The first time that he had seen Yi Ling in Huaxia, his heart bleeds for her. His eyes shed tears that he could not explain. He wanted to keep her for himself as if he was afraid to lose her. If what his son was telling the truth, then why would his wife punish him? Unless... Unless Yi Ling was indeed Meiling. This realization hit him hard, he sat back down on his throne unconsciously.
