Chapter 22: Allan

Trailing the man he had glimpsed, Allan soon discovered that his assumption of entering an empty room was incorrect. Instead, he found himself in a transitional space that served as a passage to the castle kitchen. As he turned a dark corner, he discovered the man patiently awaiting his arrival in an enclosed area featuring a small window.

"Sile, that was imprudent of you. I hope you have something urgent," Allan's low voice penetrated the quiet air in the compact space.
