Chapter Thirty-Six: This Is Going to Be Unpleasant
A tall, white-haired man appeared on the garrison wall of the camp in the fading light of evening. The walls were unmanned, and as such, no one's eyes were watching as the stealthy figure eased its way along the barricade until it found a clear spot to leap down. It was meant to be the graceful drop of a Kungfu master, landing lightly on the balls of his feet, however, the camp yard was still muddy and slick from the recent rains, and when his boots hit the ground, his feet slipped out from under him, and he fell backward heavily onto his rear with a grunt.
