Serial Killer

As Kaito and Lara settled into their roles as leaders of Divisions 1 and 2, respectively, they found themselves drawn to each other, their shared sense of duty and determination forging a bond between them. In the quiet moments between meetings and training sessions, they would often sit together, discussing strategies and sharing stories of their past.

However, their newfound companionship was soon overshadowed by the striking news of a disturbing rumour circulating through the village. Whispers of a serial killer made it out to the public's ears. Striking with brutal efficiency and leaving behind a gruesome signature, a cross mark on the victim's face and their arms amputated.

As they all gathered for the meeting, Eliot, Kaito, Lara, and the village elders knew something bad was happening with this serial killer on the loose.

"We can not take any chances," Eliot declared, "We have to do something to keep our people safe."

Kaito agreed, saying, "I'll get our members together right away. We'll patrol the village more and keep a closer eye on things."

Lara added, "We have to stay alert and be ready. We can't relax for even a moment."

The elders thought about it and then nodded, showing they agreed with the plan. They knew it was important to listen to Eliot, Kaito, and Lara.

Eliot then told Kaito and Lara that they were in charge of making sure the village stayed safe. "You two will work with the others from Tenjo to make sure every part of the village is protected."

Kaito and Lara both nodded, showing they understood. They were ready to take on the responsibility and protect their home from danger.

Eliot continued, laying out a detailed plan. "We need to organise our members based on their skills and strengths. The strongest will be in Division 1, the next strongest in Division 2, and so on. I'll handle Division 3 and 4 for now."

He explained how they would need the best fighters and strategists in Division 1 to handle any direct threats. Division 2 would focus on support and defence, while Divisions 3 and 4 would handle other tasks like gathering information and assisting the community.

Kaito and Lara nodded in agreement, understanding the importance of this organisation. They knew it would help them make the most of their resources and keep the village safe.

Kaito and Lara wasted no time in getting to work. They efficiently separated everyone into subdivisions, organising patrols and ensuring readiness. Within a couple of days, all 650 members were divided into divisions: Division 1 with 120 members, Division 2 with 260, and the remaining 270 divided among Divisions 3 and 4. Patrolling commenced, and for a while, people began to think the serial killer might have been a myth.

The doubt did not remain for long as chaos had erupted. One of the patrolling members from Division 3 was found brutally killed, bearing the signature mark of the serial killer. Panic spread through the village as the reality of the threat hit home.

"Did you hear? They found a body!"

"This is madness! How could this happen here?"

"We need to do something! We can't just sit around and wait to be next!"

"Where are the guards? Why aren't they doing anything to protect us?"

"We need answers! What is the village leadership doing about this?"

"I can't believe this is happening. We used to be safe here!"

"We need to protect ourselves. We can't rely on anyone else to keep us safe!"

"Is it true? Are we really in danger?"

"I don't feel safe anymore. What if I'm next?"

Whispers and concerns of the villagers.

Eliot's voice echoed in the council chambers, his tone laced with frustration and concern. "How could this happen under our watch? We had patrols out, guards stationed at every corner."

Kaito leaned forward, his expression tense. "We did everything we could, Eliot. This killer is cunning, elusive. We've been hunting shadows."

Lara nodded in agreement, her eyes reflecting the weight of the situation. "We tried. We had patrols, we were vigilant."

Eliot's gaze hardened, his disappointment visible. "Vigilant? Clearly not enough. Someone is dead because we failed to protect them."

Kaito straightened, determination flashing in his eyes. "We'll double our efforts. Increase patrols, tighten security. We won't let this happen again."

Lara's voice was resolute. "We'll do everything in our power to catch this killer, Eliot. We owe it to the village."

Eliot's jaw clenched, his resolve firm. "We can't afford any more mistakes. Lives are at stake!"

Kaito's nod was firm. "Understood, Eliot. We'll do whatever it takes to keep the village safe."

Lara echoed his sentiment. "We won't rest until this killer is brought to justice!"
