Luc and I were still standing in the backyard when Lee slowly returned, landing in one of the patio chairs as he sighed heavily. He seemed exhausted as he closed his eyes, running his hand through his hair as he melted into the chair.
"I am far too old for this," the pixie groaned, and I accepted Luc's hand as we walked back toward the house. Lee opened his eyes as he felt us approach, a weary look on his face. "Are you staying?"
"No point in going out," I shrugged, looking up to the night sky. "We've wasted too much of the night."
"Fair," Lee agreed, closing his eyes again as he rocked in the chair. "What's next?"
"Searching records of Bellas after his fall. We need to find out everything he managed to learn." I revealed, watching as the pixie nodded in agreement. "I need to unlock Cerviel's power in me if I want to stand any chance against Adam."
