Journal of Evan Thomas,
"Boot camp, a different place then the rest of the world. i think of this place as the Science lab that created super humans to go out and fight to protect. all most a brain wash telling them they will go home hero's with metals on there uniform as there welcomed home...bullshit i say, i just want to take pictures show the world beauty not war.. but, i'm here for revenge those Nazi scum took my fathers life. Even that mother was all ready in an emotional position with my fathers death. Just her thinking of losing her son almost kills her. I love my mother very much, she helped me so much and i want to make sure that she can rest easy when i take revenge. Anyway, i want to get in the rank my father was Sargent.. but knowing me i'll only make it to Corporal, that rank isn't that bad it, has enough respect for others.. but i'll write to her to show her how i'm doing hopefully she stays until i return.. i should report in before they leave me. i will write soon.

letter to Mr. Evan Thomas from Mrs. Lilly Thomas
"Dear Evan,
I've missed your company, even as i wake up i still see your father smiling. it makes my heart ache thinking your going to France. i hope you will write to me, i would like to know if Sargent Mcready is still there. Him and your father where good pals..His best friend you could say, i remember seeing them when they both where privates. So eager to fight and to shed blood it was quite terrifying but how happy they where reminded me of the wedding night...Oh i'm sorry dear, did i gross you out? anyway it is getting late i hope you make some friends."
