"Aunt Irene only said that you helped them back then."
"Just helping??" Maxieno asked with a touch of disappointment.
Suri bit her lip to stifle a laugh. Her aunt indeed told her the story of Maxieno defeating the Krakens and calming the violent waves in the dark sea. However, for some reason, she decided to feign ignorance.
Maxieno closed the distance between them and placed his hands on Suri's shoulders, making her tense. "You should know, Sunshine, your Aunt and her crew didn't do much. I flew to where the Krakens were battling, tearing them apart one by one. I even severed their tentacles and heated the ocean water until they became boiled octopus."
Maxieno recalled where he had been dragged under the sea by the tentacles of the largest Krakens. However, he then heard Edna's cries calling out to him, causing him to unleash all of his power and come out of the surface of the water at once.
