The journey to what Paige thought could be the Wolf's Bane pack was taking a long time, trepidation filled her. She had no idea when she could get help or escape, but she had to buy some time.
After what seemed like forever, they reached the Wolf's Bane pack. Unlike Jaxson's pack, no one was smiling, there were no young children running around and no sense of community, a chill ran through her.
"We have arrived home little one," Mark said to her, he held her as close to him as possible. He liked her on his lap. He couldn't stop himself from smiling, he felt elated.
The car stopped and the driver got out, he opened the door and Mark picked her up again and carried her towards a large manor.
Paige glanced around and saw that the other car had stopped too and the bulky guard was also getting out. She saw cupcake being carried inside behind her.
She sighed in relief.
"Happy to be home, little one?" Mark asked as he heard her contented sigh.
