Suri accepted Rowan's helping hand to get off the horse-drawn carriage. The girl lowered her hood and gazed at the gray brick building looming in front of her. The manor owned by her family looked heavily guarded.
The courtyard, while not as grand as the one in the palace, was neatly maintained. Adorned with trees and summer flowers were still blooming even though the season would soon change.
Hope and Grace had just got off the carriage behind Suri and immediately ran around the courtyard, greeting the servants, maids, and guards.
"Grace! Hope! Watch your step!" Suri scolded in a louder voice as her younger twins were running around recklessly.
"Leave them be. You better rest in your room. Later, I will pick you up for dinner, Sis. We can explore the place tomorrow," Rowan advised as he took Suri into the manor.
