Chapter 16: Riser Phenex

"... Well... The way they try to calm me down is... unique"

Lucias muttered as both Mira and Asia hugged his body naked while a dried white liquid is visible on both of their entrances.

"What time is it?"

Lucias muttered as he tried to get from the bed, causing the two naked girls by his side to wake up from the deep sleep from his sudden movements.

"... I'm sorry about last night"

Lucias gently caressed both of their head as they try to sober up while they felt a slight uncomfortable feeling coming from their hips and waist.

"It seems like the [Gamer's Mind] isn't able to contain your emotions anymore, Lucias"

The 'creator''s voice echoed inside his mind as he got from the bed, kissing both of their cheeks with a gentle smile on his face before healing the aching pain that they feel in their body.

"*Sigh*... I need to summon more servants to watch over them... They're getting bolder as time passes, I don't want this incident to happen again"

Lucias muttered to himself as he entered the bathroom to wash his face as another notification appeared in front of him as he stood in front of the large mirror of their bathroom.

"It seems like everyone is worried about you, Lucias... Anger will only lead you in creating severe decisions, so I hope you can contain such emotions in the future... Don't be too over protective, they can protect themselves, Lucias"

The 'creator' warned causing Lucias to pour cold water on his head to calm himself down.

"... I guess you're right... I've been making decision based on my emotions in the past few days"

Lucias said as he felt two naked bodies hugged him from behind causing him to immediately raise his head up to the mirror to see both Asia and Mira, looking at him with a worried expression on their faces.

"Are you alright, Lucias?"

Asia asked as she hugged his naked body with hers, staring at him in worry.

"I'm fine... Sorry for making you worry about me... and I'm sorry for acting reckless last night"

Lucias said as he patted her head with a light smile on his face.

"It's alright, I know you got angry for my sake, but please don't put yourself in danger next time because of your anger, alright?"

"Sure"

Lucias nodded causing both of the girls to brightly smile at him before all 3 of them went inside the bathroom to wash off the strange scents on their body because of their activities last night.

"Let's go"

"... Where's my treats?"

Koneko asked as soon as Lucias arrived inside their clubroom while stretching out her hands while Issei glared at them with envy visible in his eyes.

"Don't stare at me like that... maybe you can find a girl that will love you... despite your perversion"

Lucias said as he carried Koneko towards the sofa before giving her a large batch of snacks from his inventory.

"So... care to tell me why everyone is gathered here?"

Lucias asked as he stared at the red headed woman crossing her legs while sitting on top of her desk with a frustrated expression on his face.

"... Where is your house?"

Rias suddenly asked causing Lucias to look at her with a weird expression on his face.

"Are you going to stalk me, Gremory?"

"No..."

She averted her eyes from him with irritation visible in her expression causing his eyes to twitch as he read her past memories through the [Eyes of God], and her purpose for trying to find his house.

'Well, even if she teleports to my house, I don't think she'll stay long if she sees what I was doing with both Mira and Asia last night'

Lucias thought with a large frown on his face while patting Koneko on the head, spoiling her like what he did to Kuroka and Cerberus in the past.

"What are you guys talking about?"

Issei asked in confusion, not understanding their conversation while looking at the frowning expressions of Kiba, Akeno, and Rias.

"..."

Suddenly a large violet colored teleportation magic circle appeared in the middle of the room, causing Lucias to frown from the familiar emblem of the magic circle.

"Lucifuge"

Lucias muttered as a beautiful young woman appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down which ends in twin braids and silver eyes.

"Rias-oujosama"

The woman bowed in front of Rias while Issei stared at her body in a daze as a nasty smile formed on his face.

"... Issei..."

Lucias muttered as he sighed in helplessness before feeling the gaze of the silver haired maid plastered on his body.

"What?"

Lucias asked while feeding the Nekoshou in his arms with the treats he bought from the stores close to the school.

"Who may you be?"

The woman asked in an emotionless voice while frowning for having a human like him hanging out with her sister-in-law's peerage.

"It's common courtesy for someone to introduce themselves first before asking for someone's name"

Lucias said, ignoring the shocked gazes that Akeno, Kiba, and Rias gave him as Koneko looked at him with a worried expression on her face.

"..."

The woman stared at him, trying to identify his true identity but no one in his memory have the same features as him except for the description given by Lord Phenex about the appearance of the Faction Leader of the Forsaken Faction, but threw it at the back of her head since it was impossible for a figure like him to be at a small city like Kuoh.

"Tell me your name human"

The woman stared releasing her aura to try and pressure Lucias, ordering him to tell her his name, but to her surprise her aura didn't even fazed him at all.

"Hmm... I don't really like when someone other than my fiancée orders me around"

Lucias smiled at her before releasing his own aura with precise control to not affect the Nekoshou in his embrace.

"..."

The woman looked at him in shock as she felt her own aura easily getting pushed back by him, causing her to quickly raise her guard as she stared at him with caution.

"Will you introduce yourself now?"

Lucias asked with a light smile on his face unlike the chaotic aura he released towards Grayfia.

"... Grayfia Lucifuge"

She introduced as she fixed her posture to try and appear to be more respectful, fully knowing that he is strong enough to wipe all of the devils inside the building in his own at ease.

"I'm Lucias Frey, I hope we GET along, Grayfia"

Lucias introduced as he retracted his aura back to his body from seeing her attitude immediately switch.

'Its been 8 years since I last saw you... and that is when we let Iris see her own family... but... I guess I understand Sirzechs Gremory's reason for remarrying... as a father myself'

Lucias thought, knowing the real reason why he remarried to his childhood friend, Grayfia.

He only wanted for his son Milicas to grow up a mother figure by his side, to create a warm family for the boy.

'but... that doesn't mean I'll help you regain your relationship with her, Sirzechs. Since you completely erased Iris' existence from your son's life'

Lucias thought before gazing at the confused Issei, staring at their interactions in confusion.

"What's going on, Buchou?"

"... The truth is-"

She tried to explain but was cut off as a small magic circle appeared on the ground causing Issei to back off from the extreme heat coming from the magic circle as sparks of flames occasionally came out of the magic circle.

"W-what" (Issei)

"Phenex"

Kiba said with a frown as he stared at the magic circle inside the room while Lucias immediately smiled from recognizing the emblem of the magic circle on the floor.

A familiar silhouette of man appeared in the middle of the magic circle, swinging his arms to the side causing the flames to dissapear.

"Fuu, it's been a while since Riser came to the human's world"

A handsome man with yellow haired and a sharp look befitting of that of a wild type stood tall inside the room with his hands in his pockets, but froze when he saw Lucias inside the room.

Lucias placed his finger on his lips, signalling for him to be quite about his identity causing him to look at him in confusion for trying to hide such a title in the dark.

"Ahem... My lovely Rias, I came to see you"

He said with a large smirk on his face as he walked closer to Rias to kiss the back of her hand.

[Frustrated]

[Disappointed]

"Pfft-"

Lucias tried to resist laughing at him causing the people to look at him with a strange expression on their face while Riser gazed at him from embarrassment as he knew that he can read other people's emotions with his eyes.

"Don't mind me, continue what you were doing"

Lucias said with an amused smile on his face as he watched Rias ignore his approaches with half closed eyes.

"Now then, Rias. Let's go and take a look at the ceremony hall. The date of the ceremony is decided so we need to check it before then"

Riser tried to divert the topic as he continued his acting to appear as a frivolous act as he intimately walked closer to Rias with a large smirk on his face.

"...Let go of me, Raiser"

Rias said in a deep and serious voice as she glared at him in disgust while Issei angrily stood up from the sofa while pointing his finger at Riser.

"Hey, you. You are being rude to Buchou. Actually, what's with that attitude towards a girl?"

'I don't want to hear that from you, Issei'

Lucias thought as he watched the events unfold in front of him in amusement while Grayfia continued to intensely stare at his direction much to his dismay.

"Ah? Who are you?"

Riser asked in a displeased voice as he glared at Issei causing him to stiffen in his place from his glare, but worked up the courage to answer back at him.

"I am the servant Devil of Rias Gremory-sama! I'm the [Pawn], Hyoudou Issei"

He said with a prideful smile on his face like he just accomplished an incredible feat.

"Hmm... okay"

Riser responded in a dull manner, not caring about his existence anymore as he continued to stare at Rias by his side causing Issei to look at him with a dumbfounded expression on his face from his lack of reaction.

"who the heck are you?"

"Oh? Rias, you haven't mentioned me to your servants? I mean, are there guys who don't know me? A reincarnated Devil?"

Riser asked as he gazed at the red headed woman with surprise visible in his eyes.

"I didn't tell them because there was no need"

Rias coldly answered while pushing his body away from her.

"Oh my, harsh like always. Hahahahaha..."

Riser started laughing, confusing Lucias on why he is trying so hard to make her disgusted of him.

'... What the hell is this guys thinking?'

Lucias looked at him directly in his eyes to read his memory, and was caught by surprise from what Lord Phenex told his son before he came here.

'If you're unhappy with the engagement then just say so... we won't force you to go through with this... that's why... I won't get angry if you lose to her on this rating game, we can use this as an opportunity to break the engagement without causing a strain in the relationship between our clans... I can easily control the effects brought by your lose... So be happy, Riser'

Lord Phenex said to his son with a fatherly smile on his face as he patted Riser's shoulder.

'No, Riser will fight her fair and square... but Riser can make Rias push herself to get stronger'

"A rating game?"

Lucias muttered as he returned back to his senses as Koneko who was in arms snuggled up to his chest as Grayfia explained the current situation between Riser and Rias.

"This person is Raiser Phenex-sama. He's a pure-blood High-class Devil, and the third son of the House of Phoenix"

Grayfia introduced, causing Issei to nod his head in understanding as he tried to figure out on his own on what is the relationship between the two of them with a frustrated expression on his face.

"And he is the husband of the next heiress of the House of Gremory"

Grayfia said causing Issei to fall down in his seat in shock as he stared at Riser with wide eyes.

'Hearing it directly really puts a bad taste in my mouth'

Lucias muttered before glancing at the window above Riser's head with a grin. Despite the large smirk plastered on his face deep inside he was feeling a large stir of negative emotions deep inside him.

"And he is the husband of the next heiress of the House of Gremory"
