Tricked

This was all too much to take in. If what the Goddess of wisdom and creation was saying was true that means that every dark gods memories were altered to prevent another takeover. Could she just be talking. She was the most powerful Goddess, Maybe Dark bane didn't have the same affects on her like other.

Did they really gain so much power and have everything they ever wanted just for it to be taken away? It seemed like Mazaya would've had to alter every memory they had if it was true And if so how could they get it back? They all were asking themselves this. So many questions.

Since they could remember they never had access to any of their actual powers. There were wards up on all dark magic to prevent anyone from using magic against another god. Most of them couldn't even use their magic in their own dimensions.

Was everything they knew a lie? And if so how long has this lie been told. When did the fake memories end and real ones began? So many questions and the person with the answers was brought to them on a silver platter. The fact that she wouldn't remember this would be a plus.

"You were married? How do we know you aren't lying?" The goddess of sin finally spoke up. Luther has had many relationships and she was one of the few that lasted the longest. She didnt believe anything that Mazaya was saying because if what she's saying is true half of their relationships would've been a lie since they dated as kids with magic restrictions.

"We have a marriage bond. Hera the Goddess of commitment could prove it." Mazaya stated causing Luther to become more furious. A marriage bond stayed as long as it wasn't broke even if no one remembered it. Luther did a small spell to see if what she was saying was true. After the glow confirmed it he had to close his eyes.

Luther spoke up finally after simmering down his build up frustrated and anger. "We have a marriage bond." It wasn't a question but a statement because now all the pieces to a puzzle were finally coming together.

Before Mazaya could answer lucas asked another question. "Why did you marry luther?" This made no sense. All gods knew Mazaya was good and luther was evil the marriage should've never happened.

Mazaya was fidgeting with her fingers so Luther asked. "Why did you marry me?" This would be the last piece to the puzzle. If he could figure out how she married him, he would make it happen again but this time he wouldn't give up his power again. As long as she didn't remember this conversation noone would know what hit them.

"I was tricked into marrying you!!!!" Mazaya whispered. She was still hurt from all those years ago. Even being in this state now she still felt the pain. Only a few gods remembered and unfortunately she had to be one to never have it happen again.

"How were you tricked explain that to us. It makes no sense that someone like you can be tricked. Or are you even as powerful as they say?" Lucas spoke fast and tried to get as much out as possible. Time was ticking once she started to get fully coherent again all would be lost. This was it.

The goddess of destruction snorted and added. "And what made you take away everyone's memories?" She thought this was ridiculous even though she knew there was no lying when you drank dark Bane it was impossible even for the most dangerous gods.

She alwanted her magic back and anything would be better than being a basic god with basic magic. If she had to give up the love she had for Luther she would have to make the sacrifice.
