The Burning Heat
"Sir!" In panic, she called her master and immediately opened the door.
When the door was opened wide, Edna found her master trying to reach for a glass of water on the table. The man was only wearing pants, and his long hair was a mess. His body was sweating and flushed red.
"Sir! What happened to you?" Edna asked worriedly.
"What… what are you… doing here? LUCA!" shouted Maximillian who didn't want to see Edna at the moment. He hated looking weak in front of humans.
Her master was about to fall, and Edna reflexively ran to hug the man's body so his head didn't hit the floor.
The moment their skins grazed with each other, Maximilian jolted, as though an electric current was running through his body. The man gripped Edna's body even tighter.
"You!"
Maximillian embraced Edna tightly. After the sudden electric current, his body, which was on fire, slowly cooled down. He let out a breath of relief.
