Scanned Reports (2)

~•Amara•~

I hurriedly placed the papers down on the small space next to my plate as I turned over the page using only one hand.

"How gruesome it is!" I could only comment on it as I finished reading the first report.

My eyes trailed to the man who was sitting across me. He was too busy devouring everything which was served before me, I doubted that he would have even paid attention to my words.

I was about to say something to get his attention, but he beat me to it.

"Just keep reading, and stack your questions up until after I am done." He repeated the same words from before, warning me politely not to interfere with his meal.

"Fine." I mumbled grumpily before trailing my eyes back to the papers which were now resting on the table.
