Calm Blue Light

"AHHHH SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE"

Not even thinking twice he stepped out of the car as he looked around for the location of the voice until he found it. It was a young girl dangling from a pole leaning towards the river.

He saw the girl dangling from the pole as he ran with full force not even caring for his clothes. Due to the rain and the tremor the earth had tilted a bit leading to a land slide that made the cars and bikes begin to slide over the cliff. It was chaotic as everyone around had to find something to hold on to so that the are not swept away:

CRACKLE

A lightening bolt struck the ground as the rain continued to pour without abandon, "CAN YOU HOLD ON" Maxwell shouted at the top of his voice to the girl whose grip was already failing her, she nodded her head frantically as Maxwell out of desperation pulled a car along the slope as he placed its tire on the pole to give it more weight, he then removed his jacket as he wrapped it around the pole using it to slide down to meet the girl: "Grab unto me miss" he said as he turned around allowing the girl to get on his back, athletically he jumped down unto a debris that was sliding down as he continued to jump all the way to the ledge:

'I was born for this moment' Maxwell said with a perverted face that could make anyone run away from such creep, but due to the moment the girl had safely tucked her face away into his back that was sturdy.

THUD

He jumped one last time as he landed on a stable surface that wasn't moving. He pulled her away from his back as he took her up as a baby with both arms, he clean her face as the rain poured revealing the girl to be a beautiful girl she held his shirt tightly, "don't worry dear, it is over, you are safe now" he said as he gave off his signature smile making the girl's heart melt as she saw this. Her face turned a bright shade of red as she was quickly embarrassed. She jumped off his arms quickly as she tried to bury her face in her hand "I am very sorry, I was just careless" she said as she began to look to a stable ground to run away "I would use this way if I were you" he said as he whispered softly into her ear making her moan a bit as his voice had this seducing tone to it, quickly realizing what had happened she became double embarrassed as she quickly ran off.

"Ugh, not even a thank you kiss" Maxwell said as he shook his hand from the mud "but looks like I still got it, heh" he said as he ran his hand through his hair trying to take the 'cool' pose when he suddenly remembered "Oh shit my hands are dirty" he said as he began to look at himself: "Man screw this, I would have been at home, on my own relaxing probably under a duvet with a girl by myside but here I am stuck out here with a dirty outfit, all because of that bitch, could this day get any worse" he screamed in frustration again as he found the universe to prove his statement right once more today. As he open his eyes he saw the one and only Callista staring daggers at him, with a soul piercing gaze that could tear open the depth of his soul, as she folded her arms, 'oh shit' was the only thought running through his head.

"I am so sure that you really enjoyed that, am I right?" she asked

"Hold on babe she was in trouble; did you really expect me not to do something" Maxwell said trying to justify himself.

"Oh, how you just love playing the knight in shiny armor, let me ask Maxwell Wright, were you the only one available to save her" she asked as she took a step forward;

'Oh shit, she just called my full name didn't she, and she also took a step forward' Maxwell's thoughts were all over the place as he took a corresponding step backward "Babe wait we can talk about this"

"Talk about what, when you went all super hero type of shit on another girl, or did you really thinking I didn't see the face you made when you were hoping back, or how you did not hesitate to get out of the car under the rain, do you think I am daft" Callista asked as she moved towards him until they got to the very end of the stable surface.

"Babe, I know you are mad, and I am sorry but right now, I think it is a very wrong moment to do this" Maxwell said as he raised his hands half way up signifying she should stop advancing or else he might fall as he kept on looking at the mud flowing down the cliff.

"Hahahaha, Maxwell, you never did ask me what happened to my ex-boyfriends did you, perhaps you assumed they just moved far away, but let me tell you this, I got tired of them and you know what happens to people that I get tired off?" she asked as she took a step closer as Maxwell began sweating profusely:

"Callista, don't tell me" Maxwell said as he did not want to think of the worst;

"Yes, Max it is as you think, I dump them, and I mean it quite literally" she said as she licked her tongue.

"Don't you feel anything, any remorse, any fear anything at all for what you are trying to do. After all the time we spent together, all the effort I put, isn't there nothing you feel down there" Maxwell said

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, Max I am way past that point, there isn't any redemption for me, you said you loved me with my flaws, right? Well, this is one of them" she said with an eerie smile as chills ran down his spine.

'I guess if I am to go down I can't go down without a fight' he thought as he raised his palm to give her a slap, when his hands stopped midway 'I can't do it, I can't hit a lady' he thought as he closed his eyes.

Callista looking at the palm in shock began to laugh "Hahahaha, did you really try to hit me"

"I still believe in you" he said smoothly making her hesitate a bit as he kissed her "you can still chan…" he was still talking when she suddenly pushed him over the steep edge as she watched him get stuck in the mud as he glided down the mud.

'I guess this is it, Naiad would so hate me' Maxwell thought with a smile as a tear rolled down his cheek 'I guess for someone like me, there is no other fitting way than to die by the hands of a woman' he thought as he fell 'wait why is this light following me' he thought as he still saw a blue light floating calmly beside him. He had long seen it from afar but didn't pay it any attention but now that it was just floating calmly at an arm's length away, he felt drawn to the light as he raised his hands to touch it.

"Huh, did it just get colder or am I dreaming" Callista spoke as steam came out of her mouth and as she rubbed her hands together.
