At first, Xu Feng placed the two children in a new area that was shaded by boxes, but not in danger of toppling over on the two kids.
Again, he was thankful the two weren't able to or at least hadn't tried to crawl anywhere. All the boxes were a hazard to curious children.
Looking at the pile of mess he was responsible for, and the corner he knew he wasn't responsible for—that corner was drawing his eye a little too much, but now wasn't the time. What if the two babies woke up? He needed to get a few things organized before then.
First Xu Feng brought the display crib he'd picked—from one of the stores he'd raided—closer to place the children in after he'd changed them. The shaded area seemed like a good idea, but what if the boxes did topple over?
Being an overthinker wasn't a good mix when children were involved.
