A Dangerous Situation

But as quickly as it came, the light returned. As if a supernova occurred before her, even though she had her head turned and had reinforced her body with her nature qi, it did nothing to stop the light from protruding her very being. As if time and gravity itself had been taken and returned within an instant, she was suddenly expelled into the air from off of her feet.

Thrown against the marble of the ancient room, even given her immense power, it seemed it was useless in front of the sudden explosive might of Natures Energy. It wasn't even until several minutes later that her vision restored, granting her eyes the extraordinary view.

Meiying seemed to no longer have a physical body. To the horror of her mother, Meiying's body no longer possessed its physical quality. Appearing almost transparent, the shape of Meiying's body was only identifiable by the many vein-like lines of the same pure light wrapped around her entire body.

The Tree, who before was expending energy to its many roots that seemed to extend to infinity, seemed to instead have reserved its flow. The mystical, pure energy now flowing into Meiying instead of out into the world.

Suddenly, she felt a burst of wind pass her wind.

The surprises did not stop, and while the situation with her daughter may be fine, as she trusted the Tree against having any malicious intent against her daughter, this next one truly had her feeling true fear. Though this time, it was not for the concern of her daughter and the possibility of how she may be treated prior to her connection awakening.

Her eyes started wide at the scene before her.

The walls of the room faded, as if it had never existed before, revealing the Ever Moving Forest. Though what had her frozen in fear was not the Forest, but what was above her. Situated in the Sky of the Ever Moving Forest, lied the Elfin Realm.

The Ever Moving Forest had suddenly lost its concealment, no longer existing within the pocket of reality, now exposed to the entire realm. She could see her palace, the many buildings and landscape of the Realm. WIth her special vision, she could see the head tilts of many in her direction, looking at the sudden abnormality. Though, in the next moment, the concealment once again appeared, the Elfin Realm disappearing from the skies.

"Mother, what is that?"

A little boy and her mother looked up towards the sky

An upside-down forest rested in the sky. Greenery beyond the end of sight stretched the entirety of the sky. At the center, a strangle source of bright pure light, as if a second sun had appeared. Though, within the next instant, it had disappeared.

The Mother and Son stood confused, much like many other elves.

Though, while many stood dumbfounded, a certain few made a getaway towards the ends of the realm.

The Realms heart, The Grand World Foundation, along with the sacred land of the Ever Moving Forest, had revealed itself in its entirety, something that had never happened before. Though only for a second, this situation had suddenly put the realms safety in jeopardy. This was because she knew elves that had been bought out by other races couldn't have missed such a mythical scene.

The Elfin Race had been the most powerful of all, continuously being the source of envy for all other races and powers. The amount of prying eyes waiting for a mistake to cause its downfall were many, an amount uncountable. The secrets, though, had been kept, as unless a former or current Queen of the Elves revealed such information, secrets such as the Forest and Grand Foundation, the hearts of the realm and keys to developing future Queens, would forever remain out of view for all others.

But now, they have been revealed.

She looked towards her daughter, raising her hand as if she caressing her daughters cheek from a far.

Knowing that Meiying's fate was left to the Tree, she could only await her return when the Tree would allow her too. While she held immense respect for such a 'being', the prospect of withholding her daughter still made her feel uneasy. This was because, she was the only family she had in this life.

"Return to me soon, Meiying" calling her daughter by her name for the first time, she felt strange. Maybe one day, Shuyun could also work wonders and grant her too a name, having a name her daughter could call her by.

She quickly disappeared from the forest soon after, rushing to attend matters that no other queen before had experienced. In this endeavour, she truly was alone without guidance.

A/N: In case it was confusing, the Ever Moving Forest out of the pocket of reality appeared parallel to the Elvin Realm. From the perspective of a citizen, they would've seen an infinite upside-down forest in the sky. Other News: This novel is now under pending contract, so except that as soon as the contract is underway to have a mass release of chapters.
