The remaining three days of Paskha's training with Sir Clove went smoothly. Because now Paskha knew what his goal was, he could run straight without deviating to the right or left even though he had been running for more than three hours. The distance between the two arrays on both sides had also narrowed, but it would not hinder Paskha. The child's heart was filled with unshakable resolve, and firm determination ran straight like an unbending ruler.
Nonetheless, the real difficulties would occur when Paskha was in a gravitational field. If Sir Clove knew that Paskha had used the reborn soul skill, he would not have allowed the boy to open three points at once. At the same time, he wished to see the boy's success in doing it.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes! But, is it alright for you to be my guard?"
Paskha intended to hide his innate mana level as long as possible. But he couldn't lie or trick the hall guard―the guard would be suspicious if he asked for a higher pressure level. Luckily Sir Clove volunteered himself as Paskha's guard. But he still didn't understand how Sir Clove could act according to what he wanted when Paskha had never asked him to.
"Why would it be a problem? Even though most think I am weak, I have extensive knowledge of mortal and eternal cultivation. They would still listen to me if I requested to look after my own direct disciple."
Instantly Paskha's eyes lit up hearing this. "That means you are willing to make me your direct disciple?"
"I require you to unlock three basic points to be my direct pupil, but I'm not asking you to do it simultaneously. Your decision has exceeded my expectations. If I let go of a talented candidate like you, wouldn't it be me who will lose?"
Paskha smiled broadly at this and hummed happily as if there was no weight on his shoulders. Only at this time did Paskha look like a child of his age.
Arriving at the opening hall, Sir Clove and Paskha went straight to the registration room and borrowed one of the field rooms. Just like what Sir Clove had said, the guard didn't refuse his request to guard Paskha, unlocking his basic points. Without wasting time, the two of them immediately walked into one of the rooms that the guard had set.
The opening hall had thirty rooms to practice getting used to, so its gravity field level only reached level four. Then twenty rooms with gravity field levels starting from level five and above.
The room that Sir Clove chose was the gravity field of level five and above. Paskha had full innate mana―he wouldn't feel anything in a gravitational field below level five. Because of that, Sir Clove immediately brought Paskha to level five and above.
A defensive array partition bounded to create two spaces in each room―one was a gravity field, while the latter was a guardian place that would control the gravity level.
Each room had been covered with a gravity field and could be activated and controlled through a tool called a controlling device.
When Paskha entered the room and occupied the gravitational field this second, he felt nothing. It was all because Sir Clove had not activated this room's pressure field.
"Do you want to get used to it or start right away?" asked Sir Clove after seeing Paskha sitting cross-legged, indicating that he was ready to accept the pressure of this room's field.
"Will it be dangerous if I start right away?" During the past week, Paskha has not gotten used to the field's pressure. He focused more on maintaining his stamina and controlling the distribution of mana flow within his body.
"Depends on your physical body. I'll start with level five first and raise it immediately if you feel nothing."
"I'll do as you told, master."
Sir Clove held the black tubular object on the controlling device. Then he infused his soul force into the thing, and instantly the tube glowed peach, indicating it was level five.
Paskha started to feel something tickling his skin, and he could tell the gravitational pressure was beginning to activate. Even so, he didn't feel pressured or in pain.
"Sir Clove, I barely feel a thing."
Level five was too low for little Paskha. Because of that, Sir Clove turned the circle to the right until it turned yellow.
Paskha began to feel the difference. He felt like an overweight man was bumping into and on top of him, but he still held on.
"I can still survive," stated Paskha in one breath, making Sir Clove raise it again until the circle's light turned green.
Paskha felt he was facing a huge soul beast, and hitting him made his body ache all over. He knew… this pressure would not able to open his first basic point because it still had not reached its minimum pressure.
"Please… raise it again." Paskha had a bit of trouble speaking this time because of the intense pressure.
"Are you sure? Don't push yourself too hard."
"I'm sure," stated the boy with firmness and complete confidence.
After ensuring that Paskha's physical condition had not weakened, Sir Clove turned the circle again until it turned blue.
This was the minimum pressure level required for Paskha to unlock his three bottom points. Aside from that, it depended on the incredible determination that the boy had to open them successively.
Paskha himself had a bit of trouble dividing his mana flow once he felt the pressure that was many times stronger than before. He felt like he was sitting under a huge waterfall, and his whole body was being hit hard.
His skin felt like it was being stabbed, and it was challenging just to lift his head.
Back then, as he could remember, everything felt lighter than how it felt now. Could it be because he used to start getting used to it, while now he immediately unlocks it? There was such a possibility, but Paskha did not want to back down.
He was fully concentrating and using his mental strength to control his mana flow. Before the first point was unlocked, he couldn't run out of mana or give up.
Two hours. Paskha only needed to wait two hours for the first point to open. After that, he would absorb the mana around him to unlock the next two points.
Sir Clove, who had been investigating Paskha's expression, smiled a little. At first, he was worried that Paskha's body, which had never been bombarded by gravity, would experience excruciating pain. But seeing the look on Paskha's face, which had now become more relaxed, he didn't need to worry anymore.
