Calamity with the rain

"A new day to be successful" Maxwell said his mantra as he got out of bed today, he had decided to skip school today as he didn't feel the need to, so he slept in. Getting up, he did some aerobic stretches as he went down and began his daily push up routine of 250 push-ups, then he began his sit-ups of equal number all while some rap music was blaring at the background.

HUFF HUFF HUFF

He panted as he stood up and looked at his body through the mirror, his finely chiseled abs and well-shaped chest region "hmmm it is not easy taking care of these babies" he said as he admired his body. He moved towards the window as he pulled open the curtain as he let in rays of light looking at the beautiful sun rise, today was special as the rays of the sun could be seen in the wee hours of the morning "And who the hell would say Australia is the Devils land after seeing something like this" he said with a smile as he began to take off his sweat pants "I would go to the gym in the evening and complete my workout" he said as he moved to have his bath. Coming out of the shower, he put on some lotion and some deodorant as he put on his house clothes:

A message notification entered his phone as he groaned at the thought of it, looking at the content of the message, his face squeezed even more:

'Be prepared by 7am, we are going out. AND DON'T BE FUCKING LATE' – Calli Baby

He was perplexed, wasn't it too early for this. He had long since tried to changed the way her name was changed on his phone but it always ended terribly but he just gave up totally on his last attempt.

"Damn it, and I already planned to be with Mike all day, and maybe smooth things out with Naiad but she just keeps getting on my nerves, Arrrrgggg damn it all" he screamed as he pulled on his hair, after sometime he got up and returned to the mirror as he took a meditative position "relax Maxwell it is too early for her to get to your head, you are the alpha here" he said as he spoke out the mantra when he suddenly made his face in frustration after a thought bumped into his head "I'm probably the beta" he said as he fell on his back looking at the ceiling.

Coming out of his room he saw his brother coming out from the opposite door that was his room already dressed for school "Hey bro you are already up". Naiad just passed as though he had heard nothing

"Come on bro we can't keep on living like this, I am your brother, we need to talk, we need to connect" Maxwell said as he trailed after his brother;

"What is it Max, you've suddenly grown too busy off late for that have you not" Naiad said as he placed his bag pack on the chair and moved to the fridge to get something to eat.

"See you won't understand, is not that I don't have time for you but see, sometimes we need to grow out of our comfort zone, we need to experience the world for ourselves, feel what is out there that makes us human…" Maxwell continued his compassionate speech as Naiad just simply began eating his cereal and not minding what his brother was saying as he began to play a song on his head phones, when suddenly his face changed to irritation 'Why do the universe hate me so much' he thought as apparently the music that had started to play was a compatible background music to whatever rambling Maxwell had going on as it fit perfectly making him change the song quickly

Finishing his breakfast, he stood up, "hey you are leaving already?" Maxwell asked as he came out of his daze "alright allow me make this up to you, make a wish and watch me fulfill it" he said aloud as this got the attention of Naiad whose hand was on the door knob already "If you really care, come for my football game today, by 9am" he said as he walked out and shut the door behind him not caring for the facial expression of Maxwell; "I'm so screwed" Maxwell said with an expression showing how screwed he was at that request, of any day, it just had to be today and it wasn't even six in the morning yet.

Getting out of his house, he looked up and saw that the weather had began to change for the worse and as it looked like a terrible rain storm would begin soon "Ah damn it, would this day get any worse" he said as he went in to get an umbrella. Right for a young age, Maxwell had never fancied the rain as to him it spelt doom. It always messed up his hair and make up as it got all his clothes soggy and wet, and he doesn't know why any time it rains something terrible happens to him. The day he finally got Callista to accept him, it rained on that day but he felt his luck has probably turned out for the better, but so far, he knew it was his worst experience ever.

GULP

Coming out of his house again gulped loudly as he prepared to step out "let's just hope that this would be the best bad experience ever" he said as he prayed hopefully that someone up there would hear his prayers.

Moving quickly, he got into his car as he started it, "damn it, it is already 6:45" he groaned as he sped off to the location that Callista had later sent for them to link up, "I am dead meat for sure" he said as he drove off.

Reaching the location, it was along the cost as the road to one side had a steep drop off to a river and on the other side, he saw a long line of bikes "looks like it is one of those gang meet ups that she has brought me to again, but she should know, I am not built for this". Looking for a suitable place to park a loud explosion went on in the sky:

"Damn it all, first rain threatens to fall, now the Isis wants to attack what next, an earthquake?" Maxwell said out of frustration as he was right, in the next moment:

RUMBLE

The earth began to shake as everywhere became unstable, the rain that had been threatening to fall began to fall in full force as Maxwell could only shake his head in frustration. The only good take away was now he doesn't have to get out from his car as he now had a very valid reason not to, that was until he heard a feminine voice from afar:

"AHHHH SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE"

Not even thinking twice he stepped out of the car as he looked around for the location of the voice until he found it. It was a young girl dangling from a pole leaning towards the river.
