Chapter 2

I woke up as if my body was very tired but I forced myself to stand up so I could not miss a meeting with my new client and I could not be sick. While I was taking a bath earlier, I had many bruises and I did not know where I got them. I did not lift but they were many. I just hope Shane doesn't notice I dont really know how to explain this lot of bruises. Speaking of Shane, I was already upset about 5 minutes late. Shane is the type of woman who doesn't want to get late, she should always be on time but Shane and I are the opposite, I usually get late when we talk for 30 minutes which makes her angry. Is it my fault that I am slow to act and that is natural for me, especially since she knows I can't get too tired. I was about to leave the house when the my bestfriend suddenly called.

"HEY ALEXANDRA WHERE ARE YOU !!? DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS !!!?" someone shouted in the other line and i know who it is of course that's my bestfriend

"Good morning to my beautiful bestfriend" i sarcasticaly said

"HEEEEEY WHERE ARE YOU NOW? HURRY UP MR.LEE IS COMING !! AND DON'T MAKE A LOT OF EXCUSES I KNOW YOU ALEX-" she shouted again and i cutted her before she finish her sentence

"Copy that maam. Im already on my way byeee love you" i ended the call before she answered cause im sure she's already angry at me

And less than 20 minutes I arrived at a coffee shop here because we talked about earning Mr. Lee all the company is just near here. Shane is an Architect and I am an Engineer. Best tandem we seem so Shane and I are always together in the project.

I was just outside when I saw the my bestfriend. I wore a jacket so that the bruises on my arm would not be obvious. She would be surprised because I don't like jackets but no choice, Batman will take care of it. I also put liptint somehow so that I don't look pale. I know that Shane and I will be easy again when she finds out she will be over protective again when it happens.

I hurried in when Shane saw me outside with an order that was obvious earlier because she had run out of a matcha cake. Really greedy at any time. She just looks at me badly until I sit next to her, she doesnt talking to me obviously holding back her anger. Until I just realized that she had hit me on the arm, it was just weak but it seemed like a lot of pain.

"Oh my gosh Shane I know I'm late but do you really need to hit me? You're really bad damn" i almost shouted at her

"Hey im rea-" I didn't let her finish and I knew it would be her testimony"

"I'm very slow to act, I know you don't want to be slow and didn't show up at the right time. So sorry Shane please" matching puppy eyes I know she can't refuse my puppy eyes.

"Can you stop Alex? you still have arrears. You think will you be free, huh? I'll wait my treat .Wait, it's really hurts? It 's not that strong, I'm not beaten by my blow"she worriedly said"

"i said i was joking"i lied

"Can i see?"she stubbornly said

"I said it was a joke ok?" i repeated but she's still stubborn

Because she was naughty I could do nothing but show to her and her eyes finally opened in shock.

"Alex are you okay? Who did this? Who beat you? That's why you're wearing a jacket. Alex" she said while her tears were already flowing before she continued to cry

"I'm going to die" I said seriously I have not yet recovered from the blow she was beaten and hit again I am really overdoing it

"Hey Shane, it's just a joke, I not won't die yet, I'll live,okay? I'll give you free ice cream, Please don't cry anymore, go ahead and still cry you will look like kingkong promise "i joked to make her laugh and im successful

"Promise ice cream huh?"she said while wiping her tears

"Yes" i answered

We did not finish our mischief when Mr. Lee came with his wife. Mr. Lee and his typical wife can be seen very jolly thing they are sweet thing. They want to build a vacation house on the ridge so that when their children come home from the US, they will go on vacation and stay. Our meeting didn't last long either because the couple was going somewhere. We just talked about how big the sq meter of the house is and what the design will be and where the house will be built. It was easy to talk about because the design of the house would be very simple. All they want is a simple house so we don't have to worry about the layout and design.

Shane and I were the only ones left and while I was saying goodbye to where I was going, I knew that this conversation was going to be so long. She will also tease me about my bruises.So before that happened i said goodbye

"Shane, I'll go somewhere first, bye labyu, I'll be free later, huh? Byeee be careful"i quickly said and leave the coffee shop
