Chapter 24: Awesome

When the light from Liza's spell began to fade away, the three slowly regained their sight.

"Master..? What was that?" Scarlett spoke softly as she gently rubs her one good eye.

"You like it? I called it Obliteration! I've just crated the spell very recently though, but I'm glad it worked," Liza chuckled with as smug grin on her face.

Scarlett stood there frozen before blurting out. "What..? Spell? Created? Obliteration?"

It took Scarlett a few minutes before she recoiled everything that Liza just said. "YOU MADE A NEW SPELL?!"

"Ow~ too loud, too loud. Scarlett may you quieten down, please?" Red said as rubbed the sides of his head.

"Loud is right, lower your voice before you continue Scarlett," Liza said while rubbing her sensitive ears.

"Oh! Sorry, my apologies. It was not my attention to yell, it's just I'm surprise. Master, I thought you didn't know magic," Scarlett said with a slightly confused face.

Liza smirked before showing Scarlett the magic spell book from the female enchanter. "Because of the book of Merlin, I was able to read this spell book. While learning other spells, I took the liberty of creating a new spell of my own. However, there is cost..."

"A cost? Master, what do you mean by that?" After Scarlett saying that, Liza collapsed on the ground.

"Master!!!" Both Red and Scarlett shrieked.

"Quieten down... I'm not dead. I'm just simply grained from my magic. Obliteration is a spell that consumes a lot of magical power in replace with a power to obliterate my target completely," Liza explained, Scarlett slightly calmed while Red slightly nervous.

Scarlett sighed before feeling a light shining in her eye, it's then Scarlett noticed her full surroundings and the aftermath of her master's spell.

"Master... you got to see this," Scarlett said, as Liza struggled while turning her head.

When Liza adjusted her eye to see huge wide gaping hole in the ceiling, Liza was nothing but shock yet proud as Liza started grinning ear to ear.

'Awesome...' was the last thing she thought before passing out.
