finding a river and fight to the death with a fish

After I finished running I started to use my senses to see if I could find a river.

It didn't take me long to at least hear the sound of water not far from where I was.

So I quickly kept running in the direction I was going and after running for a few minutes, I reached the river.

The river is very beautiful but it is not the time to be seeing the beauty I need to wash.

Then I get into the water taking advantage of the fact that I didn't see any fish or animal that would bother me.

I took a shower trying to get rid of all the blood that got on my fur when I was killing the boar.

While I was in my mini world of relaxation since I had 3 days without feeling the water in my body.

I didn't notice the fish approaching me but at least my enhanced senses managed at the last moment to dodge the fish's surprise attack.

It was a fish with a long jaw like a crocodile, it tried to make a surprise attack by jumping towards me trying to bite me with its sharp teeth.

'Hell a low rank monster' - I thought as I looked at the fish that looked no different in size than the ones I had seen on TV in my previous life, it was just longer.

"Grrr...!" - I growled at the crocodile fish, even though it is a low-ranking monster, it is only in magic, its body is as strong as mine, so as long as I attack it quickly, not even its magic will be able to save it.

He just stared at me, trusting that at some point in my swim I ended up in the middle of the river, at least it's not that low and I only ended up with half my feet in it.

But the depth is enough for the crocodile fish since its body is more elongated, almost like a snake, so the shallowness of the river does not bother it.

The crocodile fish started its movement around me, since I don't have that much speed here I have to rely on my reaction speed to dodge its attack and counterattack and then try to go towards the river bank.

The crocodile fish at one point stopped spinning and in the back shot towards me, thanking my improved hearing.

I jumped forward center back and while I was in the air more or less, I took out the military knife and used telekinesis to launch it towards the crocodile fish.

Before trying to fight a fair fight I first need to get out of the center of the river so I can move better.

Taking advantage of the fact that the crocodile fish dodged the military knife, I moved quickly towards the riverbank that was a few meters away.

The crocodile fish, seeing my action, moves quickly towards me to prevent me from reaching the shore.

But since he sees that he can't reach me, he stops and comes to the surface and I feel how the Mana gathers in his mouth.

Then he launches a large jet of water in my direction, I barely dodge it, but when I jump to dodge it I fall on some slippery rocks making me have to adjust my posture to avoid falling.

The crocodile fish, seeing that his attack didn't work and that I'm almost on the shore where he doesn't have much maneuverability when swimming, makes use of his Mana and starts throwing jets of water at me but this time faster than the previous one.

I use fast telekinesis to send stones towards attacks to try to stop them or change their direction.

I don't have enough control in telekinesis to make it direct in the magic attack.

And then you'll wonder why he didn't use it to stop his body... well he has more Mana so it could only stop him for a few seconds before he can move again, so it would be counterproductive to try and stop him for just a few seconds and not be able to attack.

But hey, moving on, the stones I throw stop the water jets, thanking that the stones I used were big enough or close enough and that the water jet didn't have so much pressure.

I quickly look for where the knife fell and use telekinesis to attract it towards me, while I attract it I make it pass next to the crocodile fish with the intention of cutting it, but it reacted quickly and dodged it, but not before leaving a large cut on its body.

Seeing him bleed doesn't stop my attacks and I use telekinesis to quickly send stones at him to hit him while looking for the opportunity to kill him with the military knife.

The crocodile fish avoids the stones but he is bleeding so much that his movements are getting slower and slower until at last I see an opportunity and throw the military knife at him without much thought and... kill him.

after killing it i heard a 'ding' from the system but this is not the time to check it.

'...' - Seeing the body of the dead crocodile fish with the knife stuck in its head, I don't know what to think.

'This is the wildlife where at any moment they can attack you to eat you' - I thought as I shook my head and then used my inventory and put away the body of the crocodile fish and the military knife.

Taking advantage of it, I grab a large quantity of stones from the river for future combat.

Finishing my bath, I quickly go to the cave to rest since this was an eventful day.

There weren't that many, but for me, yes... so I'm going to the cave while I grab branches and dry leaves that I see around to make a fire because if I don't I'm going to get cold.
