Chapter 49: Fall Then Rise

The battles were approaching their climax. But things were turning around in Belle's battle with Laura. Laura controlled the water and launched it at Belle. She quickly created a magic shield in front of her to shield herself. The waves hit her shield and pushed her back, the ground being swept away by the overwhelming currents of water. Belle thought to herself:

"Dammit, I need to hold on longer. Boost Magic, Reflection Magic."

Belle cast an Enhancement spell on the shield and a layer of Reflection on the outside of the shield. Belle was able to partially control Laura's water flow and control two streams of water that split from the main stream to attack her. Laura felt she was about to be attacked, and suddenly she put her hood over her head. On the hood there is a blue diamond in the shape of a diamond and gold cupping around it. Laura activates "Eyes of Reality", allowing her to foresee all enemy attacks ten seconds in advance. While activating her eyes, Laura entered another dimension that no one could see. The body stayed but the soul entered that dimension, everything was very slow in this dimension. Laura saw that two streams of water would attack her, she immediately used magic to change the future. In those ten seconds, Laura can change many things. She used Reverse Magic, turning the water around and attacking Belle. Laura deactivated the Magic Eyes, everything went back to normal, but it took five minutes before it could be used again. Belle suddenly felt the two currents of water she controlled turned towards her and slammed into her. Belle was pushed back, her magic shield shattered, and the torrent of water continued to slam into her. Belle was badly injured, she was still standing in the water, she couldn't fly because her wings were wet. Laura raised the water up high and engulfed Belle inside. Belle hastily casts Bubble Magic and creates a bubble of water over her head for air to breathe. Belle sighed and said:

"Oh no."

Belle tried throwing a light orb into the water to escape, but it bounced back inside and was dissolved by the water. Belle thought to herself:

"I have to find a way to get out, my air is running out."

Laura did not let Belle think, but pressed water to make Belle's bubbles gradually smaller. Belle ran out of options, she had to activate the elemental flow. Belle activates "Eyes of Energy" and tries to wave her wand against the strong water pressure and says:

"Nature's Symphony!"

Belle raised a wall of vines around Laura's water column. The vines absorbed water from the water column and gave Belle the chance to escape. Belle lifted half of her body out of the water column and spread her dragonfly wings and flapped them to dry quickly. Laura released elemental beams in one direction at Belle. Belle quickly waved her wand and manipulated the vines to break the orbs to buy time to escape. The wings were dry, Belle hurriedly flew outside and rushed to attack Laura. Laura summoned magical weapons from the magic circles and launched them at Belle. Belle also controlled the vines for cover and deflected Laura's attacks. Belle sped forward and confronted Laura directly. She activated the elemental flow instantly and focused the flow on the tip of her wand. Belle said loudly:

"Heaven Strike!"

Belle fired a beam of light energy straight at Laura. Laura had no intention of being defensive at all. The energy beam shot straight at Laura and created an explosion with a great impact that sent Belle back. Belle slowly stood up and hastily stopped activating the elemental flow when accidentally holding it for two minutes. Belle stood up and breathed a sigh of relief, she said wearily:

"It's over."

But before she could rejoice, Belle saw Laura come out of the fire and there were no injuries, just a little bit of burnt robe. Belle couldn't be surprised to find that Laura had activated her elemental flow, her veins turning blue. Laura stopped the activation and said:

"Come on, girl. You can't defeat me."

Belle tried to keep her upright after so many wounds, she raised her wand and said:

"Okay then, we still have an unfinished dance."

Belle shot the energy beam but was immediately canceled by Laura. After that, Belle got weaker and weaker, only to see Laura release magical tentacles at her. Same with Grim and Exos side, Exos's speed was taking too much of a bigger advantage. Grim and Exos slid long and fast across the ground and slashed at each other. Exos parried too quickly and slashed just as fast, making it harder for Grim to fight back and more injured. Grim shouted angrily and leapt into the air and immediately slashed Exos's back. Exos instantly moved up to dodge just in time and hit Grim's back with his hilt and pinned him down. Grim spat out blood and plunged his sword into the ground to try to get up. Grim had a terrible backache, he thought to himself:

"Maybe some of my bones are broken."

Grim stretched his back to break the bone and brought his broken fingers back into place. Exos just stood there and looked at him in pain. Grim looked at his bloody left hand and thought to himself:

"Belle would usually come here to help me, but not this time. Maybe I should appreciate that more."

Grim straightened up and pointed his sword at Exos. His right hand was shaking from the injury, so Grim tied the hand with the chain so it wouldn't drop. Exos said calmly:

"You still want to continue? You're fighting in vain for no purpose."

Grim replied:

"What's the purpose? What's the reason? I don't care. I just need to fight for my life."

Grim immediately rushed to Exos and swung his sword at him. Exos parried the slash and swung his halberd down near Grim's neck. Grim bleeding even more, he immediately grabbed Exos's right wrist and jumped up. The halberd slashed down Grim's chest and stomach but he didn't care. Grim smiled wickedly and said:

"Holding the enemy's hand to strike, how clever I am."

Grim immediately slashed down at Exos very close but suddenly he had reached his limit. Grim swung his sword and missed and Exos immediately struck back. Exos punched Grim in the face, he spat out blood and fell to the ground. Grim turned back to normal and no longer had the strength to lift his body. Exos fought so hard that Grim crossed his limits and couldn't fight anymore. Exos removed Grim's hand from his wrist. Then he wiped Grim's blood on him and on the blade of the halberd with a handkerchief. Exos coldly said:

"It's the same in the end, defeat. I won't attack them so don't worry."

Exos put away the handkerchief and was about to leave. But suddenly Grim was still clinging to Exos's leg while his face was on the ground. Grim said weakly:

"Hey, I haven't given up yet. You're going somewhere."

At this time, Exos could not help but be surprised by Grim's recklessness and efforts. Another expression on his face other than coldness was really rare. Exos then kicked Grim back in the face causing him to lie on the ground and look up at the sky. Grim's left eye couldn't be opened anymore and blood ran all over his head. Exos said calmly:

"I can't finish you off, but I also don't want to see you die so slowly. So I'll leave you here."

Exos withdrew his weapon and turned to leave. Grim looked up at the sky, his mind now only seeing his people and Belle. Grim thought to himself:

"Belle, if I may say, I will always cherish you. If I die here, help me take care of the Dark Elves, they are what remains of this young but foolish and reckless king."

Grim closed his eyes and slowly slowed his breathing while Exos walked away coldly and emotionlessly. Above the clouds, the battle between Eva and Urizen was still unresolved. Eva and Urizen endured many injuries but still managed to hold on. Urizen stopped the fire behind his back and said:

"That's enough. You said you wanted to finish me off but you didn't make an attack that did too much damage. Do you really want to take back the kingdom, Eva?"

Eva replied wearily:

"Yes, I want to. I'm still trying harder."

Urizen said:

"You still don't want to kill me, do you? You're feeling pity for me, I told you not to let those thoughts bother you in this battle."

Eva replied:

"I don't, I just need to focus more on the battle and take advantage of your openings and strike hard at the right time."

Urizen said:

"Then take this for more motivation."

Urizen took out the glass jar containing the green flame containing the soul of King Arthur. He then dropped the jar on the ground in Eva's fear. Eva was scared and screamed:

"Father!"

She accidentally jumped off The Riser's back and free-falled to catch the glass jar. The Riser immediately jumped down to catch Eva. Urizen watched Eva fall, laughed and said:

"There's courage, but it's not enough."

Urizen emitted green flames all over his body, The Phoenix's red feathers were burned and he gradually transformed into a new form. Eva reached out her hand to try to catch the glass but it was too far away, she thought to herself:

"Come on, it's just a little bit more."

Eva was about to fall to the ground, so she used light power and created an energy rope. Eva throws the rope to hit the glass jar and she quickly pulls it up and retrieves it. But before she could rest, Eva realized she was only very close to the ground. Eva said aloud:

"The Riser!"

The Riser heard it so it immediately increased its speed down, it turned into a light streak in mid-air. The Riser quickly reduced its distance from Eva, caught her on its back and quickly flew up when only very close to the ground. Eva nervously looks inside the glass jar and sees the spirit of her father. Eva quickly put it inside her shirt and angrily looked up at Urizen. She immediately urged The Riser to launch an attack on Urizen. Eva became too angry and shouted:

"Urizen!"

Urizen was arrogant and said a loud:

"Yes, kill me with that anger!"

Eva and The Riser rushed towards the transforming Urizen when suddenly a huge explosion erupted in the sky. The impact of the explosion pushed the surrounding clouds away. Everyone looked up at the sky and at the smoke of the explosion. They were then surprised (except for Exos, of course, he was too cold) when they saw Urizen in his most powerful form, the Mystic Soul Half Phoenix form strangling Eva in midair. And in the other hand grasped The Riser's broken horn. Elastor worriedly said:

"Damn it, but I can't help her right now."

Mystic Soul Half Phoenix form transforms Urizen into a phoenix with white and diamond-shining plumage. He possesses tremendous power, fully worthy of his position as one of the most powerful Grand Generals of the Kraton Empire. Then Urizen took the glass bottle from Eva's shirt and said:

"You see, the ones coming are going to be very powerful, maybe even more powerful than me. There are eight of them and I'm only fifth among them. Look around, your friends still struggling with their enemies, they won't be able to take on those seven strongest."

Eva looked down painfully at the defeat of her friends. Zack transformed into his half-lion form, he released a huge flame that burned the surrounding ground. The hot air from Zack's flames was so hot that even from a distance, Elastor could feel his darkness burning. Elastor rushed to attack Zack but he immediately launched a large flame at him from his hand. Elastor rushed to create a dark shield but was burned by the flames. Elastor immediately backed down to defend but Zack frantically rushed forward and grabbed him by the neck and pinned him to the ground. Zack roared at Elastor's face and his left hand heated up burning his chest armor. Elastor was in extreme pain, so he quickly released a dark explosion on his chest that repelled Zack. Elastor stood up and saw a hot hand on the chest armor, he said:

"Damn it."

Zack slashed hard into the ground and raised large boulders. Zack swung his axe and hit the rocks, they burst into flames and turned into meteorites that shot at Elastor. Elastor crossed his arms to shield himself, he was attacked repeatedly. Elastor was forced to release another dark explosion but in return he would lose a lot of darkness. Zack roared even louder and spewed fire and Elastor. Elastor raised his sword and swung it to slash the flames. His darkness burned, his right bat wing was broken because Zack's flame was so hot, it was as hot as magma. The darkness was unable to resist the fire. Elastor knelt down because the flames were so great, but he still clutched the greatsword to keep him steady. The closer Zack got, the bigger the flames grew and the sooner Elastor burned. He could only try to concentrate all the darkness on the blade of the Star greatsword to fight back. Zack is extremely confident in his victory and has no desire to spare Elastor. Zack said arrogantly:

"You see, no one wants a second dark user. Even though you can use darkness like Zed, you're still too weak for this fire."

As for Hatai and Lamalia, he had also transformed into a half-elephant form and the ground around him was frozen with sub-zero temperatures. Lamalia controlled the giant rocks and launched them all at Hatai. They clung to Hatai and pressed hard against him. Lamalia hastily took off her right shoulder armor so she was lucky to be safe before more terrible damage. Hatai escaped and charged at Lamalia. He swung his hammer at her and Lamalia unleashed a powerful punch. The two terrible blows smashed into each other and created a great shock. The ground beneath their feet crumbled and pressed down. Lamalia was able to forcefully stop Hatai's attack, but she suddenly realized that her right arm armor was slowly freezing. Lamalia quickly added more rocks to stop the freezing, but it didn't work. Her armor was already thick, but the ice didn't stop go up. When the outer layer of the Rhino armor was completely frozen, Lamalia could only stand still. Hatai brutally threw another powerful kick with his huge elephant paw at Lamalia, knocking her away. Rhino armor was destroyed and Lamalia was weakened. Lamalia stood up and drew Zed's Returner sword to continue fighting. She shouted loudly and rushed to attack Hatai. Hatai also released a blast of ice at Lamalia and slowly froze her. Lamalia was worried as she watched her body gradually freeze, but she kept moving forward. But no matter how hard she tried, Lamalia stood still and couldn't fight anymore. Hatai looked at Lamalia scornfully and said:

"Confronting Death, there is only the cold of death."

Hatai held the hammer and waited for Urizen's decision to execute Lamalia. But at least Julia and Alata are still holding up well despite being weaker than Reaper. Reaper went on stealth and made surprise attacks in all directions at Julia and Alata. Alata swung his spear and released a wind that blew sand around and it stuck to Reaper's body revealing his location. Julia lunges forward and delivers a powerful punch to Reaper's stomach, causing him to spit out blood in pain. Reaper became so enraged that he tore off his raven beak mask to reveal a rotting face badly burned by the drug, his jawbone clearly rotten and his eyes white. Both Julia and Alata were disgusted with his face. Reaper roared like an angry beast and said:

"You pathetic bastards are reckless and stupid!"

Reaper took all of his poison and injected it into him. Julia worriedly said to Alata:

"If he injects all of it, what will happen?"

Alata replied with fear:

"Well, it's hard to describe."

Reaper transformed his body, his body caught fire and horror tentacles sprouted. Julia and Alata slowly backed away from his disfigurement. Reaper's body was slowly growing, he gradually turned into a disgusting monster that no one could describe. He sprouted four horse legs like a centaur, his crow wings not as if combined with Reaper's back but more like mingling with that pile of rotting flesh. Reaper's hands sprouted claws and piles of limbs along his hands. His belly was fat, making his four legs bent and moving very slowly. He didn't know what was inside his stomach but suddenly Alata swung his spear and launched a wind slash at it. That fat belly ripped open and spewed out green liquid like acid, the surrounding grass all melted when that liquid touched. Alata and Julia became even more scared and worried. On Reaper's body, there were more and more pimples containing poisonous gas. The gas, if described, would smell like a ton of chemicals mixed together and let it decompose for several days. Reaper's face was completely reduced to a skull, only a few muscles of the jaw and white eyes remained. Reaper said in a low and horror voice:

"Let the plague spread!"

Reaper became a monster with the name, Selaras, God of Flesh and Plague. Alata and Laura screamed in fear and ran away. Selaras roared and unleashed his tentacles to catch them both. He held them both up high and opened the jaws on that acid-filled stomach. Selaras frantically said:

"Die!"

Selaras slowly brought Julia and Alata down to the jaws on their stomachs that were ready to chew everything up. Both of them panicked and tried to get out but couldn't. Exos looked at Selaras and whispered:

"Idiot Reaper, he's used up all his power for now. He'll be killed soon too."

Eva witnessed it all, she burst into tears because of the hopelessness at this moment. Urizen said:

"If I had more power, I wish I could see you again when you're ready."

But this was not the time to give up, Eva had been through it all and she was no longer weak and afraid. Eva clung to Urizen's hand even more and replied angrily:

"I can still fight."

Urizen threw The Riser's horn to the ground and said:

"You have no more power, it's all over Eva. The alliance is gone, after today all the kingdoms will attack me, there will be no one left to defend the Continent. Maybe I should put my trust in the right person."

Urizen strangled Eva harder causing her to faint, then he threw her to the ground. The powerful Urizen watched Eva fall and coldly said:

"This is the end of the saviors."

Eva fell into the air, she began to remember the images from when the journey began. Eva remembered when Zed had trained and helped her learn how to fight. That his words made Eva more determined and brave with her motivation to become queen. Eva remembered Elastor's loyalty, that he doubted at times but still believed in fighting for her. And Elastor's attempt to overcome fate gave Eva the courage to confront Urizen. Eva remembered Julia for the unquestioning trust that gave Eva confidence in her decisions and in her friends. Eva remembered Alata, the purest and purest boy she had ever known. That the enemy was sometimes their friend and they also had their own suffering. Eva remembered Lamalia, how love can help her fight and become stronger, the kindness of a friend. It was also there that Eva learned the hard life of the Sandx people, that she must return to make a change. Eva remembered Belle, she helped Eva understand what the responsibilities and duties of a ruler of the kingdom were. It was Belle who helped Eva understand that being a queen was a life's destiny and that one must really try and be worthy of it. Eva remembered Grim, his recklessness and toughness helped Eva understand that sometimes it took danger and recklessness to win. And finally, Urizen, he helped her understand that sometimes the person she thought was the cruelest had the most tragic life. But Urizen did not let his mind be corrupted when he was covered in blood and served a tyrant empire anymore. He still bravely returned to be able to protect his homeland even with the smallest hope. Then they were perseverance and absolute trust in Eva's return. Urizen trusted Eva but she let him down. Eva opened her eyes, she looked at the sun and stretched out her hand as if to cling to it. Eva strongly said:

"I am Eva Gloria, queen of the Gloria kingdom. Give me your light, the sun."

Eva released the bright aura element in the sky. Everyone was getting weak and losing all hope when Eva couldn't save herself anymore. Suddenly Urizen, Laura, Exos and Emanda sensed that some kind of power had awakened. Emanda rushed to the balcony and said:

"This power? I've never felt someone with this high elemental energy."

Urizen looked at Eva and said worriedly:

"So, she's awakened."

Eva shouted:

"The Riser!"

Suddenly the halo of light flashed, blinding everyone. When people still couldn't see what the halo of light was, Eva stepped out with a new form, her most awakened and powerful form. Eva and The Riser Alicorn Brightness Light. Eva rode on The Riser in a beautiful white dress and a golden halo resembling a sun on her back. The Riser's wings, horns, and hooves turned golden and released a white flame. The Riser soared close to Urizen, its wings emitting a bright light in the sky. Everyone seemed to be given a little extra strength (Except Grim). Elastor became stronger and rose, he also transformed into his awakened and final form. A dark explosion was erupted and repelled Zack. He was angry and tried to attack Elastor, but he was temporarily held back by dark chains. Elastor transformed into the form of the Holy Fusion Elf, the power combined with both the elements of thunder and darkness. Right shoulder armor changed to Dark Elf armor and right shoulder armor changed to Thunder Elf armor. Right arm armor was Dark Elf armor and left arm armor was Thunder Elf armor. The chest and belly armor in the middle was thunder and darkness around. The leg armor is divided into two elements, the inside is yellow and the outside is black. The foot armor was taken from Thunder Elf's armor because of its very good jump. On Elastor's waist was a black cloak. Elastor grew the bat wing on the right and the hawk wing on the left. Elastor wore a helmet of thunder with a dark faceplate covering his eyes. Elastor thought to himself:

"Here, Dark Elastor, this is our power. Harmony between thunder and darkness."

At the same time, Eva's light melted the ice and released Lamalia. She rose and shouted:

"Now!"

Lamalia kicked the ground hard and opened her seal. Lamalia teleported Hatai with her to the desert where the heat of the desert would weaken his ice.

Seeing the temperature rise too hot, Hatai was angry and said:

"What have you done?!"

Lamalia said a loud:

"Heart of The Desert!"

Lamalia continued to open the seal and a huge sand arena was erected around them, a perfect imitation of the Arena of Champions. Lamalia put on Light Rhino armor and around her and Hatai spawned stone weapons. Lamalia pointed sword at Hatai and said strongly:

"This is your grave, your payment for betraying Zed."

Hatai replied in confusion:

"How could I betray Zed? He's my enemy."

Lamalia said:

"Zed was the Horseman of Death, don't you remember?"

Suddenly Hatai suffered a fleeting headache, he was reminded of old images, on the fateful night that changed Zed forever. Rather, Laura didn't actually change the memories of everyone in the kingdom, it was impossible. Instead, Laura cast a special spell on everyone in the kingdom that changed one's identity, she changed Zed's identity from Horseman of Death to a normal shop owner. Memories of that person would be cut off into someone else's face but the original remained and was locked very deep in the mind. But it was a problem not to repeat too much about the past of the person whose identity was changed or else the person with the altered memory would remember everything. If the common people after having their memories altered knew very little about Zed, but Hatai had been following him for a long time, his past would be clearer. So Hatai remembered everything, he realized he was still not a real Horseman of Death, he picked up his hammer and said angrily:

"Damn it, I don't know what's wrong with me? But if I kill you, I'll become the Horseman of Death too."

Lamalia replied:

"Bring it on!"

Lamalia and Hatai rushed forward and fought each other. Alata and Julia looked at each other and nodded like they were planning something. Alata immediately turned back to normal as a boy and successfully slipped out of the tentacle. Alata changed back into Vortex armor form and lunged at the tentacle that was capturing Julia, he swung his spear at it and saved her. Alata flew up to get out of Selaras's reach and Julia swung after him. Julia transformed into her final form, Armory Vines armor. The vines were tied around Julia's legs, arms, back, and chest. The vines on Julia's shoulders sprouted three long poison darts. Along the spine of Julia were small roses that acted like bombs. Rosing gauntlets were fitted with two extra long tubes that fired rose spikes in quick succession. Also the left hand gauntlet could create a vines shield. On her thighs were prepared two wooden hilts so that Julia could create weapons made from vines. Julia's foot vines armor was equipped with rose thorns to increase kick damage. Julia dropped the exploding roses into Selaras' second mouth. It swallowed the roses and Selaras' stomach exploded in pain. Selaras was in pain and tore open his acid-filled stomach and used it as a weapon to spray the two of them with acid. Selaras' intestines, liver, and kidneys were torn open and they were kept hanging in his stomach. Alata threw Julia towards Selaras and then rushed with her to attack the enemy. Belle noticed Eva's efforts, she slowly stood up with her whole body drenched after being submerged in the water by Laura for so long. Belle transformed into her New Shining Star form again and released the elemental aura. Laura was surprised by Belle's efforts, she said:

"Still trying?"

Belle replied:

"Yes, now listen to me wizard. Let's test this together, whoever activates the elemental flow the longest and beats the other in time wins."

Laura thought for a moment, then said:

"Hmm, activating elemental flow for too long can result in loss of life, are you sure you want to try?"

Belle replied:

"Oh yeah, that's the only way for me to defeat you."

Laura said arrogantly:

"Okay then, let's bet with our own lives."

Belle and Laura then activate the elemental flow at the same time. Belle then rushed to attack Laura with light beams and Laura launched large water currents to attack Belle. Grim was still lying on the ground, he thought to himself:

"Everyone is fighting, I have to fight too. But damn it, my whole body can't move."

Suddenly Grim saw a black smoke in the sky, he thought to himself:

"Smoke, but where does it come from?"

From afar, Elastor launched darkness at Zack and Zack sprayed fire at Elastor. Fire and darkness clashed and burned each other and produced smoke. Thanks to that, the smoke was sent to the sky, and Alata then controlled the wind to bring the smoke to Grim. Elastor said aloud:

"Hey Grim, take it and stop sleeping."

Grim looked at the black smoke and thought with anger:

"This is my last chance to defeat him!"

Grim immediately stood up and grabbed the smoke and sucked it inside. Grim's whole body emitted smoke and he transformed into his final form. As for Exos waiting for Grim to finish transforming, he had no intention of attacking right away. A pair of red eyes flashed in the smoke, Grim stepped out in Unchained Toxic Mist form. Grim's hair grew like a long smoke, his eyes were fiercer and he wore a smoke helmet that covered his mouth. Grim's hands had two long smoke chains and they were dragged across the ground. On his arms were also two long blades and claws for fast close combat. Grim's shoulder and thigh armor were made out of smoke with pointed shapes to increase running speed. The claws became sharper and could jump farther and higher. Grim rotated his neck to stretch his joints and said arrogantly:

"Hey Master, I'm back."

Exos replied coldly:

"Is that all? Just a new form like them."

Grim said:

"That's right, but here's how to defeat you. And now let's change the terrain a bit."

Grim kicked the ground hard, cracking the ground and creating a crack towards Exos. Lamalia also felt it on the ground so she immediately punched down hard. Grim and Exos fell into the rift and landed in a battle zone Lamalia had created for them. It was a giant sphere and in the middle was a pillar of stone. Exos landed on the pillar while Grim clung to the stone wall. Exos looked around and calmly said:

"So what's your plan?"

Grim replied arrogantly:

"I know you're strong in wide areas, so why don't we try in a narrow area like this? Maybe my advantage will be faster."

Exos summoned the Moon halberd and said coldly:

"Just come over here."

Grim smiled excitedly and launched the chain to swing forward to attack Exos. Grim said aloud:

"Endless Blade, Slash!"

Grim wielded two blades on his arms and swung repeatedly to release smoke blades that destroyed the rock above Exos's head. Rocks fell on him, Exos preparing to destroy them but Grim immediately chained them and cornered them all towards Exos. Exos quickly smashed the hilt down and fired crescent moon darts that destroyed the rocks. Smoke and dust swirled around making it difficult for Exos to see Grim's exact location. Grim ran along the stone wall and lunged forward with his paw at Exos. He flew through the smoke and raised his legs ready to kick Exos from behind. Suddenly Exos immediately turned around and blocked the kick with hilt. Grim immediately jumped out, he continued to run around and continued to attack Exos in many directions using the smoke screen. Exos was repeatedly attacked by Grim's surprise attack, but he calmly fought back and stopped all of his attacks. Grim lunged forward and unleashed a barrage of slashes at Exos, but he also repeatedly parried. Grim moved quickly around Exos and unleashed more slashes. Exos showed no signs of worry and quickly parried all of them. Exos swung his halberd and launched four crescent moon slashes around sending smoke away. Exos saw Grim putting all his strength into the foot in front of him. Grim was about to launch a long jump at Grim, he pressed his foot hard and said:

"Death Slash!"

Grim dashed at an overpowered speed into Exos. His two blades emitted a smoky gray that cut through the air. Moon Halberd's blade radiated the white color of the moon, making everyone feel cold. Exos said aloud:

"Silent!"

The two were too close to each other. Grim swung his blade immediately and Exos immediately thrust. That moment was so fast that Exos couldn't slow down time. And finally the battle was over. Exos stabbed through Grim's chest while he remained unscathed. Exos said calmly:

"The results are clear."

Grim laughed excitedly and said with sarcasm to Exos:

"It's me, I cut you down."

It was only now that Exos realized that his right cheek had a cut, the cut was quite deep but so fast that he couldn't feel the pain. Exos thought in confusion:

"No way, he did it."

Grim's chest and mouth bled, he dropped his hand and turned back to normal. Grim laughed and said arrogantly:

"That's… my most perfect slash."

Grim closed his eyes and fell on Exos' shoulder, he sacrificed himself and successfully defeated Exos. Exos thought to himself:

"The spirit is so good, he succeeded in this challenge, he is ready."

Back on the ground, Belle immediately flew and dodged Laura's currents. She stretched out her arms and fired light orbs at Laura. Laura created a magic shield to cover. Although Belle tried to dodge, two streams of water flowed too fast to hit her wings. The stream of water was so fast that it scraped her wings. The pained Belle rushed forward faster and kicked the magic shield with both feet, causing it to be destroyed to Laura's surprise. Belle kicked even deeper into Laura's stomach, she spat out blood in pain because she hadn't had time to activate the "Eye of Reality". Belle thought to herself:

"Two minutes."

Laura continued to swing the staff and hit Belle in the face, making her almost fall. But Belle still managed to get up and punch Laura hard in the face. Now the magical battle between the two wizards had turned into a one-on-one battle. Belle threw another powerful hook punch to Laura's face, stunning her. Laura became angry and lost her temper, she created a water orbs that launched it at Belle's stomach at close range. Belle spat out blood and her skirt on the stomach was torn. Belle thought to herself:

"Twenty seconds to go."

That power attack from Laura greatly weakened Belle. Laura knew the limit of the elemental flow was about to end, so she stopped activating it, but Belle continued. Laura looked worried and confused before Belle, she thought to herself:

"She's going to kill herself? Stop it."

Belle created a very powerful light orb in her right hand and was about to smash it at Laura. Laura hastily activated "Eyes of Reality" but it was too late. Belle uses the elemental flow to travel through Laura's dimension. Belle smashed the light orb directly into Laura's stomach, she spat out blood and shouted:

"Be defeated!"

Laura was hit too hard and unexpectedly, she was defeated and fainted. Time passed normally, Laura lay down on the ground and turned back to normal. Belle also knelt down and returned, she thought to herself:

"Five minutes and ten seconds, it's over the limit of elemental flow."

Belle won, but the cost of using elemental flow for so long had come. Bell's blood vessels were so white, she was about to vanished. Now that Belle only saw Grim, she remembered their happy moments together. Belle thought to herself:

"Grim, if you're alive. I want to say I love you."

Belle looked out over the rift where Grim and Exos had descended to fight. Suddenly Exos flew up and also dragged Grim after, he looked at Belle and then at Laura. Exos sighed and flew to Belle, he dropped Grim near Belle and then on to Laura. Belle hurriedly put Grim's head on her lap, and worriedly said:

"Grim, Grim. Please. Open your eyes for me."

Exos helped Laura up and said:

"Hey, are you okay?"

Laura replied weakly:

"I'm fine, I need a day off now. How's Belle?"

Exos said:

"She's on the verge of disappearing."

Belle saw the wound on Grim's chest, she burst into tears in sadness because she couldn't heal him right now. Belle's tears flowed down Grim's face, she said:

"Grim, I'm sorry."

Exos replied:

"Don't worry, he's already saved by me. He's already on the verge of death but I only need to sacrifice ten more years of mine."

Belle wiped the blood and saw that the wound had healed. She smiled and cried in happiness as she realized this was their last moment. Belle said to Exos:

"Thank you so much, he means a lot to me."

Belle touched Grim's left cheek, he muttered:

"Belle?"

Belle replied:

"I'm here, I'm always here Grim, by your side. From the moment we first met, I never thought we were destined to be together."

Belle slowly kissed Grim, what seemed to be their last kiss. Belle said:

"I love you Grim."

As Belle felt she was about to disappear, a light shone on her back to prevent her from disappearing. Belle turned quickly and saw Emanda infusing her soul into her. Emanda said with effort:

"I won't let the student I love most die."

Emanda passed half of her life to Belle and saved her. Belle burst into tears and said worriedly:

"Master Emanda? But..."

Emanda hugged Belle and replied happily:

"It's okay Belle, you just need to rest."

Emanda cast the Sleep Spell on Belle. Belle closed her eyes and fell asleep in Grim's lap, their hands clasped. They won their battles. Emanda and Laura looked at each other and smiled, Laura said:

"Older?"

Emanda replied:

"Yeah, I need to drink more wine or I'll get older."

And then the battle of the rest. Lamalia slid across the sand and rushed to attack Hatai, she quickly grabbed the stone hammer on the way. Hatai swung the hammer quickly at Lamalia but she immediately slid down and slammed the hammer straight into his stomach. Lamalia moved quickly behind Hatai and grabbed the stone mace and continued to charge. Hatai kept swinging his hammer around to hit Lamalia, but her speed increased rapidly for his size. Hatai was attacked so much that his armor was destroyed. Lamalia swung her axe and hit Hatai in the stomach and then slashed his back. Hatai was so enraged that he swung his hammer high and hurled ice spikes at Lamalia. She immediately dodged and launched rocks at him. Hatai immediately released a blast of cold air to freeze the ice, the two of them pushing each other. Lamalia immediately lunges forward and wraps the rocks around the cold air and wraps Hatai's right hand with rocks to hold him back. Lamalia continued to launch more stone stakes through Hatai's arms, legs and chest. He had become too weak against the high temperatures in the desert to be able to fight back. Lamalia rushed forward and raised her sword, she shouted strongly:

"Dark Slash!"

Lamalia jumped up and rushed down to slash at Hatai, next to her Zed appeared with her rushing down. Lamalia unleashed a powerful slash that ended Hatai's life forcefully at his bewildered expression. He paid the price for his betrayal and died in humiliation knowing he would never truly be a Horseman of Death. Hatai was defeated, Lamalia was victorious. She broke the seal of the sand arena and then looked towards the Gloria kingdom. Lamalia looked at Zed's sword and said:

"People need more help, Go help them!"

Lamalia threw the Returner sword far into the Gloria kingdom. It flew through the forest and flew towards Elastor. Elastor and Zack were still fighting fiercely with each other. The two rushed forward and threw their fists at each other at the same time. The two punches clashed and created an attack that blew away the surrounding grass. Elastor immediately shoots lightning at Zack, but Zack endures and comes close and punches Elastor in the chest. Elastor backed down and Zack continued to swing the axe down at him but Elastor launched the darkness and threw the axe away. Zack got angry and swung his arms at Elastor, he crossed his arms and caught them in time. Zack's whole body was on fire and the flames spread out Elastor burned him. Zack said with anger:

"Die in the flames of war!"

Elastor looked weak but he slowly stood up to Zack's confusion. He replied strongly:

"Never!"

Elastor sucked Zack's fire from the darkness of his right shoulder armor, he learned Zed's ability to absorb everything. Elastor unleashed a combination punch of thunder and darkness straight into Zack's chest, knocking him back. Elastor then flew into the air in front of Zack, who immediately turned around and grabbed the Returner sword just in time. Elastor said with determination to defeat Zack:

"Thank you Zed, for your last legacy!"

Elastor turned to look at Zack and unleashed thunder on the Star greatsword and unleashed darkness on the Returner sword. Zack burst into flames and madly leapt at Elastor like a beast. Elastor immediately swung his swords at the same time, the image of Zed appeared and swung the sword with Elastor together. The lightning released from the Star greatsword and the darkness released from the Returner sword both shot at Zack. The two powers combined and became a dark bolt of lightning that shot at Zack. Zack was hit, he succumbed to the dark lightning and exploded. Zack turned into a flame and vanished forever. Elastor landed on the ground turning normal, he said:

"The End."

Elastor then threw the Returner sword to Julia. Julia saw the sword come flying so she immediately caught it. At the same time near Selaras's head, Julia turned and swung her sword straight into his skull, injuring him. Alata also dashed forward and swung his spear yet another blow to his skull. Selaras's skull was cracked, he got angry and used his stomach and pimples to spray acid at them. Alata immediately launched the wind drill at Selaras, the vortex changed the direction of acid and stuck to Selaras and burned him. Julia drew the darts and hurled them into Selaras's eyes, blinding him. Julia moved behind Selaras and put her sword behind her back and pulled out the two wooden hilts. Julia jumped onto her chest and created two thorny sword vines. Julia leapt forward and stabbed Selaras's winged back, rendering him unable to fly. Selaras had become too weak. She then backed down and drew her sword for one final slash. Alata and Julia rushed to Selaras's skull at the same time in two different directions. Alata swung his spear in front of Selaras's skull and Julia lunged forward and swung her sword at the back of Selaras's skull. The image of Zed appeared with them and fought against Selaras. The two attacks struck at once, exploding Selaras's skull and finishing him off. Julia and Alata landed on the ground and turned back to normal. Selaras's body became rotting and melted into a monstrous liquid. Julia and Alata won, Alata said calmly:

"Farewell, father."

Julia then immediately threw her sword into the air at Eva and shouted:

"Eva!"

The battle between Eva and Urizen was approaching its final stage. Urizen swung his dual swords at Eva but she immediately parried the attack with her bow. The two then backed away, Urizen ignited green flames and launched at Eva. And Eva launched the pure light of the sun into Urizen. Both powers repelled each other and Urizen and Eva stopped attacking. Urizen ignited green flames on his wings and summoned the souls he had slain. The vindictive and angry souls trapped in the green flames rushed to attack Eva. The halo on Eva's back gave off a pure and warm light. That light washed away the grievances of the souls, healed them and sent them to the afterlife. Urizen was surprised at Eva's pure power and said:

"This power? Will heal and save them all."

Urizen had combined his dual swords into a golden bow. Urizen drew his bow and created an arrow with green flames. The arrow was shaped like an X and seemed to want to plunge deep into the enemy. The fiery arrow grew bigger and bigger like a rocket. Eva heard Julia's words so she turned around and promptly grabbed the Returner sword. Eva looked at the sword and said:

"So this is my last arrow, thank you Zed."

Eva drew her bow as well, and light spread throughout the bow. Eva placed the Returner sword on the bow like an arrow, light was released on the blade. The two pointed arrows at each other and aimed carefully. Suddenly Eva saw next to her the spirit of Zed, he was raising Eva's arm so that she could hit more accurately and aim with her. Zed smiled happily and calmly said:

"Aim carefully."

Eva nodded and said:

"I will."

She became more and more determined in this final drop of the bowstring. Urizen shot arrows and said loudly:

"Arrow of The Afterlife!"

Eva shot an arrow and said loudly:

"The Arrow of the New Dawn!"

The two arrows flew fast and hard at each other, they released hot air that burned the surrounding air. Returner sword flew through Urizen's arrow and destroyed it, it rushed forward and stabbed into his chest. Urizen spat out blood and said:

"Finally... She made it."

Eva turned back to normal and said with concern:

"Urizen..."

Eva and Urizen slowly descended to the ground and landed. Below Elastor, Julia, Alata and Lamalia were waiting below and they took her in their arms. They hugged each other happily, Lamalia happily said:

"We won, we won."

Eva wept with emotion and replied:

"Yes, we won."

After a difficult journey that led to this final moment of victory, they finally completed the journey. Then, the Crusadia team looked up and saw Zed's soul, he looked more alive and happier than before. Zed smiled as if to congratulate Eva and said calmly:

"Don't forget me. Goodbye everyone."

Zed then disappeared to the afterlife to everyone's touch. They then turned and saw Urizen standing ablaze in blue flames, his whole body dissolving in feathers. Urizen pulled out his Returner sword and plunged it into the ground, then he looked up at the sky, sighing as if he had been released. Urizen burst into tears and said sadly:

"I can feel this moment, it's warm and peaceful."

Eva replied sadly:

"Urizen, you've been freed."

Urizen said:

"Thank you."

Urizen then threw Eva his notebook-like diary and a glass jar containing King Arthur's soul. Then when the body was about to disappear with the green flame leaving only the head, Urizen smiled and said:

"I have never given up on you, protect the Highland Continent for me. This is the most meaningful place left for me. You are ready for more difficulties. Eva, you will be a great queen."

Eva burst into tears of sadness over Urizen's death. Urizen said the last words:

"What a beautiful final chapter this is."

Urizen disintegrated into feathers, they flew to the sky and were burned with green flames then disappeared forever.
