A bright brown light appeared where the slime was standing. A weird feeling rushed, coursing throughout my whole body. The slime started emanating a golden-brown light. Suddenly, I felt how the slime and I were connected. I felt no resistant at all, yet I know slimes are lowly weak creatures. Suddenly, I felt a feeling of indigence coursing throughout me. My gaze moved to the slime that seemed deeply wounded. Did he hear what I thought? Oh, right and the other skill, messenger. I'm able to communicate with my subordinates. Meanwhile, I had to find a way to make the little slime happy again because apparently, I hurt its feelings.

"Hey little slime, please don't be mad. I didn't know you could hear me."

The slime looked at me with an even more wounded and exasperated look. Apparently, I said something even worst, who would've thought I would be trying to make amends with a small little weak slime. As I was thinking in my head, my train of thought got interrupted by a splash of water. I looked at the slime with an annoyed look since the water was shot by him. I started thinking of leaving the slime and breaking the contract. All of a sudden, a voice interrupted me.

"Subordinate has learned the Common Skill Water Shot"

The slime seemed startled by the sudden voice but then he got closer to the spring. The slime started absorbing all the water as much as it could. When I saw him shooting water at a large rock, an idea pop in my head and the slime seemed to know what it was. He stopped shooting water at the rock and started approaching me, with what seemed to be an impression of puppy dog eyes. For a moment, the slime reminded me of how Valerio would do the same when he wanted something. I don't know if it was my melancholy, but I had decide to help the slime become stronger just as Rimuru was.

"Speaking of Rimuru, I must give you a name little one." Right after I said that. The slime decided to grace me with a splash of water.

"So that's what bothers you, for someone to belittle you? Ok, I know what name to give you. Your name will be… Itzumi. You can say your name has more than one meaning from what I've read. It can be translated to spring or strong warrior who protects their loved ones and hold immense power."

Suddenly, I started feeling how my magiculs started depleting. This is how mother felt every time she created a primordial. I started to stumble until I fell on my knees. At the same time, I felt how Itzumi grew strength. Our connection got even stronger, I could feel and see how he saw the world which apparently, he was special in a way. He had already acquired the magic sense and some other skills. It's time to see what would happen if I shared my skills with his.

Itzumi was ecstatic by knowing he had gained a new skill. If the skill system worked as it does in the manga or anime, I shouldn't have much trouble becoming a god. In this new life, I have to be able to accomplish what I wasn't able to do in my past life. There was nothing I wanted more than to have Valerio and Amia by my side. But for now, I have to keep going and find a way to level up. I had no weapons and had no idea if killing a creature actually helps you level up.

An hour had just passed, and I still had no clue on what to do. A cat-like creature started walking towards us with a fierce look. The creature wasn't that big and actually it looked kind of cute. That's when I noticed a purple menacing glow on its paws where the claws are supposed to be. It looked to be less than a year old, it resembled a small tiger, but it was different. He was all white fur with black spots and crystal blue eyes. It was a majestic creature, if only I could tame him. Cold shivers ran down my spine, I know it's a world of survival of the fittest. Suddenly, the tiger jumped towards Itzumi, trying to scratch him, but he's a slime. Physical attacks don't work on him. The tiger kept trying to get him, scratching left and right nonstop. A voice spoke in my head.

"Itzumi has acquired [Common Skill Poison Resistance] because host has the [Common Skill Solaxulos] this skill will combined the [Common Skill Poison Resistance] and the [Common Skill Water Gun] to create the new skill [Common Skill Poison Shot]."

Itzumi started firing the Skill Poison Shot at the tiger, but it wasn't doing any effect to it. I saw how the tiger kept pushing Itzumi back with every strike he received. I started getting an overwhelming feeling thinking that itzumi might not win. It made me remember his failed impression of puppy dog eyes which reminded me of Valerio. When my hands started glowing, a purple almost black color and some words came out without me being able to control it.

"[Unique Skill Epta Ark, Anubis's Judgement!]"

The tiger made a horrified look when the words came out of my mouth. A tall shadow that resembled a humanoid wolf-like figure with a beautiful golden staff and gold arm, wrist, and ankle bracelets appeared next to me and vowed at me in respect. Then stood up and looked at the tiger with an overwhelming aura. He said something I wasn't able to make out, the tiger started screeching in pain. When for a moment, all you could hear was a snapping sound that sounded like if someone were breaking thick pieces of sticks underwater. The tiger Contorted his body like a pretzel. I couldn't believe my eyes, did I just do that. Just like that, the tiger had died, thanks to the skills mother gave me.

When I turned to look at the shadow, it had a sinister look. He walked to the tiger's body and got on one knee. He touched the tiger's chest with his palm and raised it. A violet blueish color came out of the tiger like if it were smoke getting sucked out. He directed the smoke to the golden staff, the smoke just went inside it. While the staff started glowing as it sucked the violet blueish smoke, he seemed pleased with his results. He turned to look at me and got up. He bowed at me, and the black ominous smoke dissipated. He was gone in mere seconds and a wiry feeling came over me. It felt just like when I had named Itzumi, I must be low in magiculs. When Itzumi saw my state, he rush towards me as fast as he could. It didn't take long for him to see why I was about to lose conscious. Suddenly, I felt someone dragging me from my feet. I kept thinking, where is he taking me? Why doesn't he just leave me here?

Everything turned black. Then, I felt how a bitter liquid entered my mouth. It was as bitter as chewing a whole lemon. Suddenly, a rush of energy rushed through my body. I started coughing from the horrible flavor. Once I was able to compose myself, I see we're in a cave. The cave had a gloomy feeling. The entrance of the cave was covered by a waterfall. Then, I hear a kid-like voice.

"Are you feeling any better or should I give you more hipokute herb tea" Itzumi asked worriedly.

"No, no, I'm feeling much better Itzumi. Thank you for taking care of me"

"No need to thank me. It's my obligation as your subordinate, you're my master."

"No, no, well yes, you're partially right. You're my subordinate but you're also more than that. Just as I saved you because I care for you, and as you did for same.
