Ch. 5 Nesting

It looks like this one is feeling brave again. Making me a personal fire ignitor? He dares!

"I didn't mean it that way." Ling Xi quickly denies, shaking his head quickly.

Cheng Li decided not to pursue it. He instead look around, seeing the jars full of dry foods lying on the shelves.

"Are you nesting?" I asked him, gesturing all the jars in the cabinet.

"Huh?" Came his response, before looking at the foods.

"ah, I'm preparing for the Cold weather to come." Ling Xi answers, not having the patience to explain. He frankly, he doesn't want to explain.

"This one is good, what tea is it?" before taking the lid of the pot smelling the mellow fragrance of the tea.

"This one is a tea harvested in the high-level heavenly realm."

"Heavenly realm? How many realms do we have?" his expression is full of curiosity, still a human child, naive and pure.

"We have eight realm, we are currently living in human realm right now." He slowly explains before stopping, this little one has spatial ring and dimensions yet he doesn't know anything?

"You said you have a spatial ring and dimension right?"

"Yes, but you said you don't want it, no take back!" even clutching his neck making him know where he hid his spatial ring at. This little one is really funny.

"I'm not going to take it from you, and Ling Xi, you holding the base of your neck is a dead giveaway of where you are hiding your spatial ring at." Cheng Li's lips twitching, clearly holding his laughter and pointing at Ling Xi neck.

"Oh"

"Yes, Oh! Now i just want to ask you why you clearly had a spatial ring and dimension, you don't even know how many realms we had, and you said you are an alchemist yet you have no soul force which is critical in making pill,."

"I'm just starting in studying alchemist okay, and how do you know I don't have a soul force?" his face is full of suspicions, even slowly standing, clearly making a run if he say the wrong words.

"I check it using my personal awareness, I could check the dantian of people weaker than me using it and one more thing I could check your body even if you are clothed by using it." Cheng tells him even wearing a hooligan expression.

"Perve!" Ling Xi, holding his clothes and running out of the house followed by a hearty laughter.

Ling Xi really want to just go out, go down to the city and never came back but thinking the medicinal herb in the garden, he hesitated before stopping on his track completely. 'Forget it, i need those herbs, even if i have money in my disposal right now but those herbs are priceless'.

But instead of going inside again, he decided to just harvest the vegetables, he has to make pickles and preserve foods before he can start his cultivation. He had to quickly raise his level and surpassed the pervert inside, this is one of his other life long goals.

Long beans, radishes—white, red, and black. Small and big ones, carrots in different colors and sizes, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapeños, cauliflowers, he decided to harvest all of them for pickling.

After getting the vegetables, he decided to harvest the berries to make jams, including apricots and pears. He really wants to harvest the walnuts, chestnuts and almonds but looking at the trunks decided not to, he just has to wait for them to fall off and just pick it up.

He sighed, he really wanted to eat some. 'I wish i have powers to make a strong wind to knock them all' then i idea came to mind, maybe he could ask if Cheng Li can do it.

"Great god, can you produce wind?" He shouted running inside the house.

He sees Cheng Li reclining in a sofa he clearly produce, wearing new clothes and looking clean. In fact, even the table is clean, the utensils in their right place, even the cooking utensils. 'He cleaned it, great now i don't have to worry about food sticking dry on the plate'

"You wash the plates?" he asks, even sitting on the sofa where the great god is lounging at.

"Can you produce wind? Can you help me in harvesting the nuts outside?" his face is full of hope, subconscious batting his eyelids in the process.

"...." this one. Forget it, it's just knocking some nuts of the tree. Just an easy task, he can do that than making this little one disappointed.

A strong gale all knock the nuts off, making LingXi clap in glee, holding a big bowl, almost bigger than him, happily collecting the mixed nuts at the ground. He has done a good job at making his wife happy, so Cheng Li decided to make him even happier by helping him collect it. Using his Dawn splitter a sword he can change in different shapes, his signature weapon when he is still the strongest. He can't manipulate it now in his true potential but he could change it in simple things like metal net, sieving the leaves and small roots then putting it on the bowl. When the old bats and even his little brother in heaven sees what he is doing right now, they surely can be very angry that they would surely vomit blood and injure their organs because he is using the strongest weapon that they so coveted the most as a sieve.

"Thank You so much." Ling Xi beam, looking at Cheng Li in worshipping eyes. Indignation and resentment are all gone with the wind.

"Why are you all harvesting all the foods, winter is still four months away?" Cheng Li question, really curious what the little one is doing.

"I have to start studying so I Don't have time to look for them anymore and I don't want all the food to go to waste." Ling Xi lookup, answers the question then bowed again, cleaning the vegetables that he picked.

"You know this place has an enchantment right? The vegetables would never wilted or yellowed, so is the fruits, always stay ripe and fresh,. Everything here could never be spoiled. The patch where you picked the vegetables and fruits for sure is starting to grow another one again." Cheng Li explains again.

"Uhm, the master who gives me his pocket Dimension and spatial ring just put me in here, telling me to become an alchemist and cultivate, so I don't know anything about this place." it is better to make a story than to say that my soul comes from the earth and transmigrated in here.

"And the master?"

"I don't know where he is now, he just says this would become my place now before disappearing."

Cheng Li became silent, clearly thinking, he looks at Ling Xi before taking a ball in his spatial ring.

"Give me your hand in here, we are going to measure test if you are capable in alchemy. You haven't start cultivating yet so you we can't really test your talent." he said giving him the testing stone.

Upon contact, the stone glow from white to black, making a contrasting color. They glow until the stone became white and black, merging in the middle.

Cheng Li raises his eyebrow. Looking at his expectant face, he can't really bear to say the result.
