The rest of the day after that was pretty normal. Upon the ring of the 6th bell it was time to go home. I decided to meet up with Connor in the halls on the way to pickup my ID.

"So, you dont know... where you went? What does that mean?" He asks.

"I mean I really dont know, one minute I was in class and the next I was in a void like space."

"... sure, and what else happened?" He presses.

"Something about selecting a class?" I respond, not fully sure myself if it was real or not.

"Ez... please lay off the books..." He says flatly.

"Whatever man..."

We walk into the classroom to quite the scene. A huge swirling portal behind the teacher's desk.

"Uh..huh... you see it too right?" I ask.

"Yep... uh, should we?" Connor responds.

"You got your knife?"

"Always,"

"Lets go," I answer.

We step into the portal and the first thing we are met with is cavernous terrain, and grunting noises far off in the distance.

"Well then," I step forward, "Status!"

"Build?" I say and another hologram appears to my left.

"Uh... well... connor lets go deeper but.. can you hand me your knife?" I ask

"Yeah, here," he hands it over.

We begin walking and after what seems like half an hour we come upon a group of goblins, who were now - for some reason - holding our math teacher captive.

"KRIII" One cries out before running at me.

Without thinking I slice the goblin across the chest, and stab it in the heart. This sends the nearby goblins into a frenzy and they all charge. Amidst the assault, with the help of their own barracades, I slowly wittle down their numbers until it's just me, connor, our teacher, and one extra large goblin.

"Hobgoblin maybe.. "

"GROAHHHH" It growls and snarls.

I have to end this, and quickly.

"Connor, distract it. Ill take it out while you have its attention!"

"On it!" He runs directly in front of the goblin, who starts chasing him.

"Ez! Hurry!" He yells.

"Im coming!" I say and chase after the goblin, as im coming up behind it I leap towards its head and embed Connors knife in the back of its head.

"Heuh.. heuhh.. ohhokay. We did it! Haha!" We cheer.

"What the fuck... Connor Patral, Ezra Mantil?" Mrs. Johnson looks up, "what are you doing here?"

"We saw a portal in your classroom, we are here to help!" Connor responds, cutting the rope binding her.

"A portal?!" She asks, before casting us suspicious look, "Are you boys properly attending the Say No assemblies?!"

"Wait, if you didnt see the portal, then how did you get here?" I ask.

"Well I... you know what, now that you mention it, I dont quite know. I just heard a voice say 'now', and suddenly I was left here defenseless..." She responds.

"Right... and a portal is less believable? Connor, help her up. I need to try something real quick, so ill meetup with you before we exit," I say wiping the dust off of my clothes.

"Come on Mrs. Johnson," he says helping her towards the way we came.
