[POV: AW team]

"Come on wutong we can do it there is only one left" - spoke a very tired alba to another super tired wutong.

40 minutes have passed since they started fighting and they have already killed almost all the undead toads and now they only have one left, the weakest of all but now as they are very tired and with their mana reserves almost at zero the toad seems the strongest enemy they have ever faced.

'Alba... I can't take it anymore... I want to sleep'-Alba said as she barely dodged the toad's attack.

'No... wutong we can do it just try to recover some mana so you can make an attack and kill him' - Alba said trying to motivate wutong to recover.

They have tried everything to try to recover their mana quickly but their only option is to dodge and wait for it to recover on its own, they had tried that as the wutong attacks are more effective she will rest while dawn distracts him but the toad does not let them even a second if it is not an attack with his tongue he jumps to try to crush them, the toad is the weakest but it turned out to be the most intelligent of all, they are still grateful that he cannot launch a magical attack otherwise they could not tell if they would still be alive.

"How are your wutong reserves going?" - I ask while dodging the toad from his attempt to crush her and trying to kill him by throwing a sharp ice fragment to his eye but the toad avoided it by moving his body, causing the fragment to cut his skin slightly but nothing serious for the toad that it is an undead who doesn't mind small wounds.

'I already have 1/4 of my reserve full, but if I want to kill him I need half of my reserve to make the attack...' - she said while trying to avoid another attack from the toad but she was so tired she didn't realize around her and ended up crashing into a tree giving the toad a chance to kill her with one blow.

"Wutong"-alba shouted as she tried to reach wutong's side to help her but she was far from her.

Wutong was in such shock that he was prevented from moving by the toad's imminent attack, but then a fireball suddenly shot through the mist towards the toad's tongue, hitting it and causing the toad to retract its tongue and begin to make moves to try to kill it. put out the fire, but the only thing that achieved was that the fire spread through his body.

While the toad screamed in pain and desperately moved trying to put out the fire, Alba and Wutong were watching the scene in shock because the undead are not supposed to feel pain but the toad is clearly feeling it.

In that, another fireball came in the direction of the toad but it is directly at his head, causing the toad to stop moving in a few seconds and fall to the ground with his body burned.

While alba and wutong recovered from the shock, they turned their gazes towards the place where the fireballs came only to see heterochromatic eyes that shone hidden in the fog, the right one being yellow and the left one greenish.

It seems... a new ally or enemy has appeared, but they hope it will be the first because they are too tired for another battle.

[POV: KT team]

While alba and wutong were recovering from the shock of the sudden appearance of a possible ally or enemy.

Kanna and Tsubasa are sitting rested after killing the undead.

It's already been ten minutes since they killed all the undead and now they're resting in silence since, even if kanna isn't that tired tsubasa she is.

"Tell me Tsubasa, did you feel like you were being watched, back when we were fighting the undead?" Kanna asked as she turned to Tsubasa and she remembered that feeling of feeling watched from afar... she needless to say that she didn't like it, but she couldn't do anything since she was busy fighting the minotaur.

'...'-tsubasa was silent for a moment before nodding her head since she didn't want to talk she was tired of killing all those undead while she was fighting with this small body.

She remembered that she had felt someone who was watching her, but in the end she couldn't tell from where, since as her senses are greatly diminished by the curse she can barely feel if someone was watching her but not say in what. place.

"When do we continue with the search?" -Kanna seeing that Tsubasa confirmed that she felt it but seeing that she doesn't know where she came from either, she asked if they were still looking for her.

'If you want, we can now... but, if you're still recovering your mana, we can wait' - she said since she was still tired she could rest while kanna ran but remembering that she was the one who spent mana to fight it can wait.

"The mana you spend has already recovered almost 80%, so we can continue" - he said since after the attack to kill the two weakest minotaurs he managed to take the strongest one more calmly, since he didn't need to be using his lightning to increase his speed to dodge the attacks of the remaining minotaur and while he killed it and rested he now managed to recover 70% of his reserves enough to continue.

It's been about 15 minutes since they continued their search and now they've come to a wide clearing with no trees nearby and a lesser amount of fog around the clearing.

Kanna nodded as he kept walking but he was also looking around to see if they found anything.

In that kanna defines herself and turns to the right with tsubasa because they heard something in that direction.

Only for a lot of footstep sounds to start to be heard and a bunch of undead start appearing everywhere surrounding them.

Kanna and Tsubasa froze a bit when they saw the amount of undead there were, if they could say a number close to the amount they would say that there are at least 400 undead.

But... what also scared them a bit was that many of them were low-ranking undead so this makes it harder for them to try to kill them or escape.

'Kanna go back to your true form and start killing'-tsubasa said as he saw the bunch of undead running towards them.

Kanna without speaking began to grow and as white fur began to cover her, wings grew out of her back, her tail changed to a thicker one, her neck lengthened and her face changed. (:v don't wait too long)

Haci kanna returned to her true form as she opened her mouth and began to charge a ball made of compressed lightning at high speed and then shoot it from left to right towards the undead that came in front of her, killing many of them more than all. to those of normal range and some other of low range.

she then she started to run and start killing as many undead as she could.

Tsubasa didn't stay away either since as Kanna returned to her true form, she had jumped up and started killing undead that came from behind.

And so they were killing the undead that seemed to have no end because the more they killed the more they came because of the noise they made.

While Kanna was killing the undead with her claws to avoid using her mana she felt herself being watched again, so as she returned to her true form and regained her enhanced senses she turned in the direction she felt to see... a large turkey greenish blue looking at them with a frown.

Seeing him, he had no doubt that he was the one who had done this, his death aura giving him away.

(I forgot to put it in her status but she has [Dragon eyes] as a passive... sorry this is something all dragons are supposed to have but when I wrote her status I forgot it existed and now I'm remembering: v.

Dragon eyes has many benefits, one of them is that he can see the aura of others and tell what affinity he has (for now)... but it only works if the other person/monster doesn't hide his aura, later he explained better the abilities/ benefits it brings.)

'Tsubasa go...turn to the right there is the cause of this'-she said mentally to tsubasa while he killed the undead that approached him.

Tsubasa hearing kanna, jumped to the side away from the undead and turned her gaze to the direction kanna said and saw the big turkey that was looking at her now.

Tsubasa who has an affinity to a spiritual element can recognize a monster with an affinity to do with death (her years of experience also counts)... So she also recognized the turkey as the cause of this.

The great turkey, seeing that he had been discovered, squawked very loudly and all the undead became more frantic and from a distance you could see that more were coming.

Tsubasa mentally told kanna that she will use her trace mark so that she will tell andrius and the AW team to come.

Kanna nodded and activated her mark to send her location and hope they come quickly.

[POV: AW team]

It's been 20 minutes since she finished her battle against the undead toads.

These 20 minutes have been resting trying to recover their physical and mental fatigue.

And even though Alba and Wutong have been resting, they have also been alert to the monster that is sitting next to them right now.

Even though, after coming out of shock at the sudden death of the toad and the appearance of the monster, they managed to communicate with her and... if it's a she, now they know they won't attack them, but they still need to be alert just in case.

What they found out about her and why she helped them was 1) she's killing the undead and 2) she's trying to find the monster causing this... So they have very similar Missions but they still can't trust her easily and more when they are too tired to protect themselves from a surprise attack.

Alba and wutong also found out that this monster is of the same race as Alba... a spirit, but feels different from her in some way but can't find which one.

As they rested they felt the cat face on their hand/paw begin to glow.

This alerted them and they quickly tried to feel where the signal was coming from to feel that they were far from where it came from.

Alba and wutong look at each other and nod their heads at the same time and then turn their gaze to the monster with yellow and green eyes with a body that looks like a blue and black flame, with a size of one meter tall.
