8.10.1 The betrayal.

This was the first time Pea was watching something so devastating, and a tinge of guilt appeared in her heart for a bit before she suppressed her emotions.

There are no wars without sacrifices, nothing has changed since the day she stepped foot into this, nor will it change in the future.

The Knights, priests, and transcendent beings of all kinds of backgrounds watched in horror, with some staying inside the Court, while others moving out to deal with the problem, that were the insects.

Pea didn't follow those people, she remained inside looking after Heroth who appeared as confused as the rest of the people, but in that confusion was something else hidden which Pea didn't understand completely. But from the little fluctuations she saw in a world that was only visible to her, she can ascertain one thing.
