Chapter 175: Course Reversal

It was Akuma's turn to take the podium and make his speech. He stared at the podium for a moment from behind the stage before he walked toward it. He made slow but firm strides until he reached the podium and faced toward the whole student body.

Akuma scanned the seated students without specifically looking for someone. He saw that their gazes were affixed on him and patiently waited for him to speak.

As he looked around, he coincidentally saw the faces of Sanaka, Mimi and Kiba. He remembered that he hadn't seen them in a while.

Various things flashed through his mind. Akuma remembered when he first talked to Sanaka and how troublesome she was. He also remembered how surprised he was when Mimi destroyed the ace of the Kyudo club in a match that allowed her to join the Help club. Finally, he remembered how hard everyone worked in the bakery so that Kiba could also join them in the club.
