*Knock* *Knock*

Shuyun's eyelids twitched as the sound of tapping rang out throughout the room. Slowly opening his eyes, Shuyuns gaze fell upon the rooms door.

"One second"

Shuyun spoke as he raised his arms up in the air in a stretch. As his vision fell upon his clothes, he had realized that he had fell dead asleep the day prior.

'I should ask about the location of the shower...'

Looking around, there was no ensuite bathroom at all. Despite how luxurious the room was, the common amenities such as the toilet and shower were nowhere to be found.

'Surely, showers exist in this world?'

Shuyun got up as he made his way to the door. Upon opening it, a female maid appeared in his sight. Light green hair, green eyes, and perfect skin and proportions. She sported the traditional maid outfit, which was one of the few things he could recognize that earth also had. Though she was not comparable to Meiying in terms of beauty, shuyun started to think that all elves were on the levels of models from back on earth. Was there such a thing as ugly to this race?

"Good Morning Mister Shuyun, I am Yeyin. I was sent by the lady herself to act as your personal maid. As I was told this is your first time here, any questions you may have I am open to answering. First and foremost though, I don't believe you have any extra clothing, no?"

Shuyun shook his head.

"I don't, the clothes I have on currently is all I have..."

Yeyin nodded her head in understanding.

"I was wondering if Mister Shuyun would be okay with allowing me to measure you?"

"Sure, that is not a problem, come in"

Yeyin slightly bowed as entered the room, Shuyun closing the door behind her. As soon as Shuyun turned around to face her, she spoke.

"Could you stand in a T position?"

Shuyun nodded as he brought his feet together and raised his arms, forming a T pose. He had assumed that she would need to get close to him to measure, so as to not make her uncomfortable, he closed his eyes, waiting for her to approach him. But instead of a measuring tape revolving around his body, he felt a light breeze move around him. Confused, Shuyun opened his eyes. To his surprise, a tape measure was being used. But, instead of Yi herself manually applying it to his body, it stood floating in the air, changing every few seconds to new positions such as his height, waist, wrist and arm span.

Having not been in this current world for much time, he had really only seen this concept of 'qi' a few times, and had summarized the use from these experiences. To his perception, qi could be used in many miscellaneous ways. Whether that be combat in Ai's situation, for hiding and concealment in Meiyings situation, or even simple tasks of manipulating objects like in Yeyins situation, it seemed to him that qi was a very important part of the Elfin Races functioning society.

After a few more seconds, Yeyin was done.

"As I have now taken your measurements, the palace will put the making of your clothes to the utmost of importance. It should be more than a day so please bare these spare clothes we have on hand."

Yeyin waved her hand. On the room's bed, a set of purple robes and clothes appeared. She continued.

"The different hours of eating are spaced apart by 3 hours and breakfast is currently being brought to your room. If at any time you want to eat earlier, let me know as starting from now on, I will be your personal maid."

Yeyin was about to bow once again before he stopped her.

"As your going to be my personal maid, there is no need for such conduct between us."

Yeyins eyes slightly widened in surprise as she heard his words, her gaze unreservedly staring back at his.

Although from her first impression of him she knew he was kind hearted, she knew he was of high position. Having known that Ai had personally showed him to his room, and even had an order from the Queen herself to act as his personal maid, she knew his status was all but ordinary. Hers was equally amazing had he'd known, but having interacted with many important beings whether that be important delegates from other realms and races or members of important elfin families, most carried a strong sense of pride that none could hide as if it was encrypted in their very bones. Though for Shuyun, it seemed that even with his high position, he possessed no pride nor arrogance. This placed him in an even more favourable light in her eyes. She was truly excited to serve under him, wondering where this might take her.

"Thank you"

Yeyin spoke as she straightened her posture.

"I do have one question for you though"

Yeyin showed a light smile on her face as she responded.

"Anything"

But she was not ready for his next words.

"How would one go about learning qi?"
