Gu Hui escape

Gu Hui inhaled deeply, trying to control the way she spoke as she tried to express the things that had been screaming at her mind. Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke, "H-How are , I mean how is the Emperor and the crown prince reacting about this. Are they trying to find any antidote or any solution for this virus as fast as possible or...?"

Before she could receive an answer, the young maid abruptly interrupted her, pushing her further towards the carriage . Gu Hui was startled by the interruption and briefly lost her focus.

"Why are you so concerned with the Gu province?" she inquired, her voice still filled with unease. " Stop wasting my and your time with your questions and load the items onto the carriage right away. By tomorrow morning, they must arrive in the Gu province. There, the situation is very bad.?".

" Oh god now days these maids acts as they are some princess, they don't want to work uff " saying this she walks away from there noting something.

Gu Hui curiously looked here and there. She saw few maids loading goods a little far from her. This was a good chance to escape.

she felt a sense of anxiety and determination to escape the palace . She was afraid for her people and her dynasty. More then her life they are important to her.

Taking advantage of the chance that no one was looking at her , she climbed into the carriage while covering herself with extra clothing and several wool blankets.

After an hour, Gu Hui breathe deeply in relief as the carriage started to move . She successfully and secretly left the Huxia palace's walls. To her surprise, the carriage suddenly stopped at the entrance to the royal palace.

A commanding voice broke the silence, the guards lower their heads in respect.

"Your Royal Highness,"

"Your Royal Highness," they collectively greeted their crown prince, Jin Yuchen.

The crown prince Jin Yuchen looked over the row of carriages carrying different things. His gaze eventually fell upon the carriage prepared by the Huxia Palace.

He walked forward the carriage and stopped in front of one of the carriage in which Gu Hui was hiding.

Gu Hui's heart pounded with fear. Her nervousness increased as she hear his footsteps becoming closer.

Jin Yuchen raised his hand and was about to lift the woolen blankets when the head eunuch said" "Your Royal Highness, is there something missing ? Would you like me to inspect the goods once again?" the head eunuch said bowing deeply.

Jin Yuchen shook his head, with an expressionless face "No need. But why aren't these woolen blankets and clothes wrapped in protective coverings? It's the rainy season, and they might get wet. Ensure they are protected carefully ," he instructed, his voice calm and authoritative.

The head eunuch nodded obediently. "As you command, Your Royal Highness," he acknowledged and turned his attention to a group of maids, directing them to quickly cover the carriage and safeguard its contents.

Under the wooden blanket and pile of clothes , Gu Hui silently prayed in her heart, to be unnoticed or caught by Jin Yuchen and any other . She couldn't help but fear that she would be again locked in the huxia palace , if he were to discover her secret escape attempt.

The group of maids covered the carriage which must be protected including the carriage Gu Hui was hiding..

Finally, the carriage moved out of the palace. Inside the carriage, Gu Hui breathed a sigh of relief and eagerly awaited for their arrival in her dynasty. She couldn't help but feel an strong desire to meet her people and help them in any way she could.

Jin Yuchen looked at the moving carriage and felt in his heart that something was wrong. He sensed that something was missing.

While in the Si clan, Madam Si was deeply unhappy to see her son preparing to depart for Gu province. She was filled with fear for her son's safety and opposed his journey to such a deadliest place.

Gazing at her husband, she voiced her concerns, "Why must our son go there at this moment? Are you unaware that Gu province is one of the most heavily affected province? My dear husband, why didn't you asked or prevent the Emperor from sending our son there now in this situation?"

Madam Si's voice carried a mixture of frustration and desperation, as she questioned her husband's actions and pleaded for an explanation. Her worry for her son's well-being was right in her words.

"Yes, father, you should have stopped the Emperor. What if something happens to my brother?" Young Miss Si said, tears streaming down her face as she voiced her concerns.

"Do you see anyone here, including myself, happy about sending our son to the most affected province?" Prime Minister Si angrily screamed angrily at his family. They all were nagging him and scolding him as he was the one responsible to send his son to Gu province now.

Upon hearing this, Madam Si looked around the room. She saw , old Madam Si, her daughter Young Miss Si, and even her son himself, all immersed in tears and sorrow. Their expressions reflected their shared unhappiness and gloom.

Madam Si suddenly started crying silently. Seeing this Old madam Si also started crying and young miss Si started crying loudly.

" You three stop all your drama" Old master Si suddenly screamed in anger and frustration.
