The Tragedy Erupts 3

'5 days had passed since I talked to the Apocalypse Dragon, we survived due to the novels we read as references, to the animes me and my mother watched and then to the games I played.' Raven never knew that reading novels, watching animes and playing games would come in handy.

' I have to thank my mother who is obsessed with the Japanese culture. Thank you Japan for making Fantasy Animes and to those mangakas, also to the authors and game developers.' He looked around and saw his mother training her Ice power.

Withing this 5 days Raven and his mother heeded the Apocalypse Dragon advice and train and survive. And this past few days, they trained their power, his mother hunted the pig like orcs, because according to the novels, adventurers eat monster meat and the orc looks likes a pig. At first they hesitated and now they could eat a ton of meat.

" Raven the meat is ready!" he turned around and saw Natsu waving the orc meat. Natsu is a 28 year old Japanese man, we met him when we were looking for food. He was being attacked and we rescued him along the process. He can emit fire, and as I thought his parents are also otakus that love F*iry Ta*l, just like my mother, but he isn't 'human' anymore, he transformed into a Dragon Newt, the coincidences are terrifying.

As he watched his mother heading towards the meat, a little hand grab hold of his hand. Without looking he already knew who it is.

" Is something the matter, Hannah?" She is a beastkin, Raven saw the cat ears twitched and then her tail swinging. They met her 3 days ago, she is beside her mother's corpse, a scene that a 11 year old shouldn't have seen or even experience. We took care of her for these past 3 days. She is a summoner, she can summon beast, but she can only summon beast that she had tamed and the summons are only limited, even so, thanks to her night watch became easy.

" Hey can't you get a move on you're blocking the way." a pair of sharp eyes glared at him, another beastkin a dog to be precised and the childhood friend of Hannah they're both the same age, his parents are long gone when they entrusted him to Hannah's parents before the 'Tragedy'.

" Hey old man, can you even hear me?" I just smiled and thought of something, ' Hannah is a quiet and obedient child, what happened to this dog?' The boys name is Ace his power is Enlargement, he can make his body larger or any part of his body .

" You do know being jealous is bad right?" Raven smiled and was about to reach for the boy, and the boy as if annoyed bit Raven's arm. 'His fangs kinda hurt, but thank goodness my arm isn't bleeding.' Raven just looked at the biting little dog and said

" Shouldn't dogs be obedient?" He released his mouth and replied, " I am a wolf not a dog!" Raven just laugh it off, and messed the boys hair, and ace walk beside him towards the dining table, inside a house they found along the way.

While looking at his companions eating he began pondering in his thoughts again, when he remembered what happened yesterday he couldn't help but get immersed in his thoughts, when the group look at him, they already knew, this person cannot be talked to, afterall they all survived because of him, because of his plans, they just thought he is thinking of another way to survive. So they just let him be and talk amongst themselves, while the beast stood guard.

' Look at them must be nice having cool and flashy powers.' if only the group could hear his thoughts, they would know that he is just envious. ' I wish I could have a flashy power too.' Raven began crying in his mind, his envy started yesterday.

*flashback*

As the group was about to go hunting for an orc, he decided to go, because he was bored, and he doesn't like it when even the kids are more useful than him. So they agreed and began their hunt.

When they saw 4 orcs ahead they decided that each one of them will hunt one orc. Natsu dashed forward and shouted, " Roar of the Fire Dragon!" and one of the orcs was burnt to death, while the others headed towards the group. Then his mother came forward, as she looked at Raven and winked while shouting, " Ice Maker Lance." As the lances pierced its target. Only 2 remaining.

He was astonished and thought ' Sh*t I would also want to do that. Just once' His mind was filled with envy. ' If my regeneration is just like B*n from the 7 De*dl* Sin*.' then he looked at the children, he knew they were too young to know any animes and stuff, but he was wrong.

He looked at Hannah as he saw her bit her thumb he knows this technique, it was one of his favourite show and the jutsu he always do when he was a kid.

" It's the Summo..."

*Earlier before the hunt *

" What do you guys think is the reason why Raven wanted to join us at the hunt?" Rea ask the group.

" Maybe he is bored at the house." Natsu replied.

" Maybe he feels useless or powerless because he only has regeneration, that can't even heal others" Ace replied, living both the adults astonished.

" Maybe he was worried about us and wanted to check if our method is effective or if we are strong enough to protect ourselves." The group stared at Hannah and agreed with her words.

" Well this is the plan, let us show off in our hunt today, we should reassure him that he doesn't need to worry about us," and everyone nodded, and she turn towards the kids "Kids do you know any animes?" Rea ask.

Both shook their head in response. Rea first turned to Hannah and said " Well then Hannah pretend to bite the finger print of your thumb and put your palm on the ground and then shout this words." Hannah agreed for the sake of Raven.

" SUMMONING JUTSU!!" Hannah shouted, and a Large Bear was summoned and killed the orc.

'AGHHHHH!!!!!!' Raven is smiling on the outside and screaming with Envy on the inside. ' This is not Fair!!!' Now he was crying on the inside. He shifted his head towards Ace because he knows Ace wouldn't do this things.

* Earlier *

Rea is now talking to Ace.

" Ace your turn. Ace suck your thumb then blew it like your blowing a balloon, then enlarge your arm" Natsu knows what Rea is aiming for and smiled and nodded with approval. " Then you should shout.."

As his arm swelled and became larger Ace prepared a punch and shouted.

" THIRD GEAR! GIANT PISTOL!!!" and punched the orc causing it to crash in the wall. Now it was the show he admires the most. His soul left of envy and just left a husk on the ground.

All of them was happy showing off happily because of what they talked about before the hunt.

The group cheered and collected the orc meat, while a large Bear and a large Tiger was carrying the luggages. After collecting them, they went straight to Raven.

" Sorry it took so long." His mother was the first to talk.

" It is fine, all of you became so strong." he replied

" Don't worry, we're a team, we will always look out for each other." Coming from the most dependable man of the team, Natsu.

" Yes we're a team, and that is what a team is." He replied.

" I did my best, did I do good?" The sweetest little girl come forward expecting something.

" Yes you did great." he replied as he patted her head.

" Hmmp I also did great, my shirt even got torn." as he pointed out his at the ripped of his shirt.

" Yes I know, I know both of you did great." as he also patted the little boy.

The two adults behind are looking at the scene and filled their hearts with joy. But they didn't know all of them was talking to a soulless body. Because his soul had already been crashed by the sudden the realization, that he was pathetic. He will never do something cool like the protagonist of the animes he loved.

'Not fair. Not fair. Not fair. Not fair'

As they headed back, Raven is still screaming inside, on how it was not fair. This wouldn't have happened if they didn't show off.

* End of Flashback *

He came back from his thoughts, when he realized

' Isn't it too peaceful? We should enjoy this peaceful days before the countdown ends.' He smiled and talk to the others.
