1. Beginning

I was born in 1750 at the country of Anticara, to the south of eastern sea. My father wanted me to become trader but it was not my cup of tea. I wanted to see the ocean, I wished to become a sailor. In 1768,when I was just 18. I sailed for the first time. At that time, some ruthless sea killers and robbers emerged as pirates. Pirates, at that time were every sailors nightmare. As a result, many sailors stopped their sea trade and unemployment increased. But some sailors raised their voice against this and continued their trade. And the ship that I boarded had such a captain, his name was Charles. His ships name was 'Crusading in Deadly water.' He exported spices and herbs to Keen island, an island in eastern sea. Also, it is also a favorite place for pirates. But Captain Charles was brave, he didn't even hesitate to cross the eastern sea. He travelled from his hometown to Keen island many times and every time death just passed past his ears! When I boarded his ship, he told me tales of deadly pirates that still gives ghoosebumps to me.

It was a normal day, I woke from a deep sleep and saw captain was sipping on tea. I greeted him good morning and he greeted me too. I made my bed and stood in the deck, breathing in the refreshing sea breeze. Suddenly a man shouted 'Pirates!!!!' as he pointed towards a ship with a flag which had skull and crossbones!

Captain Charles steered the ship away from the pirates. Some of the sailors were blaming captain for this but captain turned deaf to them. Captain Charles told us to hide in the basement of the ship that day for the first time I could see fear in captains eyes. We all rushed towards the basement. From the basement, the shouts of the pirates could be heard. A fellow pirate ordered us to leave the ship and jump in the sea. Many of us refused but at last we were convinced. We made a plan to escape. In the meantime, a fellow sailor whispered that someone was coming down to basement. From the footsteps it was clear that they were two in number, we all were ready to pounce on them. As soon as they entered, we attacked them. The men were very afraid and were not able to shout out of fear. We snatched their swords from them. Among us, Jack and Aries were the most brave. So, we decided to send them on the deck. When they reached the deck, horrible screams were heard from the basement. We understood that fight was on. During the haphazard situation of fight me and 8 more sailors came to the deck. To our surprise, many pirates were killed by Jack and Aries, and they were still fighting. By using the fight situation to our advantage, we decided to escape. We all jumped in the sea at the same time. One of the pirates cried "Captain they're escaping!!!"

"Let them escape, the valuables are in the ship" said the captain

I felt that it were my last moments before death. My eyes were filled with tears and my hopes were flooded by the darkness of hopelessness. But something told me to overcome this situation.
