It had been several weeks since then. I gathered the materials for what I wanted to do. I got the cord by getting fiber from old milkweed and reverse wrapping it. I made the beads by carving wood and finding dyes like madder. I got feathers from shooting down various fowl with a blowgun I made out of river cane. I had gone on several hunts now. I was also practicing daily with water.
I had an interesting theory I was going to test out next time I was in combat. Everything drinks water. The amount of times we pee does not get rid of all the water. So does that mean that theorically, I could rip out someone's stomach using water? Of course, I would not wish such a fate on anyone but my enemies. Due to this, I have not killed any animals like that.
My headress was finally done. It had cords tied around tiny holes in the pelt that I punched in. Those cords had light red, white and dark blood red for colored beads. I could pulled down the pantheriun's head and it would cover my face. Of course I cut out the eyes so I could see. I measured the headress using my bundled up pelt as a reference. I also made a choker out of the pantheriun teeth. I transformed the pantheriun claws into tiny daggers. They may be slightly small for a dagger but pantheriun claws are tough.
I had given up the idea of making a loom because I did not want to go kill more people when I could just use pelts and hides for clothes. My current clothes were a pair of shorts reaching a little above my knees and a shirt with no sleeves. My shorts and shirt were both stitched together from rabbit fur. I swore when I got back I was going to ask that lady how to weave.
My yams were still doing well, on top of that nobody else has been sniffing around this area so I was somewhat safe. That didn't mean I was letting my guard down though. I learned my lesson last time about not being prepared.
I had caught a couple of glimpses of that dire nimr. I don't know what it is doing. Whether it is friend or foe only time will tell. It was looking much healthier though, from recent wounds I could tell it had grown much stronger. If it was foe, I don't know if I could kill it.
