Out of control (1)

In a grand mansion, that you could easily tell belong to a person in the one percent of the population, at the forefront of the gate a flag was hoisted proudly, showing the colors of Spain and another hoisted at the other side of the gate showing a plain white flag with a Griffin in the middle as it had a crown made of stars on its head, this was the family emblem of the Merez empire. The flags stood proudly at both sides of the gate as guards with a grand stone sculpture of the Griffin with its crown never carved out and place in front, as the surround was tiled with a water spring coming off around it. Inside the mansion had various room and apartments as we take a look at one in particular, from the outside there seemed to be nothing going on as when you get a look at inside you would find it in complete shamble with arcs of electricity coming out of some of the items as in the far back a girl could be seen in tattered clothes as she sobbed quietly, the electricity had caused her hair to stand on its end as the current could be seen passing along each strand once in a while;

"What is happening to me" Sarah's silent voice rang out "I don't understand, how did this happen" she was in a state of confusion, she was having the best night of her life a night or two ago when it suddenly turned sour and then boom it changed forever, the rate at which things were happening was two fast for her to keep up as she started to slowly lose her mind, not even aware of how many days had passed, she raised her hands and looked at them when tears began to fall:

"I killed her"

"I killed them"

"I'm a murderer"

The words slowly came out of her mouth as her eyes that now had heavy bags under them began to shake, she looked nothing like the beauty she was as it became worse as she remembered what happened the other night.

---

BOOM

A pillar or bright lightening struck the ground or more like erupted from the ground as to people seeing it from afar, they saw it at the former. It was so loud as the sound of such thick column of lightening couldn't go unnoticed.

Let it be known that lightening would never form a column when it strike as even if it does it disappears so quickly that no one would know, and due to the heavily destructive nature of lightening, the surrounding electricity supplies would be disrupted as in worse case scenarios lead to a black out, and to developed countries like Spain that utilize electricity for their daily activities, it can be very devastating as trains run on electricity, sparks could go off that cause fires and the so much other devastating disasters could occur that makes thunderstorms one of the most feared natural disasters.

Now, this was what happened on that night when the column of electricity was seen that made people never forget it, with the column that lasted for over thirty seconds, the effects were bound to be disastrous, the column rose, as arcs of lightening snaked across the sky as it struck down on various places, the school prom that had been disrupted previously by the tremor quickly went into emergency mode as from the half of the country experienced an instant black out with strikes of lightening hitting the ground a random locations, the strength of the strikes being absurdly strong that the next day, corpses of animals, birds and even unlucky people that hadn't been able to find shelter during that brief moment were seen littered across the ground with different parts of their bodies blown out, it would be assumed to be the point of contact of the strike. It was a disastrous day in Spain, as with the end of the thunderstorm that lasted not longer than a minute, several lives had been lost and properties damaged as a wild fire had begun in a private conservative of the state.

"My head hurts" suddenly waking up and standing from a crater a few minutes a later a girl in tattered clothes stood up, as arcs of electricity ran through her hands as her eyes were closed as she tried to get her bearing while she held her head.

"GET AWAY FROM ME, FREAK" a voice all too familiar with her but without the emotion that was currently attached to it, fear.

"Who are you calling a freak, you moron, you just frickin tried to rape me" she said as she moved a step closer to the boy that was already on the floor scampering away with so much fear as he looked at her while he held his family jewels in his hands, the action she saw was strange to her as she didn't know she could ever cause the oh so great Marquis to whimper like a puppy "hey are you ok"

"Get away from me" he mustards the last bit of courage he had to say it out as he tried standing up to run away but due to his body condition he could only afford to limp miserably. Seeing him limp away in such a state Sarah was puzzled that was when she got a glimpse of her surrounding, although it was night, the obviously burnt state of the ground was quite evident as the smell made it even more so as she then looked at herself and saw the state of her body, remembering that she was been chased by Marquis' goons as well and they held her down, but only Marquis had ran away she looked to her sides were to her terror she saw what looked like skeletons at least as more than half had been turned to ash.

"Did I do this" she thought out loud as she took a step back,

"It can't be me, right?" she moved again as she looked very terrified,

"I mean, it's not poss…" she was about to complete that thought when she found arcs of electricity dancing across her fingers.

"No, no, no, no" she looked at them when she kicked a rock as she landed on her butt,

THUD

From, afar she began for see rays of lights coming closer most likely from torches as she heard various voices:

"Hello anyone here"

"Hello is anyone hurt"

A group of students had teamed up to form a search and rescue team as they looked around for potentially injured students, when to her dismay she heard a voice that she had grown up to care about:

"SARAH, are you out here" Larissa called out and her voice was much closer. Growing up they both had a way of automatically locating each other as though they would an invisible tracker that only both of them could see. But this time to her horror the tracker was even more efficient as Sarah began to run as she looked at her body and seeing the rising currents rising with her fear:

"No, please just stay away"

She ran until her fear happen,

"There you are" Larissa bumped into her as she went in for a bear hug.
