The Era of a Villain

Good? Bad? Strong? Weak? How are they decided? A young man, along with 40% of the population of the Earth, is transported to a different world. The young man was in a hospital bed in a coma, blissfully unaware he was not on the same—planet he was born on. Imagine waking in an unknown place with a purple-skinned man checking your vitals. 'Oh, a purple man? How nice they bought Barney the dinosaur to see me.' "Doctor! Doctor, the man passed out!" Vincent did not pass out; he closed his eyes because the lights blinded him. "Vincent Frost, the being who has sponsored you, has chosen you to be a villain. The villain system is now bounded and can't be removed." Vincent's mind, which was still cloudy, became clear instantly. He immediately shot up in his bed and screamed. You have to be kidding me! I created the cover using Webnovel tools; it has nothing to do with my character. Join our so-called villain and his journey to becoming a villain.

Markus received looks from everyone. Caden also gave him a look. "Sorry, master, I got a little too excited." Jekel turned to Blake and the others. "Would you or your brothers be interested in a wager?" Blake's eyes sharpened as he placed his hands on the pouch on his side.

"What kind of wager?" Ryker and Kyle's interests were peaked. Jekel smiled and gestured towards Vincent on the screen. "We will bet on what tactic Vincent will use on the caught spies. He will get them to change sides by tricking them into a contract that will ultimately kill them."

Ryker, Blake, and Kyle looked at each other. "I think he will use the ingredients to make them spill their secrets." Ryker was full of confidence. "That is stupid, and even a child wouldn't fall that. Vincent will use the three women to seduce the spies and make them give up all of their secrets." Blake said smugly.

Kyle was the last one who didn't say his thoughts. "Mr. Jekel, what happens if we lose? What happens if we say the correct tactic?" Jekel chuckled. "I like you. If you lose, I want to see you in your animal transformations and take samples. I will swear a contract not to use or spread my findings."

Richard whipped his head around and looked at his boys. His eyes spoke volumes. Kyle thought about Vincent and what he had done so far and laughed. "I know what he is going to do. He will use their greed and desperation against them. He will also involve his contract that makes them believe they are safe and then make them spy for him." Jekel nodded his head. "Very well, gentlemen. Let us watch Vincent."

Weapons Shop on the Ship.

Vincent waited for the girls to return and looked around the shop. "Bruno, go stand over there in that corner by the door. Wear this mask." Bruno gave him a questioning look but still did what he was told. "Takashi, I want you to find the heaviest, most durable object, then drop it." Takahi smiled. 'I'm not sure what you are up to, but that smile you gave earlier tells me I made the right choice to join you.'

The girls came back with a group of five guys. The girls were laughing and hugging their arms. 'Idiots. They must not have heard the phrase the prettiest of flowers have the sharpest thorns.' Talia guided them over to Vincent. 'Showtime.'

"I told you he was arrogant. Those two guys from earlier were only using him." Talia said while squeezing the man in front arms. 'Nice introduction.'

Vincent went along with her. "D-don't come near me. I will buy whatever you want. You only have to sign this contract first." The leader or the muscle head of the group smirked. He walked up to Vincent and grabbed his shirt. 'He was hired by someone smarter.'

"Great! That makes this easier. You can buy all of our equipment for me and my team. I will sign this contract. You will also stop bothering these beautiful ladies."

"I-I-I would, but I can't. You have to ask my boss first. He is really, really strong. If I were to say his name, loud sounds would go off." Takashi heard him and got ready to drop the hammer he found.

The man sneered. "Oh yeah? I wanna hear his so-called powerful name." Vincent rapidly shook his head no. The man picked him up off the ground. "Spill it or else."

"O-ok! Ok! I don't hurt me." The man dropped him and crossed his arms in front of himself. Vincent rubbed out the wrinkles in his shirt and stood back up. "H-his name is Uranus."

*CRASH*

The man and his crew jumped at the sound. Talia and the other girls almost broke character. Vincent winked at them and then looked at Bruno. Bruno took that as his cue.

He made a show of stomping slightly. He started walking over to them. Vincent activated the skill of fear control and used it on the man and his team.

"M-master, I tried to warn them, I really did! Please don't kill me! I want to awaken very badly." Vincent made a show of him shaking and sweating. Talia and the others couldn't believe the performance he was putting on.

The man and his team felt their fear increase with every step Bruno took towards them. Bruno got halfway to them when the man broke. "Sir, I promise not ever to do this again. If I had known you were so strong, I wouldn't have dared accept this job from those brats!"

His team also agreed and got on their knees. Bruno didn't know what to do, so he pointed at Vincent. They all turned back at him. "Please save us! I don't want to die like this."

"All of you have to sign this contract to live. You must also give us all of your money and storage devices." The man didn't think twice and signed. His team also signed without reading.

Vincent smiled and started to laugh. His cowardly demeanor disappeared as if it were fog. He stood up and cracked his knuckles. "You guys are a bunch of idiots." The man figured out that he had been tricked. He tried to lash out but collapsed in pain.

"No, no, you can't attack me. Do you want to die?" Vincent ruffled his head. Talia and the others came on his side. Bruno took off the mask and gave it back to Vincent.

"Greed, desperation, pride, and lust made you fall into my plan perfectly." Takashi whistled at him. "Man, you are twisted." Talia chimed in. "You mean he is a con artist." Trent was on the side the entire time. "Trent, sorry about leaving you out of the plan. I used one of my skills on you, so they only focused on me." Trent waved his hands. "You have nothing to apologize for. I doubt I would have been helpful."

Vincent turned towards the man. He tossed a blank notebook to him. "Write everything you know about yourselves and the ones that hired you. After that, you will hand over your money and storage devices. All of you will return with new equipment and pretend that you 'forced' me to buy it. If your employers ask about our capabilities, you will tell them this information."

It didn't pass Talia's mind that Vincent must have prepared for this situation. The others also thought about how far Vincent thought ahead. It gave them all chills. Talia's thoughts scared her the more she thought about Vincent. 'What is scarier? Your mind? Your strength? Your bloodline? I haven't found a weakness yet. You can't possibly be perfect. Can you?'

Planet Strara

Richard let out a sigh as he watched Vincent's performance. Jekel had a sour face. "Don't be a sourpuss, Kelly," Pyea told Jekel. Jekel shot her a look. "Do. Not. Call. Me. That." Ryker and Blake looked at Kyle, who was smiling smugly. Ryker felt his forehead. Kyle slapped his hand away. "What are you doing?" "I needed to see if you had a fever. You can't be my little brother; you have always correctly predicted Vincent's actions."

Jekel sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "What do you want? You have won fair and square. It can be something for your personal use or something for the Grimms."

Kyle didn't even think about his answer. "I want something for the Grimms." Jekel waved his hands, and a scroll and a book came out. The book is for you, and the scroll is a mind technique anyone can use along with any element."

Kyle didn't thank him since that would make it seem like he was rubbing in the fact that he was right. He gave the scroll to Richard, who put it away in his storage ring. Kyle did the same with the book. No one noticed Caden had a slight smile on his face.
