Chapter 7: Recapturing Greenland (2)

"This is taking forever..."

Lucias said in a bored tone while looking at the demons who were doing their best defending the walls of their camp.

"This pigs are putting up a great fight, don't they master?"

Boabab Sith said with a large smirk on her face. Making Lucias smile wryly before looking at the top of the walls.

"Don't do anything reckless"

The 'creator' warned like she could guess what Lucias was planning, causing him to grin in response.

"I know what I'm doing"

Lucias said before summoning a sharp and thin katana in his right hand. Making the soldiers around him to look at his direction.

"Tell my fiancées that I'm tired of playing it safe"

He said causing one of the lieutenant to frown as he tried to stop Lucias in doing whatever he was planning.

"I'm the strongest piece that we have and I'm sitting here without doing anything... Not very efficient. If this continues we'll run out of ammunition and mana potions"

He said with a light grin on his face before charging at the walls of the base at full speed. Making all of the demons on the walls focus their fire on his direction.

"[Reflect]"

Lucias casted as he swung his Katana in the air before the spells and arrows even made it to his direction. Reflecting them back to the demons at the walls.

"Ack-"

One of the demon said as he was pierced by his own arrows to his throat. As numerous bodies suddenly fell down on the wall, dead and was killed by their own attacks.

"[Unseal]"

He said causing all of the rings on his finger to break into pieces. Starting to run up the walls at full speed while deflecting all projectiles fired at his direction.

"H-HIS COMING CLOSER!!! SOLDIERS GET ON THE EDGE AND KEEP HIM FROM GETTING IN!!!"

One of the demon commanders said as his soldiers immediately blocked all entry from the wall. Making Lucias grin as he suddenly placed his katana on his left shoulder.

"[Enchance Sharpness]"

He said causing the Katana to illuminate before he arrived at the edge of the wall.

"PUSH HIM!"

The commander said. Making all of the soldiers at the walls ready their shields to push him off. 

"[Enhance Acceleration]"

Lucias said, causing his figure to dissapear within the soldier's eyes. Capturing them by surprise.

"W-Where is he!?"

The commander shouted before hearing his 3 soldiers guarding the wall, growl in pain as they got sliced in half by a sharp blade. Along with their armor and shield.

"It looks like I rusted for a bit"

Lucias muttered as he suddenly appeared standing on top of the wall. Smiling at the soldiers who all felt extreme fear run down their bodies as they could recognize his figure.

"L-Lucias-"

One of the soldier shouted but was immediately cut off by Lucias who cleanly sliced his head off his body.

"G-Gather all of the forces and kill him!!"

He shouted as Lucias took a stance. Placing his sword at the side of his face while stepping his foot forward. Preparing to kill as many demon as he can.

"ARGHHH!!!!"

The demon soldiers shouted as they all charged towards Lucias on the wall. Making him smile before quickly dissapearing from his place. 

Charging towards the large group of demons in front of him with his blade. Slicing several demons to pieces as their blood sprayed to the air. 

"S-Stop-"

The demon commanders shouted but was stabbed by Lucias through his third eye. He then adjusted the grip on his katana before swinging it to the side. Slicing the commander's head as Lucias cleanly sliced through the forhead of another demon by his side. 

"DIE!!!!"

A demon shouted as he swung his sword towards Lucias. Making Lucias quickly move his body to the side in a casual manner before swinging his sword towards the demon's opening. Slicing him into two through his crotch, and up to his head.

"Attack him all at once!!!"

One of the demons shouted as they charged towards Lucias with their weapons raised in the air.

"Restia"

[On it]

Restia said as large scythe suddenly appeared in Lucias arm, making the charging soldier's complexion to change.

"[Reap]"

He said as he swung his scythe around him. Slicing all of th charging soldiers who got close to him into two.

"M-Monster"

One of the soldier said as he watched Lucias continuously kill all of the demons on the walls with relative ease. As the blood of the demons completely drenched the floor below them.

"It's been a while since I had this much fun"

Lucias muttered with a light smile on his face as he shifted his body to the side to dodge an arrow from his back. Making the arrow pierce through the head of a demon in front of him instead.

"Be careful where you shoot"

Lucias said as he grabbed the arrow in the demon's head and threw it at full force towards the archer at the back. Accurately piercing the third eye on its head.

"My~ This is quite a show~"

Baobhan Sith said with a large smirk on her face as they all watched bodies dropping off the wall at a continuous phase. Most of them were calm while the human soldiers of Greenland watched the scene in shock. Since Lucias never directly participated in any battles. That is why his power wasn't often demonstrated to the human faction.

"[Enhancement: Hellfire]"

Lucias casted, causing black flames to cover the blades of the scythe as he kicked a demon away from him at full force. Crushing it's skull before Lucias suddenly swung his scythe around him. Releasing jet black flames to his surroundings that engulfed all of the demons at the front.

"ARGHHHHHHH!!! H-HELP ME-"

A demon shouted as he felt the scorching heat burned his skin and muscles to crisp. Hurriedly running to the back as their body fell on their allies. Making the black flames spread throughout the demon soldiers at the wall.

"[C-Create Water]"

One of the mages said as they tried to kill the fire, but failed as the fire kept burning as long as the demon's body remained.

"W-What is this flame-"

He said as the fire touched his skin, causing him to pale as the fire quickly spread throughout his body.

Screams of pain and terror echoed up in the walls as Lucias continuously killed as many demons as he can while their blood showered his entire body. Making all of the demons at the wall to look at him in fear.

"Restia"

He said causing the scythe in his hand to transform into a gigantic hammer that was twice his size.

"[Destructive Enhancement]"

He said causing his mana to engulf the head of the hammer before he smashed it to the wall. Creating several cracks on the walls before it quick collapsed. 

"ADVANCE!!!"

The alliance's soldiers shouted as soon as they saw that Lucias created a path for them to enter. Charging towards the city while Lucias dropped to the ground on his knees. 

"Lucias Frey!!!"

The duke shouted in anger as he watched his defenses collapse entirely. Staring at Lucias with a murderous expression on his face.

"People from your army really like shouting my name"

He said before throwing the hammer in his hand towards the duke, causing him to frown as he shifted his body to the side.

"Just you wait until reinforcements arrive here!!!"

He shouted causing Lucias to chuckle in response as Est materialised as a sword in his right hand.

"Wait for them as long as you wish"

-In the Atlantic Ocean-

"500 Gastreas at 3 o'clock"

A pilot of a Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jet said causing the 10 other fighter jets behind him to open fire at the Gastreas at the sky. Killing dozens of them in an instant as their bodies fell to the ocean water.

Suddenly hundreds of highly pressurised water fired at their direction, causing them to quickly respond by splitting up to not get caught up in the fire of the enemy.

"We have a Tier V Gastrea below us. Be careful, and don't get too close to the water"

A pilot said over the radio as they quickly manuevered through the hundreds of water bullets firing at their direction.

"This fucking humans are ruining our plan!"

A demon riding on top of a large deformed Gastrea floating on the sea, cursed while staring at the hundreds of fighter jets wiping out their air forced with ease.

"Shit!! If we only have that kind of technology"

He said before 8 gigantic tentacles suddenly came out of the ocean and started to engulf the entire aquatic gastrea he was standing on. Making him panic as the tentacles started to pull the Gastrea underwater where many Sirens from the Forsaken Faction are on standby.

"What the hell is that?"

One of the pilot said as he watched the gigantic tentacles slowly pull the Gastrea underwater.

"That's a Kraken, and it's on our side so don't worry. They're much more efficient in taking care of those monsters than us"

A veteran pilot assured as he fired a mana-imbued missle to a Tier III Dragonfly Gastrea flying at them at incredible speed. Creating a small explosion as it's body splattered on the ocean floor as they fell from the sky.

"Focus fire on the weaker Gastreas... The dragons will take care of the stronger ones for us"

He said before a large fire dragon suddenly descended down the sky and landed on top of a Tier IV Gastrea on the sea. Biting it's head off before firing scorching heat from it's mouth inside of it's wound. Burning the Gastrea from the inside as the Dragon flew up once again to search for another prey.

"CAPTAIN!! WE HAVE 12 TIER IV GASTREAS COMING OUR TOWARDS THE SHIP!!!"

A Nemo Marine shouted as they quickly manuevered towards the cruise containing the supplies to be delivered to North America. All while 12 Destroyers at its side open fired at the Gastreas charging towards the cruise ship. 

"Prepare the torpedo!!"

Nemo shouted towards his crew while several other submarines around her did the same. Protecting the cruise at all cost since the supplies it contains is crucial in defending North America from getting taken over.

"Fire!!"

Nemo shouted causing his submarine to shift towards the Gastrea before firing a single Torpedo at it's direction. Causing a small explosion to occur underwater as the Gastrea had the lower half of it's body blown to pieces.

"Again! Prepare the torpedos!"

He shouted causing his crew to load another torpedo as the submarines around him finally fired their own. Completely blocking the high tier Gastreas from coming close while the destroyers all kept the lower tier ones at bay. 

Colouring the ocean with their blood while several pieces of fallen ships floated on the ocean surface. Indicating how long and intense they fought just to deliver the supplies to the base in North America.

"Fire!!"

Nemo shouted causing his submarine to fire another Torpedo towards an enclosing Gastrea. Blowing a large hole on its stomach as the fighter jets in the sky dropped a missle on top of it to finish it off. 

The Gastreas all shrieked as they desperately tried to get close to the cruise as ordered, but couldn't as the alliance made sure to protect the cruise in both the ocean and in the air. 

"Where the hell is Queen!? She was supposed to shut off the dimensional rift here long ago!"

Nemo loudly stated in anger causing all of his crew to try and contact Queen but recieved no response. 

"A lot of tier V Gastreas are guarding the dimensional rift. Maybe that's why she hasn't responded yet"

-with Queen-

"Group 1! Move to it's left, group 2 to the right!!!"

Queen shouted as she let the tier V shark type Gastreas chase after her while her subordinates surrounded it. Aiming their tridents at the body of the Gastrea.

"STAB IT!!"

She shouted causing all of the Sirens to quickly stabbed their tridents in the Gastrea, causing it's blood to litter the water of the ocean before it started shriek in pain. 

"Aim for it's gills!!"

The queen shouted causing the Sirens at the sides of the shark to stab their tridents inside the shark gills as soon as they saw an opening. 

Making the Shark Type Gastrea to howl in pain as it squirmed it's body underwater, causing the tridents to stab deeper inside it's body. Struggling for several minutes before it stopped moving and lifelessly fell on the ocean floor, causing the Sirens to sigh in relief.

"Now! Immediately swim towards the dimensional rift before another Gastrea comes out!!"
