The Combat Powers

For eleven years Gong Kim has been giving training to Ji Ho. He trained her in every aspect of cultivation in terms of both martial and weapon cultivationnas well as spiritual cultivation.

In these past eleven years Ji Ho became super disciplined, hard working cultivator who has most of her time in training and cultivation.

After becoming a cultivator Ji Ho wanted to learn one thing first which is to fly as when she saw her father being floating in the air and her flying in the air which he showed to her while demonstrating the things she can do by becoming a cultivator.

So she urged her father to teach her how fly because she was really fascinated by the flying ability of the cultivators.

As we all know that the kids always demand only that thing which attracts them the most and here the flying ability has attracted her the most in the beginning.

So he decided that he would teach her first how to fly using her cultivation.

Then he started to explain her how a cultivator actually fly in the sky like birds,

Gong Kim: "Daughter for us cultivators to fly in the sky we have to get separated from the gravity because gravity always keeps us to move in the ground."

Ji Ho: "What is this gravity father ?"

Gong Kim: "Daughter gravity is the energy of the earth which keeps legs to move only on the ground. Let me explain it to you."

Saying this he went inside their mansion and brought a gourd and glue with him. Then he broke the gourd in half then he showed it her daughter and said,

Gong Kim: "Daughter what is it ?"

Ji Ho: "It is the gourd whichbyou have broke into two parts."

Then Gong Kim applied the glue on the two broken parts of the gourd then joined the two parts against each other and leave it for few minutes.

After few minutes he started to pull the gourd from it's both side edges but it didn't budge and the gourd become the way it was before Gong Kim broke it. Then he said to his daughter,

Gong Kim: "Daughter as you can see after I broke the gourd, I have applied this glue on it and the glue joined the gourd's broken part and made it just like before. Do you understand this ?"

Ji Ho: "I understand father, but father still I can walk and run on the ground very well but still my feets are not joined to ground."

Gong Kim: "It is because the gravity of the earth is that strong with the energy in our body helps to move our body on the ground by breaking the effect of gravity. But as you know we can only walk and run on the ground but can not fly because the energy of our bodily energies are just able to give us the that much strength using which we can only walk and run on the ground. So to float and fly in the air we have to use more energy and for that we use cultivation to gather more energies in our and amplify that energy to go against the gravity to be able to fly freely in the air."

Saying this Gong Kim placed two of his fingers on Ji Ho's forehead while closing his eyes. Then a bright light emitted from his body which is seen by Ji Ho with great amazement.

Then the light entered inside Ji Ho's mind and she closed her eyes without her knowledge and then the light stayed like that for few seconds then it disappeared. After the light disappeared Gong Kim opened his and saw Ji Ho has still closed her eyes.

Then he asked her open her eyes and when she opened her eyes she saw many images were flashing in front of her eyes.

When she saw these images but in reality there was nothing she became shocked and seeing this Gong Kim told her,

Gong Kim: "Daughter using my spiritual energy I have unsealed some cultivation techniques information which I have previously sent inside your head. Now you can follow those informations and practise the give methods in it to achieve your first cultivation technique which is the flying technique. But you have to start practise it slowly, okay."

Hearing her father Ji Ho understood everything he was saying and then she started practise everything that was written in the information slowly.

Soon she learnt all the details and with tge help of her learning she started to float on the air. While her eyes were she was floating and she didn't even know it herself but Gong Kim who was seeing this gave a proud smile and called her open her eyes and when Ji Ho opened her eyes she saw was floating in the air and this made her very happy and loose her focus on the concentration of energy which was being used by her cultivation to make her float.

"THUD" and she fell on the ground. Gong Kim knew that this was her first time using her cultivation powers so she was likely to make this type of mistake, so he gently explained her to never loose your focus and she understood and then she started practising again for about two hours and then after those two hours she started to fly in the sky.

Now she has learnt the flying technique completely.

Then with each new day Ji Ho's training become more intense. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months turned into years and just like a blink of an eye it is been eleven years of Ji Ho's training.

In these eleven years Ji Ho has learnt and mastered many combat styles and combat related cultivation techniques.

After Ji Ho has learnt and mastered flying, Gong Kim them started to train her in hand to hand combat in parallel with her spiritual cultivation.

Then after Ji Ho learnt the combat styles, Gong Kim trained her in aerial combats and not just that he also trained her stealth attacks.

The reason Gong Kim trained Ji Ho in stealth attack was simple because he knew that there are people like Park Min are still present in both the worlds that is the real world and the cover world.

Gong Kim was fully aware that one day Ji Ho will venture out to the real world and eventually she will enter into the cover world be it with me or with the second power holder and for this reason he knew that she will every technique and knowledge at her disposal for the protection of herself and the second power holder.

Yes, it was said the Primal Chaos Dragon that the first power holder would get all of his combat powers and the cultivation powers related to it but the second the power holder would only get the other cultivation powers of the dragon other than the combat powers.

The dragon also prophesied that the second power holder would be not be able to handle the combat powers of him and only the first power holder is able.

Then in her cultivation training Ji Ho has mastered many weapons and many martial arts which is also used by her in the aerial martial arts as well.

Not only this but Ji Ho has also learnt elemental cultivation techniques as well. Ji Ho has has mastered only two elements of the nature which are the wind and water.

Ji Ho has completely mastered the two elements which were said unpredictable in the cultivation worlds but for some reasons she wasn't able to control and master the remaining two elements which are Fire, Earth and Lightning.

This reason was also not known by Gong Kim because he thought that the power holders chosen by the dragon would be able to atleast control all the elements to some extent if she can not master it fully before attaining the dragon's powers.

The real reason for her to be not able to control and master all the elements was hidden inside a scroll of the dragon which will appear on the fateful day of power receiving for Ji Ho.

Now back at the time when Ji Ho is 18 years old.

It is as usual a normal day when Ji Ho is still practicing her aerial martial arts with a wooden sword specially created for training.

Although Gong Kim has trained her to use her cultivation to use energy to manifest any kinds of weapons and objects but he instructed Ji Ho to use the wooden sword when practicing.

While she was practicing Gong Kim watched over her training then like everyday she practised for several hours and then both of them had their food and then Gong Kim would teach her various things like literature, business, art and culture, etc.

Then after their teaching session they both went to their separate rooms to sleep and end the day.

While Ji Ho was sleeping, she saw a very peculiar dream. Which made her got up from her sleep and gasping in shock with sweat forming on her beautiful face.

Then she decided that she will talk with her father next morning about this dream of her as she didn't want to disturb him in his sleep.

Then the night went and the morning came and Ji Ho went to her father who was outside their mansion meditating as usual.

Then Ji Ho went to him and greeted her,

Ji Ho: "Good morning father."

Hearing her Gong Kim opened his eyes and greeted her back,

Gong Kim: "Good morning Daughter."

Gong Kim saw that Ji Ho was a little tense about something and he asked her,

Gong Kim: "Daughter did you sleep well yesterday ? Is anything bothering you ? You can tell me."

Ji Ho: "Actually father to tell you the truth there is something that is bothering me from yesterday night for which I was not able to get proper sleep."

Gong Kim: "Tell me what is it Daughter ?"

Then Ji Ho started to tell him about her dream from last night.

Ji Ho: "Father actually last night I have seen a dream which was very strange. In my dream I saw, I was standing in front of a big castle. Then the main entry of castle opened automatically and I heard a voice which told me to enter into the castle and following the voice I entered into the castle. I didn't know what happened but that voice just attracted me like magent and just followed every instruction and direction the voice said. Then I came in front of a big door which has a big dragon carved in it.

Hearing till now made Gong Kim really shocked and then Ji Ho continued her talk,

Ji Ho: "Then the invisible voice told me to open to the door and enter into the room. Following it's instructions I opened the door and entered inside the room. When I went inside the room it was completely dark nothing can be seen inside the room and voice just told me to go straight and I complied with it's words and went straight ahead then after walking for about fifty steps the voice told me to stop and I stopped and then it told me to look up towards my front and looked up in front of me and I saw something very dangerous.

Ji Ho: "I saw two red eyes which is just red as blood and fire buring inside it. Then suddenly entire room lit up and I turned my head to see the entire room. The room was very huge, majestic with many seats placed inside the room with the decorated with gold and when I looked in front of me I saw a golden throne on which the end part of a big tail was placed and then followed the tail upwards to see who has the big tail.

Ji Ho: "When I reached up by looking I saw a big dragon whose entire was of red colour with red eyes which terrified me and it had two horns on it's head and it was looking at me then it opened it's mouth told me to come near him. When I heard it's voice I realized it was the same voice which I was hearing from the outside of the castle and I was terrified of it I backed of few steps but then the dragon started to come near me and I got really scared. So I started to run away from it but then when i exited the room i saw i was now standing in a different place which has nothing surrounding it and when inlooked in front of ne i saw a house was burning down to ashes and then suddenly i got up from my sleep."

After hearing everything Gong Kim was very shocked because he has never mentioned anything about the dragon and the past of Ji Ho to her.

Then he thought inwardly,

Gong Kim: "It is still three years for the power receiving day and why he suddenly appeared in Ji Ho's dream and why she has seen the burning house in her dream as I have never mentioned any of these things to her. What is it my friend that you want to say to her to me ?"

Gong Kim couldn't understand the meaning of all these things.

Seeing her father in deep thinking Ji Ho asked,

Ji Ho: "What are you thinking father ? What is the meaning of my dream father ? I can't understand anything."

Hearing Ji Ho, Gong Kim came out of his thought and looked at his daughter who was looking at her with an expectant look on her face. Then he told her,

Gong Kim: "Nothing daughter, i was just thinking about the dream you have seen and I found the meaning behind it."

Ji Ho: "Really father, then what is the meaning of my dream ?"

Gong Kim: "The dream which you have seen has a dragon of red and a burning house in it. These two things mean that all the bad and evil things which is your life will be gone and good things will come to you soon."

Ji Ho: "Really father. Is it true ?"

Gong Kim: "Yes daughter it is true."

Hearing his words Ji Ho became very happy and sighed in relief. But she didn't knew that Gong Kim has lied to her.

(A/N - Although Ji Ho has never gone out of their own secret world but Gong Kim has shown and told about different mythical beasts using different books and scrolls. So for this she knew about dragons and their appearance.)

Then Gong Kim got up from his meditation and told her,

Gong Kim: "Daughter today you will not do your training."

Ji Ho: "Why father ?"

Gong Kim: "Because we are going somewhere which is very important place for you."
