Chapter 44: Blood Water

It was a typical Friday morning at Good Hills High School on 14th February 1997. The hallways were buzzing with students, and the classrooms were filled with the sound of shuffling papers and scraping pencils. But little did anyone know that this day would be etched in their memories forever.

As the morning progressed, the students started to notice something strange. The water from the taps in the bathroom had turned a deep crimson red. At first, they thought it was a prank, but as the day wore on, the blood continued to flow, and the students began to worry. The teachers called for an emergency meeting, and soon everyone was informed that the body of the student council president, Hiroshi Nakamura, had been found in the bathroom with his throat slit.

The entire school was in a state of shock, and rumors started to spread like wildfire. Some students whispered about a dark ritual that Hiroshi had been involved in, while others speculated that it was a murder committed by a jealous rival. But as the days turned into weeks and the investigation dragged on, no one was any closer to finding the truth.

Four years later, Hiroshi's younger sister, Emiko, started attending Good Hills High School. She was a timid girl, but her determination to uncover the truth about her brother's death drove her to join the student council. However, as she walked through the hallways, she felt a chilling presence that seemed to follow her everywhere.

At first, Emiko tried to brush it off as her imagination, but soon the sightings became more frequent. Late at night, she would hear whispers in the dark, and when she turned on the lights, she would see drops of blood on the walls. But the most terrifying experience was when she went to wash her hands in the bathroom and found that the tap was spewing out thick, red blood.

Emiko was convinced that her brother's ghost was haunting her. She tried to tell the other members of the student council, but they dismissed her claims as absurd. She was forced to face the horrors alone, and as the days went by, her fear grew stronger.

Then one night, as Emiko was walking home from school, she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around, but there was no one there. The footsteps grew louder, and suddenly she saw a shadowy figure emerge from the darkness. It was Hiroshi's ghost, his eyes glowing red, his throat slit, and blood pouring from his mouth. Emiko screamed, but no one came to her aid.

From that day on, Emiko stopped going to school. She was too afraid to face her brother's ghost again. Eventually, her parents had no choice but to move her to a different city, and Good Hills High School became a place of fear and dread. The taps no longer ran red, but the memory of Hiroshi's murder lingered on, a dark stain on the school's history that no one could ever forget.
