A young man could be seen sighing on the second floor of a restaurant. He was dressed in purple robes and looked like a prince charming, with long dark hair, brown eyes, and a dimple on his right cheek. This was Jin Minzhe, currently in Jun Kingdom, ranked the 3rd among the high-ranked kingdoms.
Bored to death, he kept sighing as he looked over the bustling street below, his mind absent. He had been roaming the land for years, searching for something he couldn't find. He clenched his fist.
"That old man! If I see him again, I will surely give him a beating!" he muttered furiously.
Jin Minzhe had been trying to find his mother ever since he had a gut feeling she was alive. He believed his father knew where she was or was hiding her.
"Tskk.. Where the heck did my father go? I know he can't be in heaven. He detested that other man up there, so he could only stay in Huaxia," he bit his nail, deep in thought. He knew his father wouldn't stay in a deserted area with no spiritual energy, which is why he searched the high-ranked kingdoms. He had been in Jun Kingdom for almost two months. He also knew his father couldn't move on his own, so his mother must have been accompanying him.
He smirked, realizing that the child he saw six years ago by the river was his mother. The young and beautiful woman was his mother. He was sure of it when he saw her soul floating up on the tree. She had the same look as that ten-year-old child. It just didn't occur to him then because the pictures his father drew were of a much more mature woman. His father didn't have any younger drawings of his mother. He rubbed his chin, excited at the thought of meeting her.
While lost in thought, he suddenly felt an oppressing aura on the street below. His brows furrowed as he looked at the source. His eyes widened in disbelief.
"#@!#!@$!! Why is Almighty King Jin in Huaxia???!!!!" Jin Minzhe gripped the railing tightly.
Indeed, a man in black robes was walking down the street. His dark hair was shining and alluring, and his purple eyes made anyone who looked at them drown. He wasn't even trying to disguise himself, attracting onlookers. Ladies and gentlemen stared at him, idolizing his looks. He walked as if he owned the world, like a deity descended from heaven. Jin Minzhe was furious and knew he had to let his father know about this!
-----------------------------------
King Jin felt someone staring at him differently, with pure anger instead of idolizing eyes. He almost sensed a killing aura. When he looked at the second-floor window of a restaurant, no one was there. Odd, he thought. He couldn't sense any living person inside the room. His brows crossed, and he left as if nothing had happened.
-----------------------------------
"Crap! That was close!" Jin Minzhe wiped the sweat from his forehead. "Good thing Father gave me a trinket. It did help conceal my aura from that madman! Tskk." He pulled a necklace from his inner robes. The pendant was made of sapphire jade, resembling his mother's ring shaped like a Blue Rose.
Jin Minzhe stared at it for a while, lost in thought. "Father, I miss you. I miss Mother too. Please let me find you this time. I've been waiting so long to meet her." He silently wiped a teardrop from his eye.
*Drops a bomb*
Woops.. ??? Did you guess it right? :D

I've been posting 2 chapters a day now. Both together would range to 1000-2000 words. Someone suggested to lower my posting so I don't burned out. This novel haven't reached its 3rd week yet and It's close to a 100 chapters already. I do feel like a little flustered, but all is well. Don't worry. :D
Thanks for always reading! <3 uwu
