Synopsis

Vampyres were never in Liliana Farley's vocabulary. Not until a wickedly handsome, and wildly wealthy gentleman enters the flower shop where she works on the weekends. Liliana will come to learn the secrets of the elite Vampyres protecting mortals since the earliest days of civilization. She will uncover the code left behind in ancient tapestries her parents spent their lives piecing together. However, Darick Xander, the supreme Vampyre leader, has a secret which could be the ruination of their sacred union. They ultimately unwrap the answer to eternal love. Their offspring destined as Dhampirs, the few that will have the power to guide humankind back to love. ** All attention was drawn to the alabaster luster of his skin. It had the look of cool marble on an overcast morning. There was no undertone of pink nor the sallowness of yellow. Just a paleness that seemed to glow from within. The Flower Shop Vampyre is created by Agnes Gerlach, an eGlobal Creative Publishing signed author.

Love or Duty in the Face of Uncertainly

There was a blade forged with honor, respect, dignity, virtues, and the duty to protect and punish the evildoers to fulfill the "Will of Good", a will that will never be shattered and will continue until no more trace of evil is felt from the world of mankind. There was also a blade forged by agony, misery, terror, revenge, sins, and the duty to fulfill and be free from the hypocrites who declared themselves as "Heroes" with the "Will of Good" as their greatest weapon to manipulate every soul from the world of mankind. They are not called blades, but rather a "Hero" and a "Villain" who bears love for their wills and duty for their roles. Once upon a time, the existence of the word "and" for both the heroes and the villains started to fade away like a glimpse from a stranger's face, a wind that suddenly passes by and never be felt again, or maybe it is the same as the whisper of someone you love that suddenly doesn't fit right to be called "your love", when it slowly fades away another word brighten the world of heroes and villains, "or" came forth to settle everything between Good or Evil. A Hero or A Villain. Between Love or Duty. In the Face of Uncertain Fate, there were a pair of blades clashing and running from the daylight, hiding their sins that violate their duties, exploring their love for someone they hate, a fight between a hero and a villain that fell in love with each other with a sword in their hands and a rose from the other. "I wish to press my lips to yours, but at the same time, I wish to push my sword through your heart. Yet, I cannot because I do not know who should be my companion until the last day I take my breath from this world. Is it Love or Is it Duty?"

Temporary synopsis: (can change btw) also read desc below ty and enjoy :> sypnosis starts here: Tu Syaoran. A calculative man. A man that is full of scheming. A man whose shamelessness is unparalleled. Tu Syaoran. The man who had reached the pinnacle. He had what many desired: money, beauty and power. However, he wasn't satisfied. His final goal was immortality. An abrupt intervention by a 'god', turns Tu Syaoran world upside down and before he knew it, he was dead. Dead in that world, but alive in this world. A world thriving with cultivation. A world where strength is king. A world made up of cores and core symbols. Would he make it to the top? and if so would he achieve his goal of immortality? ---> sypnosis ends here. Since its easter ill try get more out. dont expect two chaps a week because thats given the fact that i had lots of spare time. however, ill try to get out as many chaoper as possible though but dont expect anything Warning : With my inspiration that come froms reverend insanity i decided that this book will be very cruel harsh ect lots of gore (okay not alot but lots of death and kills and can be graphic) but also some good stuff like life. Even though i haven't experience much ill try to make this book to encompass life with both good and bad with some of my ideology in it as well. If you dont like it then please don't read it. have a good day !

Fifty Years of the Nigerian Novel, 1951-2000

Over the past fifty years, the Nigerian novel has grown to more than a hundred titles. This may appear to be rather a handful, considering the relatively long stretch of time. The fact is that not many have tried their hands at the occupation, or gone beyond the first book. It probably goes to show that writing is no easy occupation. What may be more remarkable is that relatively few, out of that handful, is known by the reading public, or discussed by the critics. Of course, it is t he task of the critics to tell us which of the titles to treat as literature, and why. Therefore, part of the reason why the reading public seems to know very little beyond what had been read as part of certificate examinations in literature must be that t he critics hav e not always played their part satisfactorily. A literary work needs to be widely discussed and presented in a variety of contexts to catch the attention of the reading public. Another reason is one often mentioned, which is that the Nigeria educational n system has not been successful in training the people who pass through it in the discipline of reading. Many a secondary school educated Nigerian has been able to pass his examinations in literature by studying publications of the questionan danswer type, which are coming out all the time, and are therefore relatively inexpensive. Undoubtedly, this sort of reading matter may help to focus the minds of the young learners on the facts which they must supply in order to achieve success and to th e kinds of iss them. tasks is ues that the examiners require of However, reading for the gathering of information relevant for specific only an aspect of the training regime, and it can do real harm if it lacks the support of reading as a continuous exercis Teaching a e. t the secondary school level should aim at giving the student good quality education.

This book is fabulous! The main character is strong, independent and warm. None of the cold stuff I’ve read before. There is so much interesting research that has gone into this story. Looking forward to every page to come. 5 stars across the board!

The concept of this book is fascinating with its historical references to past events and people, and the way it brings a traditional vampire story to life with each poetic word. Each chapter has me on the edge of my seat and I cannot wait to read more!
