"What do you think you're doing to my daughter, Kali?" Alvitr said as she picked up Alice who was pinning Elisa and threw her away not caring if she would get hurt, and once she threw her away, she immediately hugged Elisa who was covered in dirt and was crying loudly.
"Waahh! Mommy… It hurts, she pushed me down to the ground, and beat me up…" Elisa wailed down crying as she clutched Alvitr's clothes for support when Alvitr heard painful cries of Elisa, it broke her so much because this was the first time she heard her cry so hard like this, she has never heard her cry this much. So hearing it for the first time isn't something she was expecting that could hurt so much.
In the whole time since Elisa was born, there were just a few times where she cried, and she can count all of those times in one hand because Elisa isn't really known for crying even though she felt that there were so many moments where she should have cried. But as for the instances where she cried, almost all of them were just sobs because they were never like this.
Even when she accidentally fell off a tree, she never cried, so she always assumed that Elisa was a tough little girl for her mother. However, seeing her like this made her feel like she was slapped. No matter how tough her little girl is, in the end, she is still just a child, and such things would make her cry as just now she was called some bad names, and she was even pushed to the ground where she got beaten up even more.
"I'm sorry, Elisa… This is all Mommy's fault that you got hurt… I wasn't strong enough to protect you…" Alvitr said as she broke down in tears too as she simply hugged Elisa's body as she felt so useless and in Elisa's mind, there was nothing more she wanted to do than to comfort her Mother right now, but she knew that her plan would just backfire on her if she did because she wants her Mother to get stronger, she needs to get passed by this.
She needs to reawaken her past self where she was stern, cold, and a true leader, but even with all of that, she still remained a compassionate leader that her people could rely on both emotionally as the Pillar of their Land is not her Father, Mother, or her Grandfather who was living at the time, but her. She was the sole pillar of the Strasser Family and its people.
'Alvitr… You need to change if you want your daughter to no longer suffer because you know it yourself… Even if you are stripped of your title, you can still never escape the eyes of Nobility. Once you are a Noble you will always be a Noble, and if you want to have a good life with Elisa, the most precious thing to you, you need to become stronger. Both for yourself and the sake of your precious daughter.' Those words resonated in Alvitr's mind as she repeated those words in her mind again and again.
When Elisa felt and heard that her Mother going quiet she stopped crying and held her even tighter, but still remained gentle with her, she just smiled, but no one was able to see it as she was hidden by her Mother's body. But if they were to somehow see her, maybe they would have shivered in fear because the way she was smiling right now was rather wicked because she knew that her plan and gamble had worked.
Changing her Mother to become stronger is not just a dream now, because she could feel that at this very moment, she is beginning to change.
'Alvitr is finally changing, but maybe changing is not the right word. Maybe going back to what she was back then is more appropriate to say. This was her back when she met my useless Father. A smart, calculative, and cold leader who brought the Strasser Family from being dirt into a shiny diamond. I'm proud of you, Alvitr, I hope in the future you can show me something more.' Elisa said to herself as she just continued to cry and hold her Mother even tightly as if she was telling her that she wanted nothing more right now but the comfort of her Mother.
But before Elisa could say anything to continue to manipulate Alvitr into changing, she paused when she felt another presence looming over behind her, but from what she could feel, it wasn't Anneliese, it was another female presence. But she could feel an immense hatred coming from her that was directed at her and when she felt it, she just smiled as she could already guess who the woman was.
Because Alvitr was too busy with her thoughts, she didn't see her sister coming close to them, and because of this, she didn't realize that she had already grabbed Elisa out of her embrace, she only acted when she saw her throwing Elisa at a nearby tree. But before all of this happened, a few seconds before Elisa got yanked by her supposed Aunt, she used her Magic to where her body lighter, and she secretly made her aunt stronger so that when she threw her, she would fly away.
At this moment, she was willing to sacrifice her body so that her Mother would truly wake up, and she knew that this would be the last straw for Alvitr, the last call for her to wake up, and she didn't disappoint. As soon as she hit the tree and because of the force of it, it broke her back, and being the little kid she is her body was still weak and fragile which made her cough up blood instantly.
"In 3… 2… 1…. Snap." Elisa said in her mind as she could feel her consciousness fading away, but she fought it as she wanted to watch the moment when Alvitr went back to her old ways, and she didn't disappoint.
In Alvitr's times of leading the Strasser Family, she was not only the Mind of the Family, but she was also the Strength of it. She was not just a genius in Academics, Finance, or Strategies, she was also called a once-in-a-lifetime genius in Fighting. Because of that, she earned herself a title, the Sword Saintess.
"What the hell do you think you're doing to my daughter, Mia?" Alvitr asked in a cold tone that no one would expect and when Elisa heard it she sighed which only caused her to cough up more blood as she knew that her job here was done, so she simply let the exhaustion and pain too over her and she completely passed out.
Without any warning, Alvitr pulled Mia's hair before smashing her face on the ground, but Mia was rather lucky because it was full of grass which softened the impact to some degree. But that doesn't mean that she didn't feel any pain as she was already curling in pain because of what her older sister did.
"Why can't all of you just leave my daughter alone… I already left the family because I know that all of you hated me despite everything that I have done for this fucking family. But now all of you want to redirect your anger toward my daughter because all of you know that you can't fight me? I'm sorry, but I won't let that happen." Alvitr said in a chilling tone as she looked at everyone who just arrived with her cold eyes she grabbed Mia by her collar before throwing her on the pond near them without a care if she would die or not.
