A Rude Awakening

Tigris a young prodigy, known to be favored by the gods.

Usually one born in the grand capital Verarean, would be brought to the church to be blessed by the God June when they had reached the age of 5, but when Tigris was brought he couldn't be blessed... The reason was is that the boy had already had his magical power meaning he had already been blessed by an unknown god..

But June was confused, usually one that is blessed on birth It's her that does it, and it's only a service to the royal family. June shrugged it off, thought that one of her fellow Gods took a liking to the boy and did it in secret, so from there on he was known as one favored by the gods and a powerhouse of his generation.

Although, June thought that... The real reason to the boy having magic power was that he was not human, or any race of the continent. Well, enough about that.. That's a story for another day.

As for Tigris, he was born a noble to a wealthy house but, all of his family had been murdered by a demon at a young age while on a trip. Tigris had been found, and adopted into the Verarean family shortly after his rescue. From then on he continued to flourish.

And now the young talent entering his first year of highschool, he will face many challenges his entire life he was at the top of his classes, but highschoolers are on another level compared to any junior high student.

Tigris wakes up, staring at his ceiling, he turns his head and sees a girl standing at his doorway. He squinted, he notices the girl as his older sister Fariyael.

"Tigris... you told me you would get up almost an hour ago! Are you really planning to be late on the first day! Just because you're a prodigy doesn't mean you get to sleep in you idiot."

Tigris sighs

"It's fine, since we live in the school dorms it won't take anymore than 5 minutes for me to get to my class, about how much time do I have left?"

Fariyael turns around and takes a step towards the door

"About 20 minutes, remember you can't fool around in highschool Tigris, I'll be heading to my class, if I found out you were late I'll let father and mother know, you're not a baby anymore.

Fariyael leaves the room and slams the door shut.

Tigris once again sighs, he then throws on some clothes, tidy's himself up a bit and heads out for his classes.
