I laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling.
/"What the hell are you doing?/" Gabe asked me.
/"I’m telling Mom you swore./"
/"Go ahead, and I’ll tell her that you put salt in the sugar bowl./"
I rolled my eyes at Gabe and sat up. He walked over and sat down on my bed.
/"I can’t believe Deacon left for the entire summer. Who else will I harass?/"
/"Do you miss Deacon or someone else?/" Gabe smirked.
/"I don’t know what you mean./"
/"Uh, huh./"
I shoved Gabe’s arm as he laughed.
/"I’m twelve. Dad would flip if he knew I had a crush on Elias./"
/"Tori crushes fade. Elias is four years older than you. Plus, you’re a dork, so who would like you?/" Gabe shrugged.
