(Lucien)
"Enough," I panted as Azger summoned their shield, watching me with a harsh expression as they pushed the hair from their face. The gold chains bounced against their chest as they sighed, motioning me to sit on the patio chair. "You need to catch your breath,"
"No, I-"
"Rest, Lucien. We have all night." Azger insisted and I scowled softly as I sat down, annoyed by their insistence. Azger was in their male form and they frowned at me as I turned away. Controlling my ability to absorb magic was harder than I thought it would be, and I groaned with my own lack of progress. The pain from my thirst was also distracting. and I desperately wanted to take blood. I was lucky that my demonic side kept me from becoming blood-crazed, but it didn't help me escape the pain.
