a boost to the Ancient Angels far from them.

"What...?"

Camael muttered as she suddenly felt a surge of warm light suddenly intrude her body, giving her a sense of excitement as the Angels around her suddenly entered a crazed mode due to the sudden increase in their strength.

"Someone is giving us strength!!! Kill them all while we have the chance!!!"

Camael shouted while Ophis and Great Red looked at them with a neutral expression on their faces, without helping them. Testing their strength to see whether or not they are worthy of serving their chosen mate.

They already felt Lucias' presence as soon as he entered their dimension, so they knew they already won once Lucias arrives.

"I thought you were busy?"

Rimuru asked as he let go of the True God's arm before jumping on Lucias' head in his slime form, causing Lucias to feel a cold but comfortable sensation on his head.

"I just got back when I suddenly heard that you guys tried fighting Trihexa. You guys are as reckless as ever"

Lucias said with a light smile on his face before crouching down at the True God below him.

"Thanks for being an idiot and attacked us like this, True God-san"

Lucias said as the True God suddenly actived a skill in desperation.

"[God's Eyes]"

He said as he tried to find a skill that he could steal from Lucias to save him from this predicament, but to his surprise his status was nothing like he expected.

He shouted since it was impossible for a being lower than a primordial being could have decieved the [God's Eyes] skill. Unless the person in front of him was several times stronger than he is now.

"Surprised?"

Lucias asked with a casual smile on his face before piercing his heart with his barehands.

"The True God of Greed... one of the weakest True Gods of Sins next to the True Goddess of Sloth... do you really think that someone like you could be on par with me?"

Lucias said as he pulled out his arm from his chest while the True God looked at him with widened eyes.

"The only people that could actually kill me is the True God of Wrath, Gluttony, and Pride. But I have to thank you for being reckless. At least now we have one less enemy to worry about"

Lucias said as he took out a crystal from the True God's chest that shone with brilliant and elegant light, containing high concentration of divine mana.

[Core of a True God has been obtained]

"Rimuru, go ahead and eat him"

He said causing the slime on his head to immediately jump down before expanding his gelatinous body, engulfing the entire body of the True God whole as the Great Sage's voice suddenly echoed in his head.

[Notice]

[Conditions have been met]

The Great Sage said as his strength suddenly left his body causing Lucias to grab her slime body in his arms.

[Ascension will now commence]

"Rimuru?"

Lucias called out but recieved no response from Rimuru, causing him to frown as he felt Rimuru's gelatinous body started to lose its firmness, making his body look like it was melting in his arms.

"I don't feel so good..."

Rimuru said as Ophis, Great Red, Enkidu, Gilgamesh, and the Ancient Angels arrived in front of him.

"You must be the new True God of this dimension"

Camael said as both Ophis and Great Red clung to his arms.

"Reward"

"I'll give you one later, alright? Let me just return Rimuru back to the headquarters"

Lucias said before glancing at Camael's direction.

"I believe that you already know about the situation in this dimension"

"Yes, I heard it from that slime in your arms"

Camael said as she pointed at Rimuru who was weakly cowering in Lucias' arms.

"Then, let's first return back to the faction... Azazel always wanted to meet you after all this years"

He said as a large portal suddenly appeared behind them while thousands of soldiers from the Forsaken Faction came out in an intimidating manner.

"You're late"

Lucias said to the dark skinned demon in front of the army with a large grin on his face.

"... Lucias? What are you doing here?"

Judgement asked in surprise as he noticed Lucias who was being sandwiched by the two legendary dragons of their faction.

"I just passed by here... Can you bring Rimuru to the ruby palace?"

He said as he placed Rimuru in Judgement's arm, causing her to look at him with a weird expression on her face.

"So... Where's Trihexa?"

He asked while searching around the place before his eyes landed on top of a seven-headed beast who was staring at him with extreme interest visible in its eyes.

"..."

"What's wrong, Lucias?"

Ophis asked while looking at Lucias who was staring at Trihexa with a slight frown on his face.

"I don't know... That look that it's giving me... It reminds me of the first time I met you two... It's giving me the chills"

"???" (Ophis & Great Red)

"That idiot died"

Xaosis said in a neutral tone like she couldn't careless about her ally's death.

"We warned him not to interfere with Lucias Frey too much until we stabilized our forces. He brought this to himself... but Lucias Frey's growth is astonishing. Ah! It makes me more interested in him!"

Brigyn, the True Goddess of Wrath, said with an obsessed expression on her face, remembering the last time that she met Lucias. Even though Lucias at that time was weak, he had an unexplainable charm to him that attracted not only Xaosis, but also her when she never took interest to any other male beings.

"Hmph! An insect like him deserved to die, he will only ruin our plans if we let him stay any longer"

A black haired youth with pale golden eyes, and an extremely handsome features, wearing loose clothes that barely hid his figure.

"Why do I have to do something as troublesome as going to war? Can I quit?"

A cute gothic lolita said in a tired voice as she lazily stretched her body on the sofa, enough to entice all other beings that look at her to become as carefree and lazy as her.

"Don't be too lazy, Omona"

A blond haired woman with extremely sharp features wearing a queen like outfit that complimented her cold nature, said causing Omona, the True Goddess of Sloth, to pout in response.

"So what's our next plan?"

She asked Xaosis who sat down next to Brigyn.

"We wait... We have no choice but to wait. Since 'they' are interefering... We just need to strengthen our forces in the meantime until the war... That's why don't even think of committing the same mistake as that idiot"

Xaosis warned as she glared at both Omona and a Demonic True God who has extremely pale skin and black sclera with dark-blue pupils, giving off a chilling vibr around him like he would kill anyone who got close to him.

"Don't lump me in with you, Xaosis"

The demon said in a cold and low voice before completely ignoring the rest of them.

"I heard that he has been searching for something in different dimensions, shouldn't we interfere?"

Enir asked causing the demon True God to immediately glare at his direction.

"Nobody touch him, I'll be the one to fight him once he attains a certain extent of his strength... Let him grow, it's much more entertaining like that"

He said causing Enir to angrily frown at his direction.

"Don't order me around, Velos"

He said in a threatening tone as they both stared at each other while their aura spread through the entire building that they were on.

"Don't interefere with my work, Enir. Or I'll kill you myself"

-With Lucias-

"Asia"

Lucias called as soon as he entered Asia's office, causing Asia to beam a sweet smile on her face as she immediately jumped in his arms.

"Lucias~"

Asia said as she suddenly kissed him by his lips, causing Lucias to hug her back in response.

"Why did you suddenly come and see me?"

She asked as Lucias sat down on the sofa, placing her body on top of his lap.

"I just wanted to visit my fiancée"

Lucias said as he placed his hand around her thin waist, causing Asia to smile mischievously in response.

"Hmm? Is this thing hungry, Lucias?"

She said as she placed her hand on top of his crotch, before placing her hands inside his pants.

"... It is but... maybe that could wait for tonight"

He said before giving Asia one last kiss on her lips, causing her to obediently sit down on his lap.

"Lucias, I have a favour to ask you"

Asia suddenly said as Lucias buried his face between her breasts, causing her soft fragrance to assault his nose.

"What is it?"

"I need you to open a dimensional rift"

Asia said as she slowly caressed the back of his head with a gentle expression on her face.

"Where?"

"To the dimension that I first entered in the past... I'm planning on gathering more dragons for our faction.. And that is the only dimension that I've ever been to that I know has a lot of those"

Asia answered while Lucias just buried his head on her chest, trying to relieve the stress that has accumulated in the past few days while collecting the runes. Unlike them who only haven't met him for 2-4 days, Lucias haven't met them for an 2 entire month. He spent more than a month and a half in the first dimension that he went to to gather the rune, since he needed to consider the True Gods acting in that dimension. He spent a month studying everything before he finally made his move when he knew that no one there could stop him. 

He was always with his fiancée day and night in the past so not seeing them for a few months was foreign to him.

"Sure, I'll be going to that dimension as well with Erza to find 3 runes... but it looks like we're going to seperate realities"

He said causing Asia to look at him in curiosity.

"You'll be inviting the dragons, and that would severely alter the future. I need to pull a few strings to pull someone on our side, and that could affect my plan"

He said causing Asia to smile at his direction.

"Then do your best, I'll support you as much as I can once I'm done"

She said as the report from her subordinates from before suddenly came to mind.

"What did you do with the Apocalyptic Beasts?"

She asked out of curiosity, causing a weird expression to surface on Lucias' face.

"... She joined us but... I don't really understand what is going on inside of their minds"
