Otis Is Crying?
"Okay …. Edna. Have you put on the blanket?"
"Yes."
Luffy then helped Edna put on the bandages after her right shoulder was smeared with a red hot liquid. The girl winced as a painful and hot sensation rammed her shoulder when the liquid touched her skin.
"What medicine is this, Luffy? Why is it so hot and painful?"
"Ah… I don't know. Otis made it. I only know how to use it."
"You said you also helped him make potions!" Edna's protest made Luffy laugh.
Hearing the man's laugh, Edna laughed too. The two chatted for quite a long time. They even joked together for the rest of the night. For the first time since Edna had set foot on Birwick Castle, she felt more alive.
She really enjoyed joking with Otis, but Otis was too old, and sometimes the man didn't understand her jokes. Meanwhile, Luffy understood what she was saying.
