Horror (The End)

"Bastard!! How dare you do this to my son!!!"

Roland shouted and ran straight to the Lentor while charging like a madman.

It seemed like he would crush whatever appears in front of him, and his eyes were bloodshot.

The beast also charged at Roland with its massive claw and,

"Boom,"

A tremendous sound echoed in the surroundings as the axe and claw clashed.

Roland and Lentor are both sent backward.

"Chrrrrr,"

Roland used his axe to stop his momentum. He dragged his axe with him. A line appeared in the dirt.

As this was happening, Ryu took this as a chance to take John away from the battle. Ryu knew he couldn't help Roland in the fight.

Ryu then quickly sprinkled some water on John's face.

John's eyes shifted a bit.

Then gradually opening his eyes, John saw the worried look on Ryu's face!!

"Father!! are you alright!!"

As John heard this, he remembered he was in a fight with a beast. He tried to get up from his place, but he couldn't.

"Father!! grandpa tried to distract the beast, and I brought you here as I saw a chance,"

There was a massive pain coming out of John's whole body.

John tried to see what happened to the beast. Ashe saw Roland was attacking like a madman but was slowly getting pushed back.

Seeing this, John said,

"Ryu, help your grandpa. He cannot hold the beast any longer."

As Ryu heard this, he turned towards the battle. He saw the man using all of his strength in the fight.

"But Father!! what can I even do? I don't have any fighting experience like you and grandpa,"

"It's true, but what you have is raw power."

"Raw power!! "

" Yes!! Did you forget you are a quadra elemental?"

"Ohh!! so you mean that right? I forgot about that as I chickened seeing the beast..."Ryu spoke with a little dejected tone.

"This is no time to lose your confidence, and you only have to give your grandpa an opportunity," John answered amidst pain

"Opportunity!! but how?,"

"Use the fire element,"

"Fire element!!?"

"Yes,"

On the other side, Roland was still fighting the Lentor.

His clothes were tattered, and his whole body was bleeding. As a veteran cultivator, he knew that this was a losing fight.

Roland was fighting the beast for some time now.

"Haa... Haa ..." Roland was panting.

' The fight has been going for a while. My spiritual Qi is near depleting,' he thought.

'Normal attacks won't work because the beast can take my attacks. I will have to use one powerful attack.'

As Roland thought this, the surrounding air changed and a sudden gust of wind traveled, repelling the surrounding air.

The beast understood what Roland was doing. He was removing the defense and focusing all on offense.

The beast also roared as responding to the last struggle of its prey.

Roland, seeing this, held the axe up and ran towards the beast, but this time, his footsteps were slow.

"Tap Tap Tap.."

The Lentor also took a stance to dodge the attack and finish Roland.

"The Axe Smashing Art Form 1- crushing the giant boulder"

Roland spoke and attacked the Lentor.

As seeing this, the Lentor bent its legs and tilted its body to the left.

"Thukk"

suddenly an attack hit the Lentor.

The attack was from behind, and the Lentor was focused on Roland.

"Rarrrrr??" it cried in agony as it received the attack.

It was Ryu who took this opportunity and attacked the Lentor's back.

He sneaked behind the Lentor and used the fire attribute at full strength he could muster and attacked with all might.

"Thud!!"

Just as this happened, Roland's axe fell on the neck of the beast and cut it like tofu.

Seeing this, Roland froze. He couldn't believe that the beast didn't move from its spot.

then his eyes trailed and saw a small boy looking at the beast with his small eyes, with a joyous face, and an axe in the boy's hand which was stuck behind the beast.

"Hahaha, very good Ryu, you finally stood up," he said, realizing what must have happened.

"Grandpa, I didn't do much, and if father wouldn't have instructed then.."

What Ryu did was channel all his fire spiritual Qi into his arms and slash with all the power he could muster.

Ryu was still a child and his attack on usual terms would only make Lentor a scratch at most.

But due to the fire element being added to the pure spiritual Qi, his attack was as good as John's, if not better.

"Oh!!, so John told you to do this?" Roland asked, curiously.

"yes!!" Ryu said.

"But you are the one who performed that attack, not John, so it's good for you!!"

As Roland spoke, he walked towards John and looked at him.

"I am happy you didn't die!! "

As he said those words, he took out a cloth pouch and opened it.

Inside it were four pills with a yellow crescent color that gave a sweet aroma.

"Father, there is no need for the pill. I will get better on my own. "

"If we don't use them in time of need, what use do these pills have and your arm looks in an awfully terrible shape"

Roland spoke while putting a pill in his mouth. As the pill came in, John subconsciously ate it.

Just as the pill went down his throat, John felt a sudden burst of spiritual energy.

It was not like the normal spiritual energy which was rampant this spiritual energy was quite gentle.

To John, it felt like drinking a hot soup in the cold snow.

As the spiritual energy swept through his whole body, the injuries began healing.

For Ryu, it was like a miracle happening in front of him. He had not seen these types of pills and only heard that there were some pills that can even heal a severed limb.

"Grandpa, what is that?" said Ryu.

"hmm, this is a Soforus healing pill. It can heal injuries up to a certain point"

"Wow!!, this small pill can heal any injury!!" Ryu exclaimed.

"Not all and it has side effects too," Roland answered.

"Side effects?"

"Yes, this will make the person tired depending on the injury"

"ooh so it comes with side effects too"

"Now! Now!! we don't have time for chatting here. I am also tired so we will go home as fast as possible. Can you walk while holding your father?"

"Yes, I can!! " Ryu spoke while puffing his chest a little.

Then Ryu turned to John and saw him sleeping as he was sleeping peacefully. There were still some wounds on his hand which had not healed yet.

Ryu carefully picked John and put him on his back.

Roland Picked up all the axes and started walking slowly in the direction of the house while Ryu walked behind him.

As they were walking home, Ryu spoke.

"Grandpa, I would like to learn how to fight!!"
