Inside the walls

Y/n pov:

Outside the tent, people were shouting and screaming at each other.

The people, who I had learnt are called the military police, were handing out rations to the children or people in need. The same guy who had come to make sure we were okay gave us each a piece of bread.

"Thank you" I said.

"Sure little missy" he looked at me and gave a smile. It was nice to know that people cared on this island.

I looked over to see to army guys hurting a kid. He had brown hair and green eyes.

"What's up with him?" Annie tugged on my sleeve.

"Don't know. Don't care." Was all Reiner could say.

Wow great support. I went over to the kid. He was probably older than me by the looks of it. "Are you alright?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Just a scratch. Cya!" He calmly answered. He ran towards a girl with long black and a boy I think with blonde hair.

It seemed as if they were arguing as the brunette threw a potato at the blonde.

It's not my problem so I just ignored them. No point in getting involved.

~one year later ~

The military were collecting refugees from over the age of eighteen to serve in the army to reclaim wall Maria. My little group were sent to an old man who owned a farm. He was really nice and took care of us as if we were his own

A few days after that, the same guy Hung himself. I don't know why but I have a feeling it was our fault. I mean all of this is our fault. The death. The starvation. The loss. It's all because of us.

That night we were moved into wall rose.

"I think we should become cadets and join the army." Reiner said to us. "We could learn more information on where the attack titan is.

"Good idea." Bertholt replied. "I'm in!" I fist bumped Annie of which she replied with a nod.
