Su Ruan finally excused herself to let her grandfather rest.
When she came out, Su Ruan found that she was too shy to look at Long Fei. Her grandparents were excitingly discussing her marriage.
They had never brought up the matter of marriage. Su Ruan was worried that Long Fei would feel uncomfortable when her grandparents brought up this topic.
"I'm sorry. I hope that my grandparents would not make you uncomfortable." Su Ruan shot an apologetic look at Long Fei. "Just that, this was the first time I brought someone to introduce to my grandparents. They were… easily excited."
"It's fine." Long Fei patted her on the hair. The two of them walked until they reached the elevator where it was quieter. Then, he tugged at Su Ruan's hand and leaned over until the tip of their nose was almost touching.
Her eyes widened, as Su Ruan wondered what was this man trying to do.
"Su Ruan."
"Ah?" Her heartbeat accelerated.
